I have been coming here for years- before I got an in home washer and dryer and recently came back due to a wiring issue I haven't had the chance to fix. Lately I've been having so many issues here. The cards are not working, the machines are not working, people are going into your clothes and touching them. I drive 25 mins here every weekend to come here because it's comfortable and for the most part clean but these issues have been happening to frequently. Every time I come, I leave frustrated. You guys need an ATM if your machines are not going to work. I had to leave the premises to go get cash back- how inconvenient. I Simple LOVE This Laundry May and am a Happy customer but today there were 5 broken machines and 2 customers were using ALL of the open ones. The floor were dirty and there was garbage left in the washers! WHY? Our regular Lady was off and the skinny one wasn't too helpful. Let's try harder please. Thanks! read more

I have been doing my laundry at home for over 15 years, but had to get it done at a laundry mat for emergency. I checked the reviews and this one looked like a good place and it did turn out to be a good experience. The place was clean and drama free. I didn't know what the heck I was doing when I first came in, but a nice lady took me under her wing and showed me how to pay and get started. Basically you need to buy a card and load money on it like chuck e cheese. It was like 3 dollars for washing and 1 dollar for drying. The dryers go in like 10 or 15 minute charge increments, so just keep popping in your card and taking it out till it loads 40-45 minutes. A little girl taught me how to do it and I was very thankful because I sure was lost. read more

