The food is prepared in house as opposed to other daycares who give frozen foods. I was assured my toddler will be getting fresh food with variety and she will be exposed to lot of cuisines. Activity wise also they teach them lot of things and i was surprised to see my toddler's vocabulary had suddenly increased and she could count, tell colors apart and alphabets.. I am happy with the move.. only con i would say the price changed steeply from 1 year to other and i wish the prices stay under 500 per week

Over the past 13 months she has bonded so well with her teachers and her peers and she has mastered many skills (both verbal and physical) along the way. The center's food menu has a great variety and, honestly, I feel less stressed not to have to worry about packing her lunch and subsequently she has learned not to be a picky eater at all. With both of us having 10+ hour work days including our commutes, it truly gives us a peace of mind knowing that our daughter is in good hands. The facility is very clean, convenient location for commuters, and the teachers are very knowledgeable. I'd recommend this facility to any parent looking for childcare.

I couldn't be happier with my decision to enroll him in The Goddard School. The Goddard School is a modern preschool with all of the bells and whistles--cutting-edge curriculum, dynamic educators, state-of-the-art security-- with a huge heart. That's a key differentiator here...heart. It's what was sorely lacking at the other preschool my son attended. The owner, director, and support staff truly care about each and every child. When I drop my son off every morning, he can't wait to get to his classroom to play with the interactive toys, explore the sensory tables, and read in the cozy book nooks (he loves bringing in books from home to share with his class; this school does a beautiful job of promoting a lifetime love of reading). The outdoor play area is always a hit...as is pizza day (the school orders pizza for the kids on Thursdays and he loves it!). The facility is clean and inviting. I know my son has support, guidance, and materials he needs to thrive in Kindergarten at The Goddard School, but that's not all. He's welcomed with open arms; he's challenged academically; he's encouraged to believe in himself; he's well cared for; he's celebrated for his successes. He smiles widely when I ask him about his day...and I am often surprised when he tells me the Spanish word for something out of nowhere, or shows me a new yoga pose. I didn't teach him those things...his teachers did. I recommend The Goddard School without hesitation or reservation. Enrolling my child was one of the best decisions I have made as a mom.

My experience with Kindercare Learning Center of Milford has been a complete and utter disaster,…read moremarked by a shocking level of negligence and mismanagement. I feel compelled to share my grievances to protect other parents from the nightmarish ordeal I endured. I will summarize my issues first, and if you want, you can continue reading below to get more details. 1. Due to their negligence, they burned my son with cleaning chemicals, sending him and other children to the emergency room. 2. Due to their negligence, they dislocated my daughter's arm, giving her a nursemaid elbow injury and sending her to urgent care. 3. Due to their negligence, they gave milk to my daughter, with a lethal milk allergy. This happened several times. 4. Due to mismanagement, they are constantly understaffed and are forced to be closed. I will be referencing several incidents that are on record with the state. You can review these incidents and investigations by visiting this link on the Mass.gov website. Direct Link to Kindercare's page on Mass.Gov: https://eeclead.my.site.com/apex/eec_childcaresearchproviderdetail?id=001j000000qhjjcAAA Using the above link, you can see that in the past 3 years, there have been EIGHT investigations on the center. All eight had non-compliances identified, and one involved substantiated child abuse and/or neglect. There are SEVERAL daycare centers in Milford and the surrounding towns that have zero investigations. I suggest you go to those instead. Chemical Burns: On 11/22/2022, Kindercare proved themselves dangerously negligent when my son suffered burns from cleaning chemicals under their care. Not only did they expose him to chemicals, they drastically underplayed the severity of the chemicals, causing burns to my child's face. My son was not the worst impacted by this. I know other children were harmed much worse, and legal action was taken. You can read about this incident yourself via the link I shared above. Dislocated Arm: In yet another display of negligence, my daughter's teacher dislocated my daughter's arm, specifically a nursemaid elbow injury, due to the staff not being adequately trained on handling and caring for children. Such preventable injuries reveal a profound lack of attention and competency. Lethal Allergy Mismanagement: Kindercare showed a shocking disregard for my daughter's well-being by giving her milk repeatedly, despite being fully aware of her life-threatening milk allergy. My daughter's doctor even wrote the Kindercare director a letter explaining the seriousness of my daughter's allergy. This flagrant negligence endangered her life and highlighted a dangerous lack of understanding and adherence to basic health protocols. Chronic Understaffing and Closure: The mismanagement at Kindercare is evident in their chronic understaffing issues, leading to frequent closures. This instability disrupts the lives of parents and puts me at risk of losing my job several times. As well as the four main issues, there have been several annoying more minor concerns. Such as my potty-training daughter coming home with a messy bottom because no teacher helped wipe her. There have also been strange issues concerning her food allergies. I've been asked several times, "Can your daughter eat this?" and a teacher will hand me a cookie or cracker. I can not tell what is in a cookie or cracker by simply looking at the cookie or cracker. The teachers show a lack of understanding that allergy information is listed on the LABEL ON THE BOX THAT THE FOOD COMES IN, not on the cookie itself. Also, as of writing this, eight teachers have quit in the past two months, and we've had four directors in the past three years. Clearly, a management or pay problem trickles down and causes many of these issues. In summary, my experience at Kindercare was nothing short of a nightmare. Their negligence resulted in chemical burns, dislocated elbows, and a life-threatening allergen exposure. Furthermore, their chronic understaffing and frequent closures indicate a lack of proper management and organizational capabilities. I strongly advise parents to seek out a daycare center that prioritizes professionalism, competence, and the safety of the children in their care. If you aren't sure where to start, use the state website https://childcare.mass.gov/findchildcare to find daycares close to you and find one that has had few to no investigations against them. I wish I had known about that website before enrolling my kids at Kindercare.

The teachers are really attentive and at the end of the day the kids at all different ages get to interact with each other in their central area/atrium. The environment reminds me of my childhood when I got to play with cousins who are older and younger than me. All the teachers are very enthusiastic with the children's learning and I love how they always do art activities. They have plenty of room for kids to run around and plenty of toys (sensory, interactive and fun). Sometimes I pop in the middle of the day to say hi! and I see the teachers reading books to the kids (even to the babies!). They provide breakfast, snacks and drinks but you have to pack your own kid's lunch. They provide the baby wipes but you have to provide your own diapers and butt cream. BYO sunblock as well (and whatever other lotion you want them to slather on your child). They also brush your kid's teeth which is pretty cool. BYO sleeping mat/bag for toddlers but they do have cribs for the crawlers and babies. They have a long waiting list so I highly recommend getting your child's name in the list right away. I highly recommend them and they are also highly recommended by other moms in town (that's how I found out about them).

With early dropoff it is convenient for those of us who like to get to work early, and leave a little early. The new facility is excellent, being very bright and sunny, with plenty of space in each classroom, a large common area for kids to interact, and a sizable outdoor area. The common area is a great feature for families with multiple children enrolled, as it provides an opportunity for siblings to interact which isn't typical of center-based care. This area also allows interaction between the children and other teachers, which helps to facilitate transitions between classrooms. The staff is also very supportive of parent preferences, including special food brought from home and cloth diapers.
