Mrs. Cartegena was the young infant teacher and boy, did she blow me away. She is so attentive and caring, my boy just loves her. We had a great open line of communication, I always knew what was going on with the son and when he was reaching new milestones. Then, he moved to the older infant class with Ms. Hernandez. Another phenomenal teacher! Loving, caring, attentive, and great communication. I never felt uneasy about my child being in the care of either of these teachers, they truly are amazing and love what they do. Even to this day, my baby is now almost 2 and as soon as he sees Mrs. Cartagena or Ms. Hernandez, he lights up! He knows they adore him. Quite honestly, he loves them just as much as they love him. All of the teachers are very welcoming and happy, we are always greeted with a smile

They didn't tell me before implementing. Later found out from one of the teachers that daughter confined to crib. Room was way too small for the amount of infants and very little stimulation. So I think she was acting out. Administration was very in compassionate about the situation. Now my daughter is thriving at another preschool.

Often the kids are yelling and screaming and running around with little supervision. My child was kicked by another student and bullied. The last straw was when my child had an asthma attack and the school called to have me pick them up or bring medication. I informed them that I had an inhaler onsite along with the medical form. The assistant director never registered my child's medical information in the system so no one at the daycare was aware of the child's medication being available for them. Staff and leadership were dismissive and lacking professionalism. Most incidents were never reported or documented leading to a lack of transparency and accountability.

Apparently he was kicked out because he opened the door leading from his classroom to the playground and strayed outside. I asked and was told that the door cannot be locked from the inside the classroom to prevent kids from straying into the playground. Apparently the class is too large that their staff cannot stop or prevent 3 year olds from straying outside. They exercised zero patience for a 3 year old autistic child and kicked him out. I will be filing a discrimination complaint with the proper authorities because I feel like the poor kid is being discriminated against for his disability. So buyer beware.

We absolutely LOVE this Montessori! Our family has been with KSMS for about 6 years now (with a few…read moreyears off in between) and it has always been an amazing little school. When our older 2 children (now ages 10 and 9) attended this school, I knew that one day our younger children would have to attend as well. Now, our 2 year old is enrolled and he LOVES it just as much as his older siblings did and even had one of their old teachers. The staff is kind and patient and you get that "welcome to our family" feel when you enter. We are currently in the process of having to search for a new Montessori, as we are planning a move down the the Pearland/Friendswood area next Summer to be closer our family and for work. The search for another Montessori has been very heartbreaking thus far, as the handful of schools that we have looked at don't give us that "feeling" we got when we found KSMS. Immediately we knew that KSMS was one of the good ones and we haven't found one that is comparable to it down in that area yet. As crazy as it may seem to some, we have seriously considered making the 1hr commute up/down to Spring from Pearland so that our son can continue attending KSMS and eventually for his younger sibling when the day comes. That's how good of a school KSMS is and that's how high of a standard they have set for us to compare other schools to. My husband and I have worked with children ourselves for many years, and you can tell when someone genuinely likes and understands kids; they understand kids and they LOVE them!

My son started first and just grew so confident and learned so many things from this school. My daughter started after and she is getting this blossoming personality and just lights up when she sees her teachers. The owners and front office staff are the best humans and are willing to work with you. The best communication. This will always be the "the one that got away". Wish I could bring this school with me in my move. I want thank everyone at Klein-Spring Montessori for every single minute. You have been one family to me and we will miss you.

She loves school more than anything, to have your child beg to go to school, happy every morning is priceless. She grew to be a confident and kind girl and I am positive the school had an immense impact on this. I always felt heard, communication with leadership as well as teachers have been amazing. The performances always blow my mind and last years robotic show for first grade surpassed my expectations. Truly recommend.

Then, were so impressed with their handling of the pandemic in 2020 (we experienced no "covid learning loss"), it was an easy decision to stay on for the primary grades. And we have not been disappointed! We continue to have truly great teachers, that you can actually interact with every day at drop off and pickup and build relationships with them. I highly encourage anyone who is interested to schedule a tour or go to one of the open houses. Not only is it a charming environment, you will be amazed at how much more they manage to cover than just the basics. There is a focus on fine arts and performances, which are so great for confidence building. But they also get into robotics, go on cool field trips, and seem to have more fun events and activities than you might get in public school. The summer camp sessions are great, too! We'll be very sad to move on after 4th grade!
