We had a great open line of communication, I always knew what was going on with the son and when he was reaching new milestones. Then, he moved to the older infant class with Ms. Hernandez. Another phenomenal teacher! Loving, caring, attentive, and great communication. I never felt uneasy about my child being in the care of either of these teachers, they truly are amazing and love what they do. Even to this day, my baby is now almost 2 and as soon as he sees Mrs. Cartagena or Ms. Hernandez, he lights up! He knows they adore him. Quite honestly, he loves them just as much as they love him. All of the teachers are very welcoming and happy, we are always greeted with a smile

They didn't tell me before implementing. Later found out from one of the teachers that daughter confined to crib. Room was way too small for the amount of infants and very little stimulation. So I think she was acting out. Administration was very in compassionate about the situation. Now my daughter is thriving at another preschool.

The assistant director never registered my child's medical information in the system so no one at the daycare was aware of the child's medication being available for them. Staff and leadership were dismissive and lacking professionalism. Most incidents were never reported or documented leading to a lack of transparency and accountability.

Apparently the class is too large that their staff cannot stop or prevent 3 year olds from straying outside. They exercised zero patience for a 3 year old autistic child and kicked him out. I will be filing a discrimination complaint with the proper authorities because I feel like the poor kid is being discriminated against for his disability. So buyer beware.

We are currently in the process of having to search for a new Montessori, as we are planning a move down the the Pearland/Friendswood area next Summer to be closer our family and for work. The search for another Montessori has been very heartbreaking thus far, as the handful of schools that we have looked at don't give us that "feeling" we got when we found KSMS. Immediately we knew that KSMS was one of the good ones and we haven't found one that is comparable to it down in that area yet. As crazy as it may seem to some, we have seriously considered making the 1hr commute up/down to Spring from Pearland so that our son can continue attending KSMS and eventually for his younger sibling when the day comes. That's how good of a school KSMS is and that's how high of a standard they have set for us to compare other schools to. My husband and I have worked with children ourselves for many years, and you can tell when someone genuinely likes and understands kids; they understand kids and they LOVE them!

We quickly switched to Goddard and he was a completely different child. He was happy to go to school. He loved his teacher and all the other staff there. Unfortunately, with Covid, we took a hiatus for a few months with all the uncertainty. We are happy to report that we are back and still loving it here. I feel safe having my son go to school here. They have been keeping up with the Covid standards and test all their employees monthly. Everyone who enters the building and goes beyond the lobby receives a temperature screening and the children are reminded to wash their hands constantly. I am very pleased and will continue to have my child go to school here as long as possible.

Akai inspected the entire unit and indicated the issue was the defroster in the freezer wasn't working and needed to be replaced. He quoted me what I thought was a very fair price but before I could say "Shut up and take my money!" he added that when he had unplugged the unit & plugged it back in, when starting up again the compressor sounded a bit suspicious. Thus he indicated I could go ahead and pay him to install a new defroster in the freezer, but it is only a matter of time before the compressor craps out and then replacing it would be over $1,000 and not worth it. So get this....he proposes that I defrost it the old school way by unplugging it, opening both the freezer & fridge doors, placing towels in front of the unit, and allowing all of the ice to melt and then just mop up all the water with towels and my wet vac and that would solve the problem for now. And in a few months when the issue occurs again I can just repeat the old school defrosting method until the compressor finally goes kaput, and then get a brand new refrigerator. Sure enough, I proceeded to do exactly what he recommended and lo and behold the fridge & freezer started working properly again. And I am all too happy to repeat every few months to squeeze every last bit of life from this old fridge until I have to get a new one. Akai could have very easily kept quiet about the compressor sounding sketchy and that it could fail in 3 weeks, 3 months, or 3 years and gotten a nice service order for replacing the defroster since he had already devoted the valuable time & effort to come to my house. However, he instead chose to be completely honest and forthcoming which is not as common as it should be and is very appreciated. I have saved his contact info and the next time I have any issues with any appliances he will be the technician I call. Knowledge and experience is great and there are a lot of qualified & knowledgeable appliance repair companies out there. However, also possessing honesty and integrity is why I strongly recommend Akai for any appliance repair issues.

