I spent at least six months at the Pavilion doing my rehab. I arrived using a walker with no…read moreconfidence and so many questions about my future. I left stronger but more importantly, that I mattered to this group of people. Kelia Brown and Chontarous Jones, the ladies at the front desk are the first people that you meet. Never did they not greet me with a smile when I arrived or with a smile when I left. They were so good to my wife that I had to remind them that I was the patient not her! Just two courteous and caring ladies. Thank you. So my initial evaluation and most of my rehab was directed by Tyleka Moore. Ty brought me from a place of uncertainty to belief in myself. All with a nice smile and a great attitude. Now, since I had a few sessions, I worked with the other PT members. Kasey, Rachel, Shelissa, Travis never made me feel unimportant. They are all wonderful, hard working, and helpful. I have watched them work with patients in wheelchairs, amputees, and people like myself who needed assistance to walk. Everyone got the same care and great care from all of them. I spent some time with Travis and I have a lot good workouts under my belt with him. Just a good dude who is dedicated to his job. Closer to the end of my sessions, I was assigned to the newbie Carly. She is a perfect addition to the team and helped me make my final push out the door. She is just as wonderful and helpful as her team mates. The hidden gem in this place is Tim Nobles from O/T. I didn't need O/T but that didn't stop Tim from meeting me and my wife. I spent some time with Tim and some good memories were made with him just talking and having good laughs. His co-workers Kortnee and Amber were just as nice and courteous. This is a great place to rehab close to home and worthwhile. One day soon, I plan to go back and visit this fine group of human beings just to say hi and thank you! God bless you all.

This place is intolerable! We had our Nanny in for a few days and they couldn't get anything…read morecorrect!!! It is dirty and smelly. The staff could care less if you are a patient, resident, or a visitor; they will still ignore you just the same. The level of disorganized chaos was almost laughable, except that it was directly effecting my loved one. She slept on a broken bed for several days. We asked time and time again for it to be fixed or if we could even contract someone to come in a fix it. Every time we were told that a "ticket" had been placed for the order or "maintenance wasn't in". When a call was returned, they said that the bed had been swapped out. I asked Nanny if it had been done when I came to visit, she said no. I checked the lower part of the bed and it still wouldn't move. Her phone was to be hooked up two days after her check-in, it was a weekend so that was understandable. However, that day the phone was not hooked up so I questioned the nurse during my visit. "Maintenance is already gone" was all I got. The next day I was told that her stay was too short to justify and that there must have been a "misunderstanding". That is not even the worse of it!! She is on regular breathing treatments, every four hours. It is preventative care, NOT "as you need it". She didn't get most of her treatments and had episodes there that could have been prevented if the staff had been competent enough to relay messages or care for their patients. There were many other problems with lack of information, attitudes, and and even basic care taking. I could go on and on. The main point being, if you care for someone, do NOT take them here. Worst establishment regarding anything that I have ever stepped foot in.

What Can I say about this nursing home, it's reeks of urine and poop I went there one morning and…read morethe smell was so bad when I left from visiting my mom the scent remained on my clothes. The rooms are extremely small and dark even with the lights on, the room is very dim. The room has enough space to seat one comfortably and the privacy curtain is in the way, I found myself constantly moving the curtain from my view. the dressers and very old and worn out almost falling apart they have a cabinets in the room that's ceiling level (go figure). They didn't clean the rooms that well. The sink is in the bedroom instead of the bathroom. They don't have enough electrical sockets and the don't allow extension cords. They make you pay FULL price for cable ( $80.00) while other nursing homes charged $10.00 or was free. Rebecca is clueless she lied and said she was finding a window bed for my mom but instead my mom pictures were literally torn off the walls and bagged in a big garbage bag everything was ravished and thrown in bags without care instead of calling and telling the family that my mom bed will be given away if she wasn't back from the hospital within seven days. Stephanie isn't much better because when my sister was telling her about Rebecca she just made up excuses for her. They NEVER got my mom out of the bed the made up excuses she was getting end sores. One time while I was there an elderly woman kept yelling for water and the staff just ignored her, I went and got her a cup of ice water. My mom is now in another facility where she is getting out of the bed and sitting up. She looks much better and is more talkative. I have so much more negative things to say but my hands are getting tired but DONOT go to this nursing home if you love your family find somewhere else to go.

I have used Cantrell Center for physical therapy on two occasions. Both times were extremely…read morepositive. The first was for frozen shoulder (the other shoulder froze shortly thereafter). Thanks to the excellent care I received, I can now extend both arms straight upward. The second (most recent) time I used them, was after I had been to another PT center (Cantrell did not have an opening for the care I needed). (Note: the other PT center did a good job and would get 4-4.25 stars) but I still had a burning pain in my right hip area. Thankfully, Ms. Tassie Cantrell was able to squeeze me in to their very busy schedule. After only about 8-10 visits (and my faithfully doing the prescribed exercises at home) the pain had 95% left. When the pain returns every few months, I simply do the exercises for one or two days and it goes away again. The care and attention Tassie (Cantrell) and Braxton (Hurt) gave me was amazing. I want to be clear; they did not just give me the standard exercises I had been doing for the hip pain. They took the time and had the skill to identify both the root cause of the pain and more importantly to the success, a key secondary contributor. Tassie and Braxton then identified some nonstandard exercises that addressed both issues. Bottom line, Tassie Cantrell, Braxton Hurt and Cantrell Center Physical Therapy all get my sincere thanks and my highest recommendation. Cantrell Center would absolutely be my first choice for physical therapy. Even more so if the issue is difficult to address.

We arrived 30 min prior to appointment in which I'm glad we did quite a bit of paperwork. Hint hint arrive b/t 20 to 30 min of appointment. The lobby area is spacious. Seating arranged due to social distancing. Front desk associates greeted us with a smile and asked if we remembered to bring the work order. Thank goodness I remembered They will not accept any patients without it. We waited 15 min in the lobby before called back. This appointment was more so of a consultation. We discussed the issues he's having and possible treatments going forward. Tess is awesome! She thoroughly examined him. Very patient and attentive. She recommended 6wks of PT along with pool exercises. We are looking forward to working with her.
