I really cannot say enough wonderful things about TLE Edison. The most wonderful of all, however, is the fact that my daughter loves it here. That says more to me than anything else. She started here in the Toddlers class when she was two years old. She's now four and in pre-school and will definitely stay here for kindergarten. When parents ask me about the school I tell them nothing else in the area comes close academically or in the quality of care. When I see her hug her teachers at the end of her day... and then hug other teachers that she used to have as she leaves the school ... I'm convinced each day that I made the right choice two years ago. We all know how gut-wrenching it can be to choose a place that you hope will take wonderful care of your child. I can now say I'm so glad I chose TLE Edison above the many other day cares I visited. If there's a concern, the managers make sure, first and foremost, that the solution is in the best interest of my child... and it's NOT a cookie-cutter approach. They take the time to see what my child needs in her growth and development and it's implemented. They've never made me feel as if any concern was too trivial. When we've had any incidents with any of the teachers they speak with the teacher immediately and hold a meeting or multiple meetings if that's what the parent requests, which has happened in our case. My daughter started learning Spanish at TLE Edison as soon as she started at the school. She's now learning Mandarin, which she loves. They do Yoga as part of the enrichment program and she tries to teach me some of the positions, which is the cutest thing ever! If I had any criticism it would be that I absolutely miss the very first academy director they had and I wish they could find someone just like her again. They haven't. Even still, my daughter's academic and social growth hasn't been affected by who's been in place as academy director, so that isn't a negative. Overall... my daughter's love for the teachers here is what makes all the difference. There is a warmth and kindness from the teachers and staff here that money can't buy. We have been very happy at TLE Edison over the past year. We chose TLE after visiting 6 other preschools. The owners, Manny and Shae, are the most dedicated and hands-on people you will ever meet. They made us feel comfortable that they were always making decisions in the best interests of the children. Their positive attitude is infectious. The staff always greets you with a smile and calls you by your name. They are open to new ideas and always seem to promote growth within their company. We liked TLE because of the balance between education and play. They have a great curriculum that includes world languages, but they also have an amazing indoor play area. Other schools didn't have this, and given the big snow storm we recently had, I'm really happy that the children have a fun place to play when they can't go outside. The building layout was designed perfectly as a preschool, rather than being thrown into an existing structure. It is also extremely clean. We have experienced the summer camp as well as the toddler and preschool programs. The camp was so much fun -- splash days, guest presenters, live animal presentations, even a pony ride. The school programs are always led by well-trained, caring, happy, and energetic teachers who made us feel very comfortable leaving our child with them. My wife and I spend a lot of time (some would say obsessive) researching decisions like this. If we had it to do all over again, we would still choose TLE Edison. read more

The Learning Experience in Edison is the best daycare center in the area. The owners, management and teachers/staff are very friendly, warm and understanding, all on the same page (their communication with each other is impeccable), and have an amazing curriculum for early learning. When I first researched all of the daycare centers in the area for my 14 month old son, The Learning Experience in Edison stuck out and was by far the cleanest, most organized, and accommodating school I visited. Their curriculum was impressive, and exposed my son to academic learning early on, which I appreciated. He's now just turned 5 and I am continually impressed with how much he learns. I am a firm believer in cultivating children's education so long as they are interested, and they're like sponges in the first five years of their lives. My daughter has also started going to the school this past year around the same age and they both thoroughly enjoy going to school every day; they often don't want to leave when I pick them up at the end of the day. The owners and management have a passion for continually improving the school and in providing the best program out there, so I appreciate that they stay up-to-date with the latest trends in education to offer it to the children. My son was enrolled at TLE from when he was 4 months old until this summer when he was almost 3.I credit TLE for helping my son develop and learn as quickly as he did. During our initial tour, we were told they taught the kids sign language. I was skeptical, but was proven wrong when at 6 months he was signing "more" and "eat" to communicate his needs. I will also be forever grateful for Miss Pam, the teacher in the infant room that helped me get the hang of being a first time working mom. I remember seeing my son roll for the first time and was so excited about it. When I asked Miss Pam how long he'd been doing it, she told me "the first time he does it is when you see it." They do a great job of arranging fun events for the kids; coming up with all sorts of themes and art projects to keep them engaged. They even have an annual petting zoo and water games in the summer. My son loved it there and still remembers all his teachers that took great care of him and his friends that he grew up with. We definitely miss it there and I highly recommend TLE to anyone that is considering them for childcare. The curriculum and environment are top notch and the teachers and the administrative staff truly care not just about the children but for the parents as well. read more

