I sensed he was struggling to do as I ask but when he started trimming my top, I said something. He tried to justify it by saying he was blending but why does getting hair off my neck and ears require blending my hair on top of my head? He took as much as 2 inches in some areas. I am now stuck trying to keep my short hair out of my face for the next 5 weeks, even with hair product. Despite my last name, I'm not a professional Barber, but I've been getting this head of mine cut for over 67 years and know when I'm not getting what I ask for. Kyle did not give me what I asked for.

I asked if they could turn the music down some and he did. Moments later a young guy walks out and speaks to me. He looked so young I asked how long he had been doing hair. He replied a year or two. This made me uncomfortable for a couple of reasons. First was he was not sure how long he had been cutting hair and I'm not sure he was licensed to do so. Second was because Barbers and stylist have always had difficulty cutting my hair due to my numerous calics. I told him I going to pass and apologized. She did not use a round brush or any hair product and did not attempt to style my hair in any way. But this was the only part she took literally, because when we discussed what I wanted, I asked for a "longer bob," showing her the picture of a blonde with a long bob several inches past her shoulders, "but with more of a side bang, like this," showing her a picture of a brunette with a shorter bob and a more dramatic side bang. When she asked to confirm the length, I told her I wanted it just PAST my shoulders. She did not ask any further questions and proceeded to cut my hair just ABOVE my shoulders. When I realized what she had done, it was too late. I was informed at checkout when I handed her my credit card that they only take cash or check.
