Our 2nd daughter started shortly after she was born in 2014 and is still there in a pre-K class. Our experience here has been amazing. Our older daughter never complained about going to school, she made lots friends, some of whom she continues to see outside of LGA and finished kindergarten knowing how to read and fully prepared for 1st grade in public school. Our younger daughter looks forward to going school every day and is having similar experience that her sister had. Through the years that we have been coming to LGA, we have gotten to know the owner/director, Miss Angela, and several of the teachers and administrative staff. It is clearly no accident that LGA is as successful as it is. Miss Angela is always there and takes a very hands on approach with every aspect of the school. Any time we have had a problem or concern, Miss Angela was extremely attentive and responsive in addressing our needs. All of the teachers that both of our girls have had took a genuine interest in their well being. They greet the children with a welcoming smile in the morning and they stay on top of their game in meeting the children's needs throughout the day. The administrative staff is courteous and professional and come across as warm and caring to the children - and they seem to know every child's name...very impressive.

Keeping that in mind we purchased the flexi pass at tutor time edison so that we could acclimatize our kid to the daycare. The flexi pass was purchased for one week during the holiday season since we wanted to start the full time care from new year and we thought we'll have the kid spend a few hours daily and pick him up so that he gradually adjusts. Day 1 and we get a call from The director within an hour saying your kid is screaming and he might wake up the other kids so we have him at the reception, pick him up. I mean c'mmon u r trained teachers and thats ur job. He is a kid after all. He is not causing any harm or damage that u r calling me to pick him up within 50 mins ! If u cant handle the kid then wats the point of running a child care facility. Needless to say i knew they were incompetent and asked for my money back,to which they totally refused! Now if ur teachers refuse to look after my kid why in God's name shud i pay u for the remaining days???! This place is such a scam! Pls invest some time in finding a better place for ur child .

We have nothing but amazing memories from this school, and I will truly miss it now that he has aged out. All staff is hands on and they really get to know your child. When I say all staff, I mean even teachers and co-teachers from other classrooms knew my son by name and recognized his father and I as well. I could go up to any teacher or office personnel and ask them about my son and they would have a lot to say; the school feels like it's own nurturing community, with the children's wellbeing always at the forefront. I never had any doubts as to my son's safety at this school, and to go the extra mile where safety is concerned, they offer camera access to your child's classroom and the doors can only be opened by approved personnel and parents. The learning environment is both nurturing and effective. My son was able to begin reading and writing by the end of pre-k! The classroom is set up so that the children can go their own pace and the teachers monitor them and gently push them when necessary. They have what is called the "family style" classroom which allows the younger children to look up to and learn from older children, and allows the older children to feel a sense of accomplishment and responsibility as well as leadership. My son is an only child so having older children guide him when he was little and then being able to be the leader when he was in Kindergarten was so rewarding in ways that went beyond the classroom. I adore all of the staff and teachers there. For his pre-k years he was with Ms. Kenny who is no longer there but really did a great job with setting his foundation for learning. For kinder year he went to Mrs. Mohan's class, and she and her co-teachers really made sure to make the transition as smooth as possible for him. They also made sure to keep him on target for his kindergarten goals, as did Mrs. Shetty, his reading group teacher. Mrs. Castillo and Mrs. Caraballo (from the office) are always there with a friendly smile and happy to help with any questions or concerns. There are also surveys that are sent out a few times a year so that they can receive feedback to continue improving. I do surveys for businesses often and usually it takes years to see changes, if you see them at all, but each year Apple expanded their offerings and really seemed to take in the feedback with grace, acceptance, and action. Recently they added after school offerings like Karate and Zumba. As a working parent it was nice to know my child had something to look forward to in after care some days. There is also an all new outdoor classroom/playground set up. Apple was a little more costly than some of the other pre-k schools we looked at, but I feel we really got what we paid for, our son has shown so much growth and development and we know he was well taken care of there. We loved it so much, we decided to stay for Kindergarten year which was not in our original plans but we found it was worth every penny!

And it also doesn't hurt that he is also working 2-3 grade levels ahead of children his age. Thank you to Ms. Arevalo and Ms. Shah for an awesome foundation when he was so little and to Mrs. Rodriguez and her team for making it all come full circle the last two years. You all amaze me everyday! Special thank you to the directors who give nothing less then all they have to our schools.

Jump has immediately offered just that. She is welcomed with joy and enthusiasm every single day and I've never once questioned whether my daughter is in good hands or not. While I'm not discounting the negative reviews you may find here, I think an account of a negative experience with a specific teacher shouldn't hinder you from finding out more about Jump!

I sent my two daughters to this school. They were in pre-school 2.5 and 3. The first thing that…read moremade me feel something was wrong was the abnormally high teacher turnover (7 different teachers in less than a year). Granted this was during COVID but none of the other schools had such a high turnover. It was also messy, disorganized and their communication was horrible. I think could have lived with all that. However, my 3 year old came home with a black eye one day. She told me that "Ms Yin Li kicked her in the face with her foot because she was angry that she would not fall asleep during nap time". When I called the school the next day to ask what happened, the principal, owner and other staff, tried to give me 100 theories as to what could have happened to her (she must have bumped herself against the cot, she probably hit herself against the bench because kids fight for the red bench, it happened outside of school, etc) instead of focusing on what my child was saying, that the teacher kicked her because she wouldn't nap. I tried to have the school press charges against Yin Li, but she also had already resigned and they told me it was "too late" (maybe 5 weeks had passed since the incident) so I decided to file a complaint with the state's Department of Children and Families (which came back inconclusive but at least I reported and recorded the incident). Please don't send your kids to this place, there are other much better schools in the area. I met up with one of the parents a few weeks ago and about 80% of the kids moved on to other schools as well.

He cried most mornings before school and begged us not to go. We later saw Ms. Laisha and Ms. Wessal yelling at toddlers--aggressive, loud, and completely inappropriate. One of them even physically shoved our son in front of us. We raised our concerns with the franchise owners, Kinjal Parekh and Tina Patel, and were told we were "too picky." Their response wasn't to investigate or support our child--it was to suggest we leave. The front office staff, Ms. Ada and Ms. Kathryn, offered vague responses and no follow-through. We asked for documentation and staff qualifications and were met with deflection or silence. Other parents have had similar experiences--and some were asked to sign nondisclosure agreements. That should alarm anyone considering this school. We filed a complaint with the state and removed our child immediately. He still talks about the fear he felt in that classroom. This school failed our family. Please think twice before sending your child here.
