He actually listens to what I want and gets it right the first time, every time. On top of that, he's just a great guy. He communicates well about timing, is always professional, and clearly takes pride in his work. One thing that really stood out to me was around Halloween--he even helped apply a temporary tattoo for me and was genuinely excited to do it. That kind of attitude is rare. When he moved shops, there wasn't even a question--I followed him without hesitation. I can't recommend Carl enough. If you're looking for someone who consistently delivers top-quality cuts and great service, he's your guy.

I had an overall decent experience, but I wanted to share some feedback. Manny was friendly, but…read morethe haircut felt a bit rushed. I had asked for about a 2.5-3 inch taper on top, but before we could really talk it through, he had already started cutting and suggested going shorter with a guard. During the cut, it didn't feel as smooth as I expected--more like the clippers and shears were being pushed through quickly rather than carefully worked. The shop wasn't busy at the time, so I was a little surprised by the pace. The final result was okay, but after leaving, my wife noticed a few longer hairs that were missed. Nothing major, but enough to point out. I appreciate the effort and the friendliness, just think a little more time and communication would make a big difference.

They definitely like to take their time with each client, which could be a problem if you're in a rush, but as the client I appreciated the attention to detail and that it wasn't about rushing people in and out. I had the lady barber (I believe her name is Amanda?) and let her know that I get a low, skin fade with a #5 on top and a tape up, and I offered to show her a photo if she wanted and she said she was good. I trusted her and the cut came out DOPE and EXACTLY the way I asked/wanted. If I lived here I'd definitely come back and trust her to cut my hair again. The price of the cut was $20, which is pretty standard, and I tipped $10 since she did a good job and I normally pay $30'for my haircut back home.
