They also offer a ten punch card so you can try out the gym before you make a commitment. Those who workout at Elite seem to be connected members of the local community. I find that the clientele is friendly, respectful, and fitness-focused. Lastly, the gym is located in a very cute area of Western Springs. Within the last couple of weeks I have been harassed by the LaGrange Manager (I think her name is Kristen) telling me that I can no longer keep my account on freeze status, and that I must pay $69 for my final month's membership. I was charged $69 in May 2022, while my account was on freeze status, but was denied a refund. Therefore, I asked the manager to use this $69 charge to apply towards their final month's fee. I was told NO. I was told I could use the sessions, but not the fee. I explained that I am still injured and unable to use the sessions, and that I have been out of work for 2 years, but not consideration on their part. Payment is required, no matter what. I have since contacted the BBB, as well as the Corporate Office in Boca Raton. I am extremely disappointed in their customer service and lack of compassion.

That costed me $750 He told me I could "try it out." I agreed to one $250 month session. What he did not disclose was that this meant ongoing monthly charges and huge cancellation fees. If that had been explained, I would have never agreed. I work in sales this is not ethical and absolutely feels deceptive. When I asked for a refund after barely using sessions, I was flat-out refused and told not to bother contacting corporate. Huge red flag. On top of that, constant upselling, pressure tactics, and pushing guest passes after I said no. I do NOT recommend the personal training sessions at all. Read everything carefully and do not let them rush you. Once they lock you into a contract, they will not help you.
