If you wanna get down with some authentic Mexican food look no further. I would rather keep this place a secret because I don't want the lines getting out of control lol but that's selfish; However this place deserves its flowers!!! Owner & workers are always so friendly and the food keeps me coming back. Literally have vivid dreams about this place; I drift into a carb-coated dreamscape. Today I got my 3 Quesabirria tacos which is nothing new but I ordered the Agua Fresca - Pepino con limon which is my absolute go-to favorite. I literally wanted to melt into my seat upon drinking it. SO SO GOOD. FYI.....They are moving locations!!!

We decided to try two different lasagnas, the Classica and Americana. We enjoyed both of them but the Classica was our favorite. The garlic bread was disappointing. It just tasted off somehow like the butter was not right and there was hardly any garlic. We are both glad we tried it because it's been on our bucket list. The portion size was nice and the price was decent but we would rather enjoy our food at a table in a restaurant.

The picanha had a wide strip of beef that was good tho I thought it was a bit chewy. We also tried the loaded chicken fries and they were good. Because we ordered take out, the fries got soggy. We asked for sides of their sauces which included a chimichurri sauce and a sweet hot sauce; they were quite good. Don Eddie's is a food truck currently parked at a lot along Federal Highway and George Bush. Located on Federal Hwy & NE 14th street in a cozy corner with shaded picnic tables and plenty of parking space. My go to pies are La Americana and the Maradona. The ingredients are always fresh, the dough is fluffy and airy on the outside, thin in the center with light sauce and plenty of toppings! They are to die for! Another favorite is the classic Margherita; which they have on HH from 5-6pm at a discounted price. Besides pizza they offer a variety of soft drinks and sparkling water. Plus you can bring your own wine ;) The staff is incredibly friendly, and the owner is one of the most welcoming people you'll ever meet. He's always smiling and stays super engaged with customers, even posting updates online. I actually follow their Instagram just to keep up with what they're doing next. Highly recommend this spot. We invited this Food Truck vendor to cater our company event at Quiet Waters Park and I was glad…read morethey came. I have not tried their food before but apparently someone from our company did and recommended them. At the event, with our group around 50 or so people, they were able to create 3 different dishes for us to choose from. I noticed most people from our company picked their grilled cheese sandwich which I guess that's the dish they are known for. Since my stomach does not take cheese well, I decided to go with the chicken tenders. Overall everyone from my company seemed to enjoyed their food. My chicken tender was pretty good and I love their season fries. Most people picked the Fried Mac and Cheese as the sides and everyone said it was the bomb. Again, cheese and I don't go together well but I did managed to take one bite and it was delicious. Not sure how much these dishes go on their regular menu, but the food we tried were pretty good and hopefully we get to see them again in our next corporate outing so I can try some more different dishes.

Our server took our order and brought it to us at one of the outdoor tables. It came in styrofoam and plastic ware. I need to start remembering to bring my own real utensils . I think this is one of the best food trucks in the area. Having recently stayed in Austin, Texas with a vibrant food truck scene, I'm happy to see more and more of these popping up!
