They sent this in May, 2025. In March 2026, they sent an invoice as if I still owed the entire amount. I responded letting them know what had happened. In April I received a dunning letter saying they will turn over the invoice to collection and legal. I would stay away from Powerback!

We would be responsible for any small co-pays. My father's condition continued to deteriorate, and he was ultimately placed on hospice care in February 2026. In March we received a bill from Powerback and were surprised to see that Powerback had billed our insurance for ~36 treatments for $7,400 in under 2 months - or almost a treatment daily. In addition to this we received numerous notices from my insurance company that they were declining additional treatments requested by Powerback. Ultimately we were responsible for $620 of these charges which was very unexpected. As I told the Director of Rehabilitation Kate Johnson via phone, my experience with Powerback left me with a bad feeling in my stomach. I feel they were very quick to bill almost daily services but provided little or no feedback on what services they were providing and the expenses being incurred. More importantly we received almost no formal updates on my father's treatments and progress, other than a single comment in their patient portal and after I had visited with my father. It was not until we received a bill in March that we figured out what had been going on. While the staff were pleasant and their intentions might be good, I would strongly recommend anyone who plans to engage with Powerback to clearly define the treatment plan and measures of success up front. My experience is that Powerback was very very good at getting insurance to approve and then execute costly treatments but was less concerned about ensuring the treatments/communication were transparent, appropriate and keeping the family engaged.

At first I was very satisfied with the Mirmont Partial Hospitalization Program. Due to COVID, this…read moretook place online via video call, and despite not being in person, it was very interactive, helpful, and informative. I love the psycho-education program. However, when I began experiencing negative side-effects of the medications I was prescribed, Dr. Hoffman was pretty condescending and was adamant that I continue taking it- despite the fact that I was experiencing an allergic skin reaction. He told me to see my PCP if I was concerned, so I did, and the PCP told me to stop taking the medication immediately. Another medication I was prescribed was causing extreme mental and physical disorientation and distress, including inability to wake up in the morning (I slept through 5 alarms without reacting), slurred speech, stumbling and falling, bodily pain, and cloudy thoughts. Despite me telling Dr. Hoffman all that and that I did not feel safe taking it repeatedly, he was adamant that I continue to take it. "I will try any other medication, just not this- I don't feel safe taking it." I was subsequently discharged for "non-compliance". I would recommend the Mirmont program if you are not looking for any psychiatric services, but if you are looking for medication management, I would highly suggest going elsewhere if possible.

Mirmont Outpatient Broomall, PA…read more There is never a waiting list here and now I know why. Every patient looks the same to management, gets the same therapy, and the same diagnoses. It's a 'one size fits all' relaxation and coping skills partial program. They ignore information you provide. Partial programs are the highest level of care however Mirmont's therapists do not address specific needs or issues leading to child's partial hospitalization the way other partial programs do. Even the most basic outpatient therapy addresses specific needs. Management does not take ownership of any program or personnel issues raised whatsover and gives same rehearsed response to concerns raised.

My wife had open heart surgery which went flawlessly and was walking 3 days after the surgery with moderate to little effort. She entered your facility one week after surgery and your facility for the next three weeks managed cause her regression : She left the facility with serious fluid retention which was not addressed in a timely manner and also developed blood clots which was probably due to a nearly completely stationery exprerience. One hour a day in PT and 10 hours a day in a chair did not help.No one would help her walk. One of the PT staff actually said there was little corellation between these potential problems and exercize. At night she would ring the bell for help and no one would come. She would be relegated to sleeping in soiled adult depends.Furthermore if you asked to take late afternoon nap, They would want you to change into pajamas. so they could minimize any additional help except for dinner. They have certainly installed some very nice people including the Head Administrator . Unfortunately this does not guarantee good health care. This evaluation pertains to the third Rehab floor. Avoid this place.

I required a hoyer to get out of bed and was suffering from incontinence. Rasheeda would neglect me day after day. She'd leave me needing a diaper change for hours and would often make me late for therapy. She would complain about my needs for help and the fact that I couldn't get myself out of bed. She'd shame me for being incontinent and tell me I created too much work for her. My therapists would beg her for hours to get me out of bed in the morning. But I often didn't get help from her until after lunch. I was in tears at least once a day from the stress of her negligence. She also kept insisting on putting my hoyer sling on backwards. I'd tell her repeatedly that was dangerous and I could fall. She'd get an attitude with me. Finally another aid saw what she was doing and set her straight. Galina would not properly monitor my pain medication. This often resulted in her not ordering enough. I spent quite a few nights in excruciating pain because of this. When I tried to talk to her about it, she would laugh at me. I had a horrible experience at accelerate because of them. Don't put anyone you care about there.

My grandma was in there for 3 weeks and the first week they completely neglected her to the point where she got bed sores. The staff were rude, unprofessional, and lacked respect. I could tell how negligent they were because when i first went to visit her, the other people staying there were screaming "HELP" and "THEY DONT DO ANYTHING I NEED HELP"! Then they almost doubled her dosage of medication and thank god my grandma noticed and stopped them because if she didn't my grandma would have overdosed! On top of everything, her physical therapist was suppose to show up everyday to help her and only showed up when it was "convenient" and when they did show up they were disrespectful and aggressive (physically) with her and the other patients staying. My grandma said she witnessed someone crying one day and they didn't care at all! They just wanted to keep her for the money and had no ounce of care in their hearts to take care of her or do their job correctly. Worst environment i've ever been to and the entire staff are incapable of doing their job. PLEASE dont send your loved ones here!!!!
