Nice, quaint hotel. Looks like it's under new management.. They are getting this little place up to standards.. & with a little time it will be fabulous! A little modern style adds a lot to a small town..
First thing I noticed (besides the man standing in place behind the front desk) was all the little cute vases strategically place all about the lobby, business corner, sitting, & breakfast area, with popping colors of flowers.. And the smell was a very nice refreshing smell of CLEAN..
The break of silence with entertaining music played throughout the the building plus the Indoor Pool with Hot tub attached and a option of an outdoor patio was very nice.
The staff was so nice & happy to accommodate any needs we had at any time of the day or night..
Awesomely comfortable bed and pillows.. (a super Big plus with me)
Like any hotel there are things I would want done differently for my stay.. But I am a very picky traveler.. I mean if I'm going to place my personal items in their space, undress, shower, walk the floors bare foot, and place my head on a bed like I would at home.. Things Have to be super CLEAN for me to be satisfied.. No matter the location, name, the type, or star ratings of a Hotel.. I Have to Trust that it IS CLEAN!!
The down side of my stay was the breakfast of our Easter Sunday morning away from home. If they offer breakfast til 10 a.m.. Then there should be an Adequate Amount of fresh, appealing, appetizing, variety of foods TIL 10 A.M.!! My sweet Granny, Nora Mae, always said, it's Best to have just a little too much than Not Enough to satisfy the bellies of our people.. Wether they be the small ones or the big ones, the strangers or the family, they all should be satisfied & happy when they leave our house.. read more