I started my 20 month old daughter in a different day care and was unhappy with the level of care (they met her basic needs but there was no structure or focus on education). I realized that I had extremely high expectations and as I toured other facilities I wondered if I was just being unreasonable in my high bar. That was until I visited The Learning Experience in Edison. From the moment I walked in, I noticed that everything is very clean, the premises are secure and there's always someone at the front desk to observe everyone entering, the owners and staff are very hands-on, and there is a clear focus on education and advancement of the children. My daughter has been enrolled for the past year, and she has been thriving in their care. She comes home singing new songs and talking about her teachers and friends. She had trouble adjusting to drop offs with her previous daycare, but at TLE, her teachers were immediately able to get her to be excited about being there so drop offs weren't scary any more. The involvement of the staff, great communication, personal touch, focus on teaching/development and overall care they demonstrate makes me feel comfortable leaving her during the day since I know she's in great hands. read more

My son has been going to this school since he was 6 months old and he will graduate from preschool in June. My wife and I have been very impressed with the level of education he has received and feel confident that he is prepared for kindergarten. He always seems to have a great time there and some days he doesn't even want to leave. This is a franchise so the owners are always at the facility. This is helpful when you have questions or concerns as they are available most of the time. The administrators and teachers are very active in providing educational and extra curricular activities for the children. They are always looking to add new things or improve things they currently provide. Examples of this would include a trunk or treat and costume parade/party at Halloween, Christmas pageant, installing a grass area outside for the kids to play sports on, and expanding(added space upstairs) the school to allow for more rooms and to accommodate more children. If there was one negative I see it is the amount of turnover that sometimes occurs with the staff but I think that may be common at daycares in general. We also send our son to the summer camp which keeps him entertained all summer long for a reasonable price. read more