"The Learning Experience" Our Experience (July 11th - August 9th, 2023) We enrolled our 23-month-old daughter at The Learning Experience in July 2023. While the initial impression was positive, we encountered several concerning incidents during our time there. * Classroom Placement: Our daughter, who rarely cried, was placed in a classroom for 2.5-3 year olds based solely on physical appearance. This may not have been the most age-appropriate environment for her social development. * Unauthorized Use of Pacifier: In the second week, we received a photo showing our daughter with a pacifier,which she had stopped using for a year. We were not informed about this beforehand. * Hygiene Concerns: Our daughter came home twice with a dirty diaper and diaper rash, suggesting inadequate diaper changes. * Unexplained Bruises: We observed unexplained bruises on our daughter's legs on pick-up one day. The daycare staff could not provide an explanation. * Reporting Concerns: We reported the bruises and our concerns to the daycare administration, but did not receive a satisfactory response. We ultimately reported the incident to the authorities. Aftermath: Following the incident, we chose to keep our daughter home with family support. We understand that CPS and law enforcement investigations can take time, but did not feel comfortable allowing our daughter to return. Choosing a Daycare: We share this experience to help other parents make informed decisions about childcare. I recently moved from Dallas, TX and toured several daycares before choosing TLE. As a first-time parent sending my baby to daycare for the first time, my expectations were honestly sky-high. Somehow, TLE has exceeded all of them! I normally don't post reviews, but after several months here, my daughter is truly thriving. Her naps used to be a complete mess, and now she consistently sleeps for two hours at TLE and comes home happy and well-rested. She's tried so many new foods, interacted with other children, and most importantly, she's learned to feel comfortable and secure even when we're not around all the time. The staff and facility is great! My daughter only goes after school but looks forward to her time there daily. She adores her the teacher, Miss Kat, and I love her too! You can tell she really enjoys her job. Miss Kat also always takes the time to update the parents on anything we should be aware of as we pick them up. And you can tell there is a lot of communication between the teachers and administrative staff as well which means a lot to me. In my son's rooms there was constant turn over. He started there at 8 months and we left right…read morebefore his 2nd birthday. Just when we would get use to a teacher they would be gone. But there were times that every two weeks there were different teachers in the room. One lasted 1 day because the state came and did a background check on the employees and for some reason this new girl was released that day! The last straw was when he was moved up with his friends to the next classroom. I was nervous about this change because he finally had 2 teachers that lasted a month! But I was promised (by the director) the teacher had been there for a long time and was great. So we were hopeful. So in the new class room we were not there long at all, when an accident happened and...it is now 6 months from when it happened and he still has a scar. The kids were playing outside and when they lined up to go in, they said he ran off, tripped and his face went into the iron fence and his teeth through his lip and into a board as he landed face down on the ground. If you know my child (who is not perfect but very shy) this is not his nature! I asked the lead teacher what happened and she flippantly says she doesn't know....HE was covered in blood and she does not know! I was in shock, grabbed my child and left! The next day I go to see the director who was not there when this happened and she tells me that the lead teacher didn't show up to work and quit...that screams something is wrong! She then calls in the other teacher (another new hire) what happened and the above story is what I got. She said she was busy with another student but saw it happen. I ask her what she is going to do to ensure my childs safety (as he has also been bitten in the new class just the day before....deep bite through a sweater and his skin was broken on his back) and again, I am given the speech to give them more time.....NO I was done! I was calm, over and over again as he was bitten (skin broken) because new teachers were not keeping kids engaged. I believe when we left, the number of times he was bitten was 8 and he didn't bite back. The teacher told me they had a kid who loved to bite, but there was not a bite policy in place other than they would talk to the parents. And the teacher in the classroom told me that child was a problem as he bit 3 kids on the last day we were there. The several times I did drop ins, they were not following curriculum! I know I should like a helicopter mom, but when your child keeps getting injured.... you start to take notice quickly! And this is how I found out about a teacher putting soap in a child mouth.....but the director/owner can spin a story to place blame on everyone but them. I moved my child to another school (United Methodist in Montgomery) after this and at 6 months now with the new school....no injuries! He has had the same teachers the entire time and he has learned so much.....verses Primrose where he was not because they were constantly training new teachers. I regret that I allowed my child to stay there as long as I did!

I was so nervous leaving my daughter at daycare when she was 3 months old and I had to go back to work, but she's now 6 months old and thriving here. The kids are not only learning social skills, the teachers have lesson plans. They are truly preparing your child for school. We get weekly "snapshots" of our kids' activities from the week every Friday. They include photos and brief statements on what the kids are working on that week. Thanksgiving they had a special luncheon prepared for the parents and kids, and the director, Joann, said such heartfelt remarks, you just know they love our kids. They also put together the most adorable Christmas show for the parents to enjoy. We are excited for our son's future with this awesome "school"!
