    Wish I could go lower than a one star Very un professional…read moreworst customer service I've ever had , I checked into hotel at 07:00 was working nights, front desk Employee checked me and told me he would not charge me for checking in early because I was checking out at 3 pm the same day. My folio showed checking in Tuesday and checking out Wednesday , I received a knock on my door at 09:00 by housekeeping and another by the manager telling me that I'd have to check out at 11:00 or pay another day, that he person that checked me in had made a mistake, wow leas than 2 hrs sleep because they made a mistake and I'd have pay for another day if I stayed past 11:00 am , I told them them I wasn't going to pay for a mistake made by one of the employees that checked me in, I told them I wanted a refund and was going to check out the manager then told me because I stayed I. The room I had to pay and if I didn't pay for another night if I stayed past 11:00 she was going to call the police , very un professional for a hotel Chain La Quinta by Wyndham karnes city TX , I checked out before 11:00 and will never stay at this hotel again.

I will start…read moreby saying that this is my first Yelp review ever, but after my experience, I felt like I had to say something. I drove from Austin to Port A to play a live show, and I decided to drive back to Austin the same night. I thought I could make it back but I was too exhausted so I stopped at this place at 3:30am just to close my eyes for a couple hours. Let me first say, the person at the front desk that night was SUPER NICE and this review is not directed towards him. So I check in, take a quick shower and then I get ready to go to bed. I notice there are bloody stains all over the mattress and it looked disgusting. The room also smelled very musty. First thing that came to mind was potential bed bugs, so I decided I would just take a short nap in my truck and then drive the rest of the way that night. I go down to the lobby and the guy working that night was very apologetic. I politely asked for a refund. He said he doesn't have the authority to issue refunds and that I'll have to call back in the morning to get one. So I call in the morning and talk to Barron, the manager. He was very off putting on the phone. I told him the situation. He said he will call me back after he checks out the room. He calls me back 10 minutes later. He told me word for word "Yeah the mattress was pretty gross". I asked him if he would issue my $40 refund. THEN he says, "I can't issue you a refund because you took a shower in the room". I told him I'm just looking to get my $40 back and I would not leave any bad reviews and that I wasn't angry about the situation. He refuses. I then ask him if he would offer me a partial refund. He said word for word "You will see the refund credited back to your account IF I decide to offer a refund". I said "Will you let me know if you decide to issue me a refund?" He said "Sure". It has been almost a week and there has been no refund. If he is going to make a big deal over $40 bucks when he knows that his hotel was in the wrong with this situation, then I have no choice to leave a review and let others know how rude and unprofessional Barron was and how he did not handle this situation appropriately.
