They would not give me my daughter's day care records after multiple requests, in person, over the phone, and written via email and then ultimately written as a non-party notice to produce records w the attached subpoena that would have been signed by a judge (the notice itself was enough for them to comply) after their 10 day notice of non-compliance - about a matter that didn't even involve the day care but my family itself. This company truly does not care about families or children and its policies are immensely troubling. Holly is completely clueless to how to run a daycare. It is also against state code and their licenses to not provide a parent / guardian the complete records of their children by request so it will be reported to the authorizing bodies. The Learning Experience of Boca Raton is truly a disgrace. If more parents have this or a similar experience please reach out to me, as I'm taking this up with DCF so they can be held responsible for their negligence. read more

I over love this place. The staff is so caring and attentive to the students. My son was 19 months when he started and even within a month of him starting I saw the difference in him recognizing letters and singing the alphabet song. He loves his teachers and they are very welcoming when we arrive. I love the updates throughout the day. It helps me to understand his schedule and exactly everything that my child is doing throughout the day. The daily pictures are an added bonus! Ms. Nikki was very warm when we came for the tour. She did an amazing job showing us around to the different classes and explaining what sets TLE apart from other schools. I highly recommend TLE. It's the start your child needs to give them a leg up once they start school. I love this place! read more

Since this location deleted my wife's poor review on their Facebook page, I will now place this review on all sites. This place touts their employees as teachers and the opposite could not be more true, several times we picked up our son and the lunch lady/cook was watching them while waiting for teachers to show up. Towards the end of the day the manager would be pushing kids around in a cart so they could let employees go home early while your child was strapped in a stroller with 6 kids of different ages. We asked for a vegetarian version for our son and they fed him hamburger buns for a week straight. When confronted they said he should be getting the different options even though his teacher had informed me of him only getting bread all week because that was the only option. The biggest reason we left was I came during the middle of the day and found a teacher screaming at a little girl in the bathroom, while the child was completely breaking down (2 year old). We had also seen a child who was dragged out of the classroom to another room by the manager due to him misbehaving. They might sell you on their education, structure and their app but it is just a front for how un-organized and unprofessional the staff is. read more

For the most part this place was acceptable. But we put our baby in the 1 year old class and he got sick almost every other week. I don't feel that they keep germs under control. There was one baby there in his class that was always full of snot just hanging out of her nose. I don't know why they don't wipe it. Every time we go to pick up our child this other baby is there with snot hanging out, like thick mucousy snot, and no one bothered to wipe it. If that baby appears to have some type of sickness why is she allowed in school? I also overheard another mother talking about how her baby got bitten and the teacher seemed surprised like she wasn't even aware it happened. Almost seems like they care more about quantity and not quality of attendance. We got tired of our baby getting sick and decided to remove him. And they gave him a parting gift which was pink eye. We know he got it from here because on his last week they posted a sign saying a baby in that classroom has pinkeye and had to go home. Nice. Once we removed him he never got sick again. Luckily we found a school that has a policy against sending their sick kids to school and discipline against biting. read more

I rarely write reviews (this is only my second one!), but after reading Pattie's review, I wanted to be sure to share an alternative experience - one from someone who actually has a child enrolled. My son (he is just over 1 1/2, so in the rooms Pattie referenced) has been going here for nearly 6 months and LOVES it!! Every morning he gets dropped off, he never has a problem and he is never crying when I pick him up, which I find to be an excellent sign. I have found the teachers to be kind, patient, loving and enthusiastic about learning. One of the toddler teachers, Ms. Patricia, even has a Montessori background. When compared to our previous daycare (where the toddler room had about 25 children in a room.....), TLE is very organized and structured (more like a preschool, not at all like a babysitting service) - the children enjoy similar activities at the same time every day (including music, art, story time, playground and breaks for meals, snacks and nap), which teaches them routine, discipline and manners. In addition, my husband and I enjoy the frequent updates throughout the day on the TLE app - several photos (all with him smiling and enjoying his day) and updates about when he napped, what he ate etc. On top of daily activities, TLE also has enrichment activities mixed in on a regular basis, including acting, yoga, music and more. My child is exposed to so much learning, but in a very fun and open environment. As far as management, we have found every person to be pleasant and always open to addressing our questions or concerns with patience, understanding and kindness. Management also regularly schedules opportunities for philanthropy and giving, with each month dedicated to a cause (like collecting diapers, food or supplies for members of our community that are struggling or cannot afford). It fosters an opportunity at an early age to teach kids about the importance of giving back and creates a community feel within the daycare. I really can't say enough great things about our experience at TLE - we literally have ZERO complaints. read more

