I was recently pulled over for crossing "over a gore area" which is considered a traffic offense in Washington D.C. This traffic offense could of ruin my perfect driving record (+5). Thank you Mr. O'Brien, Nicole Purvis- the Dischley Law team for your services, support, and representing me in my defense and providing the best outcome possible. It got reduced to defective equipment and my driving record was untouched. The cop that pulled me over had video camera footage and this was the best outcome possible. I would highly recommend "Dischley Law." read more

I cannot express enough gratitude for the outstanding service I received from Dischley Law. I would absolutely and without hesitation recommend David Dischley for any criminal or traffic matter you may unfortunately encounter. I received nine solicitations for representation via mail from attorneys. Most in my opinion were poorly written and none impressive or compelling. I called several attorneys practicing in the jurisdiction of my case. Of the ones I was able to speak with, the fifth was David J. Dischley who was impressive and compelling. A couple decades ago I worked on Wall Street. During that time, I met a number of distinguished attorneys that were very well respected within the Manhattan legal community. Speaking with David, there was this indescribable but detectable notion that made him stand out. From that call with Mr. Dischley I was certain I was speaking with a respected and distinguished attorney.. He was sharp, knowledgeable and detail oriented. From that initial consultation to the resolution of my case, David's expertise and dedication were evident every step of the way. He approached my situation with compassion, understanding and unwavering determination. David's strategic thinking, thorough preparation and courtroom prowess were instrumental in achieving a favorable outcome for me. While handling my case I saw that David possesses a vast knowledge base and a keen eye for detail, which became evident as he was handling my case. His expertise, compassion and dedication truly set him apart. As with any law firm, the legal support staff is vital to the success of the attorneys and often the primary point of contact for clients. The level of communication and responsiveness from his Director of Operations, Ms. Nicole Purvis was exceptional! Any concerns or questions I had were promptly addressed, providing me with a sense of reassurance. Mr. Dischley working in unison with Ms. Purvis under his leadership made for a seamless client management I have ever witnessed. I am immensely grateful for David's work on my behalf. If you are seeking an exceptional attorney that has passion for the law and compassion for his clients then I urge you to look no further than Dischley Law. Many thanks David Matthew Marcelle Front Royal, VA read more

David and Nicole were great and helped ensure that a Virginia reckless driving charge left no trace on my record, which is exactly what I was hoping for. David was quick to respond to my inquiry, transparent about costs, and provided additional information on the outcome when requested. Nicole handled the admin side of things and was also super helpful and responsive. Overall, I'd recommend Dischley Law and would definitely use their services again (though hope not to, for obvious reasons ;-)). Thank you! read more

Mr. David went above and beyond to help me with my protective order. He was always responsive, caring, and very hands on in everything involving my case. Unquestionably would recommend and hire again if need! read more

Sean and David are two of the best attorneys I've ever seen period. Both were extremely confident from the get-go and kept that momentum up every single step of the way. I got the best possible outcome I could've asked for highly. Highly recommend this combo! They'll love stickin' it to the DA as much as you do. read more

Favorable outcome quickly for a serious traffic matter that involved 2 overlapping charges. I found Dischley Law as their website kept popping up with my various Google searches. After talking to 4 other law firms, I chose Dischley because 1) they gave me more info than the other 4 firms combined; 2) they knew I was in a time crunch and agreed to an initial meeting on a weekend; 3) their understanding of and relationships with the county I was charged in were unmatched. I could not be happier with the outcome. read more

David Dischley is a fantastic attorney! Did a great job for me! Highly recommended!

Dischley Law delivers. They are a highly professional, ethical law firm and from what I observed they are highly respected in the courtrooms where they practice. I'll keep telling and laughing at lawyer jokes because they're funny and there is no shortage of ethically challenged attorneys practicing law. Dischley Law is NOT that kind of practice. read more

Mr. David J. Dischley is very professional, honest, very good altitude, dedicated and highly respected lawyer and fortunately i was lucky enough to have him represent me in the court. He is easy to get in contact with and is available to you more than most attorney's would be in my opinion. He and his team constantly kept me updated, and he gave me good recommendations to help my case. When it was time for us to appear in court, I didn't even get the chance to walk to the front of the room before my case was dismissed! He took care of everything, and I couldn't be happier with the way he handled my situation. I will continue to hire him in the future should i need an attorney, and I highly recommend him to everyone I know. read more

I have never been in the position where I needed to hire a lawyer, that changed when I was stopped for a bogus shoplifting incident. Attorney Sean Sherlock was incredibly professional and understanding the entire time. No matter what time of day I reached out to him, he responded right away. What was probably going to take months of court visits, was wrapped up in one day with the expertise of Mr. Sherlock. If ever the need for a lawyer comes up, I will not hesitate to call Sean Sherlock at Dischley Law, PLLC. read more

I can't put into words the talent this man brings to the table. Words on a screen will not do him justice. When I say he is the most competent Lawyer you will ever meet, I mean it. I was charged with a DUI ten months ago and David has been with me the whole time. When I was initially charged, I was scared for my career and future endeavors, as a DUI charge will have a lasting negative impact on employment. I talked to many Lawyers in the area. One was unsure of my situation and gave me absolutely no confidence in my case when speaking to me. Another was very impatient with my questions and basically said my case could go either way in terms of a conviction. The first time I talked to David he calmed me down right away; his confidence over the phone gave me the reassurance that we actually had shot at fighting my DUI. I blew a .08 BAC and performed relatively well on the field sobriety test. We ended up going to court four different times over a period of ten months. To say he fought and stuck with me is an understatement, he was there until the end. Every time we went to court David would press harder to get me what I wanted. There were many times I was doubtful during this long and grueling process, but I knew David had what it took to get me to the end. With all the stories and reviews I read online, something told me this guy has what it takes, and he does. He ended up getting my DUI dropped to reckless driving with very little legal consequences. What's funny is that this was the original goal that David and I set out for. This is not common as many people know the state of Virginia takes drunk driving extremely serious. David is a United States Marine. You can see this play out in the courtroom as he fearlessly fights on your behalf. The passion he brings to the table, combined with his dedication, and knowledge of the law is a rarity to say the least. He is very professional in what he does, something that is expected, but when combined with all his other traits, it makes him and his work even more astounding. David knows the Law better than anyone I've ever met, and I have met many Lawyers, David sets the bar at a level few will ever achieve in his line of work. The knowledge of the law that he brings to the table is a constant reminder that you are in good hands. Throughout this process I had all types of questions. And I would call him many times a week. David would always answer the calls and he was happy to hear from me. He will connect with you on a level that you would think only possible from a close friend, and that's the thing, he does become your friend. If you want a Lawyer that can get you the best results, you need to hire David Dischley. He is a true man of character that will fight injustice. He brings dedication, passion, knowledge of the law, and overall perseverance to the table as a Lawyer. He has all the required abilities to get you what you want. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a Lawyer and will continue to refer him. It is because of him that my future won't be hindered from a DUI charge. read more
