M & M is a small family owned business has been servicing RI and surrounding areas for over 25 years. I had a limited exposure to paving as a teen because I worked a summer doing it. Hot work ! The estimator was punctual to his appointment. The price submitted was correct and reasonable for the job. The appointment was made for the work 3 weeks out. The office confirmed the appointment a few days ahead of arrival. The crew with Mike (owner), at the helm arrived at exactly at the time and date established. The crew of 6 (7 with Mike), worked flawlessly together like a well tuned orchestra doing a symphony. In a few short hours the job was completed, the work completely cleaned up! No hesitation here: highly recommend! 5 stars ! Ken Postscript: LOOK.. Asphalt paving is a real tough occupation. Good help is difficult to find and keep. Customers, (especially ones that are not familiar with the "paving trade", are sometimes not treated honestly and overpay for substandard work. M & M are honest and forthright with all phases of paving.. Thanks to you and your crew Mike for a job well done! OH.. did I mention the word "hot"? Well, it was sunny with temps about 90 with humid muggy conditions! It didn't phase them one bit. It was HOT!

They responded to my post the same day - the next day they were here and took care of the job of clearing out the large pile. The price was more than fair and the guys did a great job, but what really impressed me is that they were running late due to a job taking longer than expected. They called me to let me know they were still coming. Arrived at the end of the day, sun going down, but rather than reschedule - they came. Well done! They will be the first I call for my next yard (or even stone) need.

UPDATE(1 week later): After Jose and his amazing crew came to remove our boarder hedges, we had 3 different fences installed (stockade, picket and vinyl with double gates across driveway) and our deck stairs fixed. Jose offered suggestions and solutions, remained in constant contact with us during the many projects and even fixed my neighbors cracked post! He created an amazing new walkway to the new deck stairs and helped to install a small piece of lattice under the deck. He is legit a jack of all trades. I absolutely recommend Jose to anyone weary of picking a company for any of the services we have had completed. Not only will you get exactly what you envision, everything will be completed by a respectful and professional company.

Alex, a highly professional "tree fixer" looked at my pine trees and the needles that were turning…read moreyellow on one of the trees. He knew exactly what was wrong! One of my huge beautiful pine trees had a fungal infection. He explained to me that the best way to keep the tree healthy was to spray it. SavATree emailed me with what needed to be done and listed the price. I felt confident because I could tell this company is a legitimate, "stand-up" type of business. I received an email that gave me a day/date and approximate time of when SavATree would be coming out to treat the tree. This company gave me SUPER / OUTSTANDING service. The tree was sprayed, and I'm optimistic that I do not have to have the tree taken down. I'm an older woman who lives in a nice area. My house is 76 years old. Many of the houses located near me are recently built, and they are large, expensive homes. I get tired of these companies that quote ridiculously high prices because of the neighborhood. Alex did not do this. By the way, the form Alex completed lists date/time he arrived and what was used on the tree. He also signed the form, wrote thank you, and added a smiley face. SavATree is an EXCELLENT COMPANY.

SavATree purchased Kaiser Tree Preservation whom we had used every few years to trim the many trees on our property. With pools in both neighbors yards, they have requested when we trim our trees, to cut back the bits that over hang their pools. I am happy to do this, and Kaiser never batted an eye lash at the request. SavATree sent their representative out to learn the scope of work we wanted done. We were repeatedly told by this representative when discussing what we wanted done 'don't worry about that' and 'you don't want to do that' and 'don't worry about the neighbors'. We received a price quote for the work the representative wanted done and none of the work we had requested. As I have to live here, I do in fact try to be a good neighbor and my trees have been trimmed the same way for over a decade without harming them. SaveATree assigns representatives to an 'area', so I am not able to get a new quote from them for the work I want. It's sad because I really liked working with Kaiser and their 'tree preservation' business model. Now I have to begin my search for a new tree service provider that actually cares about the health of my trees. Not an easy find.

I ended up choosing them bc they are a "one stop" shop - I didn't want to have to book a bunch of different contractors for what I wanted done. I'm kind of a pain in azz and Juan handled me and my random text messages/questions quickly. His cost estimate was on point as well. They cleaned up after themselves and were great all around. I have them booked to come back and do the patio and another fence along the driveway. I'll post a follow up then. all in all they are easy to deal with, efficient, fairly priced, honest, hard working, solid quality, clean, and they do it all - walls, fence, landscaping etc... nice works guys ty!
