My wife has skin eruptions from poison ivy, and was using a prescription cream to treat them. After a week, she was running out of the cream and went to The Little Clinic at Krogers on PIB in Suwanee to get a new prescription (it was Sunday and our doctor's office was closed). My wife also suggested that she might need a prednisone dose-pack, as suggested by a nurse friend of ours. The PA on duty, Jasmia Wallace, said she was putting the prescriptions in the computer and asked which pharmacy we used (CVS was my wife's answer, since we've used CVS for 8 years)). When I called our pharmacy to pick up the prescriptions, they said they had received no prescriptions. I called around and found that Ms Wallace had sent them to Kroger. When I went to pick them up, there was the prednisone but no cream. When my wife called today, the PA on duty called Ms Wallace and called my wife back, saying that Ms Wallace said she had clearly explained what she was doing and that she wasn't calling in the cream. Obviously, my wife disputed that claim, since that is why my wife went there in the first place. Ms. Wallace, who made two mistakes (missed drug, wrong pharmacy) was just covering herself, and the PA on duty basically called my wife a liar (bad thing to do when dealing with customers). The PA on duty today didn't even offer an apology. Obviously, this clinic is now off our list of choices for off-hours care, even though it is very convenient for us. read more