Run!!!! They being excluding my kid for the water activities. Last week they told me she should bring swinsuit, she did and now they have another rule for water shoes. As a new parent and kid to the schools I did not know that and didn't been told about that. My daughter is feeling exclude every day. They make me as a clown to get late to work and go get her swinsuit last week and still didn't let her play. For the MENTAL HEALTH of your kid go far away for this place. read more

I have seen some reviews that I would like to answer.... my experience with Holly and Elizabeth and the staff at Learning experience has been nothing but flawless. My experience in the year that we have been there has learned how to ride his name is no longer board does not cry when I dropped him off like he did at planet kids of Wellington. Anytime I have had an issue they have always listened and advised me correctly my child is happy and growing and staying there for his VPK experience. The teachers are always on their phones provided by the school giving me updates and sending pictures throughout the day which makes the parent feel better. Some places are glorified babysitters the Learning experience has a program and a detailed curriculum that they use and it benefits the children I am very happy with my child here and anybody who wants to send their child should it is an amazing experience read more

HIGHLY UNETHICAL. In January I reserved a spot for my son to start day care September 1st in Boca Raton FL. We didn't go on the first day, but I called TLE to let them know I was going to bring my son the next day. To my surprise, the manager was not able to find my son's file but said it was ok for him to come. I submitted all the paperwork along with the payment for the month. The next day I brought my son. The transfer itself was the worst experience. But long story short, every time I called to check on my son I could hear him cry and the teacher confirmed it.... I guess nobody cared to distract him...I could not leave my son any longer in that environment and went to pick him up. Immediately I told the manager that I would not bring my son and asked for a refund because he was there for less than 4 hours. The manager said they had to move someone else and I would be refunded for two weeks only... How come if they even were not aware that my son would be on September 1st? Now is almost 3 months passed and I still didn't get my refund, not even the two weeks refund. $1600 for 4 hours is too much. I called Boca TLE multiple times and they keep promising to refund and get back to me, but there was no call from them. I don't care what type of level of education you provide, but if my kid is stressed out at your day care you are worthless. read more

It has taken me a long time to write a review for The Learning Experience...over 6 months from the time they hurt my child, because I wanted to make sure that I was calm and collected when I wrote this review. My son started there in the infant room around 6 months. I loved his infant teachers and he seemed very happy in that room. Once he was moved to the next room, things started to change. My son has special needs - he is developmentally delayed with speech and receives services. The teachers started contacting me regularly about how my child was causing so many problems. They never had anything positive to say. When you looked around his classroom, they "forgot" to hang his art. It was very clear that they did not like my child because he was a little different than the rest. Being a teacher myself, this broke my heart. I worked hard with the daycare and therapists to try to get my son as much help at daycare as possible. My son's attitude quickly changed from happy go lucky to unhappy and scared to be there. He was always happy to play but things changed and he would grab onto me and not want me to go. That was my first clue into something not being right. Later on, my son started coming home with bite marks all over his body, and the teachers would tell me they were from the mat he was laying on. You see, anytime a kid got bit in the class it was easy to blame my son. I know it wasn't always him, because I was in the room once and a kid got bit, the teacher just blamed the closest kid to the one that got bit. I found it very odd and instinctively knew that because they did not like my child they continued to blame him. The final straw happened when my husband and I went to pick up my son. He was on the playground, and the minute we go there, the teacher ran to the playset he was playing on (he was happy and playing with friends) and grabbed him by the arm and yanked him out of the tree playground. She then continued to drag him by the arm over to me and said she had to protect the "baby" that was in the tree. There were no teachers over there watching, they were talking to each other, and since my son was close by, they immediately assumed he would be mean to the baby. I saw it with my own eyes, my son did nothing. Beyond that, they physically abused my child in front of my eyes. I did report the center and the findings were inconclusive because it became my word against theirs. If you could see the pictures of my son and the bruises they put on him you would be appalled. The director's excuse was that the teacher did care and that she had a kid that went to the center, so she couldn't have meant any harm. Please be careful before sending your children here. I wish I had known about Bright Horizons where I send my child now. The difference is NIGHT AND DAY in what they do for your child and how they take care of them. Listen to your instincts - they put on a good show when you are there, but just know what they did to my child while I was not there and even in front of my eyes. If they think yanking your child out of the equipment and dragging them in front of you is okay, what do they think is okay when you aren't there? read more

