Bed by the window after my son had laid on it.
    Elle H.

By far the BEST hotel experience I've ever had & I've stayed at MANY in my lifetime! Sarah, the staff I spoke with, was the most attentive, friendly, amazing person in the world. She texted me to check on us, to asked if we needed anything, & truly went above and beyond the norm and really made us feel special. The room we had (2 Queen Beds) was superb, clean, comfortable, relaxing and the bed's felt like sleeping on a cloud and being hugged at the same time! The amenities are exceptional, (I personally favored the hot tub (whirlpool/Jacuzzi), clean rooms, LOVE the décor and I know I'm forgetting something, however, let's just say I don't want to have to leave tomorrow. Highly recommend & I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

This place is not bad. Even though there were hand prints on the headboard and trash in the pool. There were free cookies though!

The staff are always friendly and as accommodating as they an be. They just work there anyway. The last visit we had was horrible. IT was HOT that's day and had been raining off and on. The electricity went out causing the elevators not to work and we were on the 3rd floor. The AC was not working and no tv of course. It was miserable. Not sure why ANY hotel is operating without a backup generator especially in the texas hot months in Beeville no less. I love the central location and the ease of getting to and from the hotel while there. But the pop up "issues" with no back up plan is just not business friendly in my opinion. I can't bring myself to stay here again. It's too risky to pay for.

This place is about 1.5 hours away from Mustang Island State Park which was fine for us as its on our way back up to Austin. We arrived late and was relieved they had overnight check in. Its a pet friendly motel which suits our needs, too bad there was no mention of extra fees on the websites. We both slept comfortably and soundly - the air conditioner worked real well. All in all you get what you pay for. There are no extras - which we didn't need - it was a place to lay our heads down and get some rest before driving home. Pros: The bed was comfy and the room/bathroom clean. Convenient overnight check in. Good Air Conditioner. Cons: Dirty laundry/ice room and outdated ice machine. No mention of extra fee for dogs on Websites. No water pressure in the shower.

I guess I didn't meet their guest preference criteria. "Don't judge a book by it's cover" When I walked in, there were two women with a thick Indian accent. Whom were lounging in the lobby furniture..(EMPLOYEES) I asked one simple question.."Do you guys have vending machines?" They looked at each other and said "no" Problem is, they are surrounded by 4 other hotels. 4 higher quality hotels. Don't be so arrogant from the bottom of the barrel. Not a good look. I'm willing to pay extra, unfortunately customer service and quality staff are non-existent. I will not recommend.

Staff were nice answering my knock at the window to check in (family run hotel). Upon getting to my room, the room had no smell, was clean, and had clean linens. Up to date furnishings with a decent flat screen television. Water was hot, plenty of towels, and soaps were also provided. My stay was quiet and comfortable. I can't speak for the other people who reviewed this location. I was awaken by staff at 9 am for housekeeping and was approached at exactly 11 am by staff to checkout. The pool was closed permanently due to fees by the city for maintaining it per the owner. Would I return? Yes.

I read about flat screens in another review. Our room had an old tube tv. It does have a fridge and microwave in the room. The manager made sure to tell me that they had just put new mattresses in. And they are nice. The outside of the hotel is kind of run down. The pool is permanently closed and filled with dirt. But they still have the fence up and patio tables inside it, which is a little weird. There is also a bar in the front of the hotel which plays loud, thumping music that played late into the night. This would probably be less of an issue if you got a room in the back of the place. But of front where we stayed it was annoying. Overall this place isn't where you want to stay unless you plan to do nothing but sleep. Because it doesn't have much going on besides fairly nice beds.
