It was my first time using the projects feature on Yelp and within the same day Nelson reached out and we scheduled for him to come by 3 days later to give me a quote. He was very easy to talk to and professional. In addition, I appreciated that he gave me real advice and ideas, not ones that would benefit his pockets but rather ones that aligned with my vision and my budget too. His crew came by about a week and a half later on a Tuesday afternoon, and by Friday evening they were finished (one day was too rainy for them to work). The outcome was better than I could've imagined it and I could really tell that Nelson and his team listened to what I wanted done. I wish I had a before picture so you could see the transformation. I would highly recommend Nelson landscaping to anyone needing a big or space landscaping or hardscaping job done. The quality of work is excellent, communication is great, and timing is unmatched.

The job was a big one, but these guys knew exactly what they were doing and how to do it. The whole process began several years ago when we realized our retaining wall was on the brink of collapse. We had seen Natural Green's trucks around the neighborhood, maintaining our neighbors beautifully landscaped yards and always admired their work. When a mason we had worked with recommended them, we made the call and set up a consultation right away. Arlindo arrived on time and ready to get down to business. He's polite, warm and very, very smart -- this guy knows his landscaping. We went over what we wanted to do, what needed doing and how is should be done, and within a day we received a quote. It was very reasonable, but still a lot of money -- something we definitely would need to save up for. Fast forward to a year and a half later, and we were ready to roll. Arlindo stuck to his initial quote, which we appreciated, and when we needed to go a little deeper and get more work done, he and his team worked very hard to come up with the best possible price, and walked us through exactly how they did that. The end result is a beautiful back yard, patio, fence, stone wall and front yard that not only enhances the beauty of my home, but increases the value of the property as a whole. I have never seen such a hardworking group of men in my life, and the fact that such a dramatic transformation took place over a few short months is amazing to me. Through it all, Arlindo, his father and their team were a pleasure to work with, so much so that we've had them back to make sure everything is kept in tip-top condition. I couldn't recommend these guys more -- if you're looking for landscaping, hardscaping, or even yard maintenance, these are your guys. They're definitely mine!

They showed up a week after the call and let us know that our yard was too wet to work. They then came back a week later when the yard had dried out and completely brought our yard back to life. It's beautiful now. Neighbors comment on it regularly. Natural Green was precise, efficient, and quick. I've already referred them to family, who have had the same experience and reaction. I can't recommend them enough. We spend as much time as we can outside, now that they've revitalized our yard. Thank you!

All summer I watered it with the liquid plant food bottles like I do for the annuals and the leaves never got bigger than my thumbnail. Finally I used a hand tool to mix some dry manure in around it and found the wire, after more digging, I realized the basket was never removed. I called a friend I worked with and we dug it up easily since it had grown no roots, We removed the basket and plastic and I mixed in some good garden soil and we replanted it. You can come and see it. It looks like a dwarf Japanese tree. Nothing is in bloom right now and I am going to move it to the corner of the back yard, (It was to be the center focus of the back yard) I will never call him again and I tell everyone about what I got for $3500.00. Really overpriced. They arrived with no plan of print of any kind, and had to call me to find out where two 4x4 poles were to be cemented in the ground for an awning. Oh, and here's a good one.I wanted a 14x20 area of the lawn to be level for a picnic table and maybe some extra chairs between the poles. Well the lawn has a slight slope of about 1/2 inch per foot. So a 6 foot picnic table would be 3 inches higher on one end. Well they brought in horrible dirt which would later produce the greatest variety of weeds and made it nice and flat, but still sloped. When I called him back to explain it wasn't level enough he came to see it and sent three guys out with one yard of dirt to build up one side. THEN he had the balls to send me a bill for $500.00 extra for the one yard of dirt and an unknown amount of man hours. And did I say he was overpriced? frankinmass@yahoo.com