I love this place. Our granddaughter has learned so much since we enrolled her. Already knows her alphabet, colors, numbers !! Just two years old with the ability to socialize with other children, and looks forward to going to school every day !! Can not say enough good things about TLE Boca! Our daughter was there from age 2 and just finished the VPK program there this summer. She is in Kindergarten now and still wants to go back and see her old teachers. Currently our son is there and he has blossomed so much in the 10 months he's been there. TLE of Boca Raton is amazing. My daughter recently graduated from there and without their VPK program, she would not have been ready for Kindergarten. She still wishes she could return. Our son is attending there now and is learning so much! His vocabulary has improved and is making so many friends. The teachers and staff are just wonderful. They really take the time to get to know each kid and family individually and really make you feel like family. I pulled my daughter out of this daycare on the third day. Arrived on the first day at 8 AM to drop her off and found out her teacher doesn't arrive until 9 AM every day and only the assistant was there. 1 person for an entire class and it's my daughter's first day. I was astonished that she didn't come over to make her comfortable. I couldn't leave as she was crying and eventually she came over to my daughter. Found her to be crying all day and every day she was there. Always looking at the door and trying to leave. And she got sick for the first time, on her first day. The daycare is trying to promote the technology with sending you updates throughout their app about your kid eating their food and drinking their water. Lame! I felt my daughter wasn't given the attention she needed to excel and grow. It's more like a drop off center for your kid to play for each day. After leaving the TLE, ( and it was a 'learning experience') we were able to get her in the Dino-Might Day Care and she's doing amazing. Read the reviews from Miami S. and Dan M. which is very true. There's a kid with shot hanging from her nose and just walking around and no one doing anything about it. I just moved here from New York and looked into a lot of pre schools for my twins. Coming from New York I was very disappointed in the schools down here until I found the leaning experience. I was amazed at there curriculum and how clean they were but most important It's all about the children. It's all about the well being and teaching them. I wish there was something lower than one star to give to warn other parents!! This facility presents so nice during a tour but ended up being a nightmare for our family. The manager Holly has no idea what is going on in her facility. When I had questions about my child's care, her response to me was "I have 10 classrooms, you expect me to know what's going on in all of them". The facility only cares about ratios which causes teachers to be shuffled between classrooms and no one can tell you how your child's day went. I picked my child up multiple days and he was in his spare clothes, and no one could tell me why (Was it a diaper issue or a messy craft? No one knows). They sell you on an Ap that keeps you up to date on your child's day, but when I questioned why my child was being fed things he wasn't suppose to eat, their response was that the teachers just put the same thing for all the kids and he wasn't actually fed food he couldn't have (the ap is pointless if not updated correctly). After complaining about him being fed food he couldn't have, they started giving him JUST a hamburger bun for lunch. We tried bringing in our own food, but the teachers would never check the fridge to feed our child his lunch from home. And even if we made the teacher aware in the morning that he had food from home, the teachers are shuffled so often, the same teacher wasn't in the room by lunch. Many days when I picked my son up, he was strapped to a stroller with management. It's not uncommon to find management having kids behind the front desk in the evening to meet numbers in order to send teachers home. Our finally straw was on my child's birthday, we went to pick him up at lunch time and saw one of my child's teachers screaming at another child while the little girl cried hysterically. We pulled him out that day. My son had loved going to daycare before we moved and tried The Learning Experience. Now he starts crying hysterically if you mention the words school or daycare. read more