The Learning Experience at Edison has been beyond instrumental in preparing my child for the world. The teachers are compassionate, dedicated, and beyond exceptional. My child left 1st grade, reading at the 3rd grade level. She was confident and ready to start the rest of her educational journey. I've been so pleased with her experience, that I have enrolled her in the summer program, each year since she left the 1st grade. Miss Sophia and Miss Olivia in particular have contributed so significantly to her positive educational, social, and emotional development and integrity, I am confident that she will literally carry these positive values with her through adulthood. Finally, Miss Asha, Miss Shae, and Mr. Manny have been supportive in every feasible manner, since I originally enrolled my child there when she was 2 years old. I thank the entire staff for their contribution to my daughter's life. I literally cannot adequately articulate how pleased and grateful for everything that this school has provided. Absolutely love this school, The way they teach our Child is amazing. But that isn't a shock to us, when we 1st began looking for day care faculties we toured here, (it was out of our price range at the time) but we were so impressed we recommend people to them all the time anyway. Then once we had a bad experience at another provider, we gave in and said it was worth every cent of our child's future. We couldn't be happier with that decision, likewise our daughter absolutely loves it there, She is always talking about what Miss Bianca is teaching her when she comes home. She waves to her school ever day we pass it even on weekend, and is always saying she never wants to go back to her old school, she loves and thanks us for switching her into the new school- she says she knows we lover her because we switched her to TLE of Edison. My daughter started TLE the day after her 3rd birthday (May 2nd) and she loves going to school. Ms. Hasna and Ms. Shantae were her teachers for her preppers class over the summer and I knew my daughter was in great hands. They are patient and caring, and they listened to ALL of my concerns. Those two phenomenal women set the bar high for any care provider that comes in contact with my daughter. (She started Preschool 1B yesterday) TLE offers a great structure for all children to keep them engaged. My daughter's speech has improved drastically over the last 3 months. She was potty trained in 5 weeks!!! I'm so happy that I read all of the reviews first before scheduling a tour. Asha, The Director, sold me within the first 20 minutes of our conversation. My daughter has been at TLE Edison since she was six months old, over 5 years ago!! Many of our family and friends were so against the idea of day care and the costs associated with it. But many families do not have any other option and both parents must work. After the first year, which seems so long ago now, all of our family and friends could not believe what she learned every day. We take family and friends when we pick our children up and they can not believe the outstanding facility and curriculum our children receive. Our daughter is now in the full time Kindergarten program and we are actually nervous that she will be too far ahead for 1st grade in public school- she is reading and writing and doing complex math!! Our second child, our son is now 21 months old and has been at TLE since he was about 5 months old. He is following in his sisters footsteps and we owe a lot of their knowledge to the amazing TLE! I came to TLE Edison from another childcare center 3 years ago. Like all moms, I was nervous and wanted the best care possible for my 2 kids and was not too happy with the daycare they were in. The staff at TLE was amazing!! I had never seen such caring and loving people! It was unbelievable.. The kids were so happy and looked forward to being there weekdays/all year round. To date, nothing has changed.. Still extremely happy. This morning, my kids had an entrance evaluation test at their future private school. They both excelled and impressed the teachers so much as they were so academically advanced..Not to mention their social skills and behavior. That made me so PROUD!!! There aren't enough words to express what a WONDERFUL experience we had a t TLE. My son started here at 3yrs old and attended up until kindergarten . My son was the second class to "graduate" and from time to time we will stop by for a visit. During our time there was minimal amount of turnover and they thoroughly vetted all applicants . In the 2-3 yrs we attended NEVER did I hear the staff gossiping, never did i see them on their phones nor did i ever witness the kids playing on their own with the staff just chit-chatting among themselves. Miss Gidget and Miss Chitna were always engaging the children and NEVER did i hear ANYONE raise their voice to kids. We had attended another daycare center where yelling was the norm . I was blown away by the classwork the kids did and felt like TLE was the best choice I made for my child. He thrived and grew as an individual. My daughter has been attending TLE in Edison NJ for about 5 months now. She is almost 2 now and during her time at TLE she has learned so much, met many new friends, and has moved up to the next classroom after a few months of being at the school. She has learned sign language, many new words (her vocabulary went from about 5 words to over 50 or more words in the short time she has been there. The staff is great, always helpful, and a great place to be a part of. They always have time to speak with you and if they don't they call you to discuss whatever your needs may be. We recently moved to an area that has another TLE but I will continue to send my daughter to this location because of the wonderful environment available at this location. TLE Edison is like no other daycare facility. My daughter has been enrolled at TLE Edison since January 2011 when she was 41/2 months old and has gone through every class at TLE. The teachers are fantastic and very knowledgeable, care greatly about the children and provide enrichment to help the kids REALLY become prepared for Kindergarten and beyond. My wife and I have not found the owners and director to be aloof, unresponsive or ready to expel children at the first offense. But rather, quite the opposite as they are engaged and involved with the children at the center and treat each child as if he or she is their own. Even though two other TLE centers have opened within 5 minutes of our home within the last 2 years, we will still drive 20 minutes to TLE Edison. They ROCK!!!! read more

We have been a part of TLE @ Edison since they day they opened their doors in 2009. My three children enjoy every moment they spend at school. The curriculum is detailed and engaging. With the addition of the health/sports activities, it rounds the school program nicely. Their teachers are very well qualified and experienced. Our oldest is in the K+ program, specially created for children who do not qualify for 1st grade because of the age cut off. Ms. Olivia and Ms. Bianca are the teachers of the class. With their dedication, our daughter has progressed in her reading and writing skills wherein now she is beyond ready for 1st grade this coming school year. We are very thankful for their hard work and commitment. We would highly recommend TLE @ Edison to any parent. read more

My daughter has been with TLE Edison since she was an infant. She has done nothing but excel among her outside peers. She truly loves going to school. This child care center is not just a day care, it is a place for children to lean and grow with a structured curriculum taught by certified professionals. The staff, teachers, and center directors are always accommodating, respectful, and helpful.
