When I finally reached out to request the refund that is required under Virginia State Bar rules, he tried to gaslight me by suggesting that I was the one who disappeared, despite the clear paper trail showing he had not responded or provided anything at all for over half a year. The combination of total non-communication, no completed agreement, and refusal to return unearned funds is blatantly unethical.
