I did not want my son to repeat "4 year old " school. St. David's also has an outdoor program called "K-Wild" which is an outdoor school 2 days a week before his regular school. Literally you would dress the kids for the climate and they would be outside. With both of these options I knew that St. David would be a perfect fit. Last year I had both kids at St. David's and quickly realized I found my place. This is my 3rd preschool I have attended and by far the most warm, loving and nurturing. The community at St. David's is amazing. My only wish is that I had started there earlier. That extra year was the best decision ever and if you are ever on the fence about doing it....DO IT. You won't regret it!

I love how Ms. Eugenia shows me the best way to transition my son into the new environment and comforts him when I drop him off. He still cries but I can see improvement. They also often tell me about his day when I run into them for pick up and tell me little stories about him with enthusiasm. You can tell they really care! The new director Emily, is always attentive and knows how to run the show. She's hands on when there are even minor issues, like wi-fi (nothing serious), and notifies parents immediately. Very comforting! Also Ms. Jada was recently hired as assistant director who is nice as can be; always smiling and responsive to the parents and children. If I had to nit pick, I'd say the food is not the healthiest. It very processed and high in sugar. But if you talk to the teachers you can make accommodations.

She has excelled in Reading, Writing, Math, Science and now being in public school, is far and ahead of other students in her class. I believe the environment and teachers she previously had in Kindergarten made a big difference in her confidence, her ability to work well with others and her personality overall. I can confidently say if the Goddard School had a 1st grade program we would have kept her in the same school. When we first enrolled our daughter at one year old we were focused on the nurturing and loving environment, and we found just that and more at the Goddard School. As our daughter moved to the preschool and pre-k we realized our need for private kindergarten. We discovered that the Goddard School is the only accredited school in the area. This adds to all the amazing academics that made us continue to choose Goddard Schools over daycares in the area. We love that we have seen the consistency in the staff, many of them have been here since before we started three years ago. We highly recommend the Goddard School of Leesburg.

When Kiddie Academy closed due to landlord issues, we followed Hasna and her team without any hesitation. During the transition, I met with Madhu (owner) a few times and she was welcoming, understanding, and compassionate about the abrupt changes. My daughter is in the Panda class with Shannon and Gana. Shannon is one of the warmest souls I've met. Gana, who was part of the KA staff, cares for my daughter in such a way that my L recognizes it, and always goes to her at drop off, and is sitting on her lap at pick up! There is a strong emphasis on learning- but learning through play. Physical movement, art skills, sharing, books, dramatic play. I'm at such great peace leaving my daughter in the care of this wonderful staff!
