So the burrito was what I ordered and the beans and rice was good but the chicken in the burrito was way over done. Was a bit disappointed and the kiddo got the wings and he said they were cold so they sat for a while. It was a basketball night and they were busy but... service was a bit slow but she was apologetic about it with how busy it was and it was. Will have to come back and try something else when it's not too busy.

    Try the fish!

Amazing fish tacos! I have never tried a fish taco but this is the place! I'm not sure I'll ever find any better!

Service from my waitress, Daniela, was very attentive: I wanted for nothing. I ordered a frozen house margarita and the veggie quesadillas. The chips and salsa taste homemade. I agree with other positive reviews of the salsa. The quesadillas were so loaded with sauteed mushrooms, broccoli, and cheese, a fork and were needed. So tasty. The margarita was flavorful if a little light on the tequila. The interior decor is bright and festive., The music volume was perfect to allow conversation, but was a bit too up tempo for dining.

It's my girlfriend's birthday! The birthday girl chose this location, she'd been before. It was my first time and I enjoyed the atmosphere and food! Oh yeah, the mango margarita was poppin! Once we ordered from the lunch menu, the food came quickly. Chips and salsa complimentary and queso $$$$. The food was fresh and hot. It was simply delicious. Service was prompt and friendly. I look forward to returning!

A different sort of a Mexican restaurant. Overall I would say it was good and I enjoyed my meal as did my wife but not sure if this restaurant is for us. The service was good, hostess was pleasant and sat us right away and our server was prompt and attentive! The restaurant quickly filled up and it even though it was our first time here this is no doubt a popular place to dine. I had the Burrito Texano and my wife chose the Enchiladas - both were tasty.

Example of menu page- lots of options!

AMAZING! 10/10! Looking for authentic Mexican food, casual dining, and reasonable prices? This is THE place! In the heart of downtown, the restaurant is nestled on the perfect corner. The interior was beautifully decorated. We were seated promptly, and our service the entire time was great. The menu was full of options. We ordered the fajitas texanas, without beef. We also got a choriqueso- white queso dip with chorizo added. And, of course, we asked for a spicier salsa. And it brought the heat. Everything was delicious, and filling. The portions are huge! We were just two eating the fajita, but it definitely could have served four. I've finally found my go-to place for Mexican food in OKC. I can't wait to visit again really soon :)

If I could give this place -1000 I would. We walked in and my plan was to eat and purchase a gift card for my best friend. We were seated and my husband went to the bathroom. Chips and salsa were placed on the table. That's it. No drinks. Nothing else. For 15mins we were just looked at. The staff were all crowded around the bar area watching us and talking and someone who was probably a regular, was sat after us next to us. In those 15mins his order was taken, he was given drinks and checked on. I refused to let my husband flag someone down because again, they were looking right at us. After 15mins we left and before we could hit the door, the bus boy was at the table clearing it. It's been years since I've felt unwanted somewhere but Lazy Donkey definitely did it. I hope they have the success they deserve. ***** I waited a month to make this review so that it wasn't done in the heat of the moment and in anger****

Large menu with something for everyone, even the picky eaters.

We were in town and wanted Mexican food for dinner so we gave this place a try. I'm so glad we did. The food was excellent and the prices were very reasonable, especially for the portion size. Our server was very attentive. The restaurant was lively and clean.

Food wasn't bad but the service wasn't great. Really slow. I'll try it again in case it was an off day for them.

The last time we went there, the parking lot wasn't free, it was $11.00 for 2 hours. We like the food, but went somewhere else.

This places an easy 4.5 but won me over on the service and overall vibe and you can't do halves…read more. worth it. Salsa not too hot but tasty, chips right in that sweet spot and crunchy and queso and chips could've a meal that n themselves. Watch out for the Fundido as the jalapeños are spicy. The Burris tacos are right on the money at three... if ur hungry .... If not def split it and share! Super cheesy and the meat was fall apart melt in your mouth! Glad we stopped and our waitress had great suggestions!

This place has potential to be really awesome, but so many things are missing the Mark. The vibe…read moreinside is super fun, and I'm sure outside, if we had gone when it was warmer, would've been a good time! The guy working the bar was cool and friendly. He gave us some great ideas for what to do in OKC on a weekday date night. To start, I've never been to a Mexican restaurant that instead of having complementary chips and salsa, they hand you a bowl of popcorn. That was super super weird! We wanted chips and salsa, so we ordered some. For five dollars, we got a good size bowl of chips as well as salsa, but the salsa was hot. It was literally steaming! I don't know who ordered salsa, hot, but it just felt wrong. The margarita was very watered down and when we brought it to the bartender's attention, he said that that's how he has to make them according to the policy. The food was pretty good though! I had some chicken and rice dish that was really enjoyable and my husband's surf and turf burrito was delicious! I would maybe come back and order those, but I definitely wouldn't spend the money on bar drinks or chips and salsa. Honestly, even though we go to Oklahoma City a good amount, we probably won't come back here unless we are just really hungry and close by and already know a couple menu items we like.