Finally, I came back to Lantana and discovered a brand new Laundromat called "The Laundry Tub". I am severely Visionally Impaired so wasn't sure I would be able to manage the way this Laundromat works. But upon entering, a pleasant woman named "Ines" approached me. I explained my vision was so poor but she took out the time and energy to explain what a "Laundry Card" was, how to buy it, how to put funds on it, evinced to me all the different types of soaps I could purchase and then actually started the washing process. Then the drying. This "Ines" was so incredibly helpful that I will never frequent a different laundromat again! This Laundromat is CLEAN, Open Late, and the Air Conditioning works! I don't use this expression loosely, but OMG!! I don't know if it's odd for one to LOOOOVE their Laundromat, but I DO!! I'm your (not so typical;) busy lady with MOUNDS of laundry piling up... You know the feeling: the house, the kids, the dogs, the husband, feeding everybody, WORK, bills..... You get the picture. I've found my new ZEN place, Office, salvation all rolled into one.... The Laundry Tub is a wonderful and clean local laundromat and I highly recommend this business. I came in because as I was driving by one day I saw on the sign they offer a Drop-Off service (Wash/Dry/Fold). I have a huge comforter that won't fit into my washing machine at home so I decided to stop in and take advantage of their Wash/Dry/Fold Drop-Off service. If you are interested in the Drop Off service, be sure to have cash on hand to pay for the service. Payment is due at the time of drop off. You cannot use your laundry card as payment for the drop off service- it is cash only and payment is due at the time of drop-off. You'll find out more information about the fees for the drop-off service and the laundry card as you read on. Upon walking in, I was greeted by one of the attendants on duty-- her name is Christine. She was an absolute sweetheart and an excellent asset to The Laundry Tub. I paid cash for the comforter I was dropping off and she immediately got to work. As she started washing the comforter, I was looking around and was surprised at the cleanliness of the laundromat. She approached me and asked if I had any questions. I told her I would be interested in bringing in my comforter on my own next time I came in. She showed me step-by-step how to obtain, register and add funds to a laundry card- she explained prices and how to use all the machines -- she even told me about the select promotion days offered which is 50% off washing machines except for the 90lb Big Poppi. Christine explained all the ins and outs that I needed to know about the laundromat in a very upbeat manner and she was very informative. What really amazed me was how she effortlessly & patiently took the time to explain everything I needed to know, answering all of my unasked questions! I decided to take all the information she shared with me and share all the good stuff with my fellow Yelpers so you are in the loop! The laundry tub uses a card system for the washer and dryer machines. The cost of the laundry card is a one time fee of $1.00 and you can load money onto it with cash or credit card (no coins). I love this concept!!! And I just love how I don't need to worry about making change and carrying around quarters. This card is reusable (so put it in a safe place when you're done because when you come back to do laundry again, you just reload money onto this card and you don't have to purchase another card for $1.00). When you purchase your laundry card on the kiosk, be sure to register it on the same kiosk with all of your information as it reads on your driver license. It's important that you register it! The laundry card is just like cash so if you happen to misplace or lose this card, you can get a replacement laundry card from the owner with a valid ID/DL he will look up your registered account and it must match the information that is on your ID/DL. Any funds that were on the previous card will be transferred to your replacement card. In the event that you dropped or misplaced your card somewhere in the laundromat, perhaps left it on top of one of the machines or even in the restroom, and cannot find it-- immediately get a replacement! Hopefully you are able to get a replacement before someone doing laundry finds the card and uses it. That's an unfortunate scenario but it happens. If that's the case, any funds that were used by the culprit will not be transferred over to the replacement laundry card. Also if your card is not registered and any of the above scenarios occur, you won't be able to get a replacement card or a transfer of any of the funds that you may have had on it. I went to this laundromat because I just happened to drive by and see it looking very bright, new & clean. It is all of those things. However... I will never go back. For a few very big reasons. First, the machines don't accept quarters. You are required to get a "laundry card" from a kiosk. This "laundry card" will set you back $1; they say it is a "deposit" but, it is not refundable. So, right away I was paying to be a paying customer. At this kiosk you have to add funds to your card by cash or credit card. The kiosk does not take coins. So, if you show up with a pocket full of change to do laundry you are out of luck because the attendant doesn't have any cash. Apparently, everything in this place is run by this card. Second, the machines are about $1 to $1.50 more than any other laundromat around. The cost to use them is also not round ($2.99 $3.99 and more etc.) They actually charge you more to use the top dryer instead of the bottom! $0.39 for the top vs. $0.31 for the bottom. So, not only are you paying more than the usual $0.25 for a dryer, you are charged more for using the top v the bottom. Being someone who is tall, that was very annoying. Finally, I had already decided this place is over priced, the attendant is rude & I would not be back. I had one load of towels left to dry & this oddball balance on the "laundry card." I needed $1 to dry my stuff and get out of there. However, I had coins & a credit card...I attempted to put $1 on my card at their kiosk but, they have a $5 minimum transfer (something that is nowhere on the machine). I asked the attendant to change my coin for a $1 bill; nope, she has no cash. I literally spent $18 on 3 loads of laundry. That is crazy. This place will basically hold you hostage. Charge you for a card to use at their place, not use round denominations on the machines so you will always have a balance on said card. They also want you to register your card; I refused. I politely told the attendant that I will not be back. I took my wet towels & went to the laundromat I usually go to dry my towels. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Overpriced, sneaky, & a bit racist. As I was washing my clothes the attendant and her friends quite loudly sounded off all the things they don't like about white or gay people. Being both, I couldn't wait to get out of there. Offended on many levels. I don't foresee a bright future for this place. read more

I dropped my laundry off probably every week and a half or every two weeks and every time I get my laundry back there's something missing my sons clothes go missing my clothes go missing and some of them act like they only speak Spanish so they act like they don't understand what you're saying but your clothes will go missing constantly I have so many clothes that went missing and they have no no excuse no nothing for it they act like they don't know what I'm talking about but you guys are the ones I wash my laundry and every time I pick up my bags I don't have one less bag or I have my clothes missing do not come here to have them wash your clothes do the worst dry cleaning service I could ever imagine if you want your clothes to go missing go head go there but if you want your clothes because you paid your hard earned money with them don't go there because they will steal your clothes for their kids and for them I don't even understand how they fit into my clothes honestly because you're so fat llama bitches in there read more

I came in to wash my bulky items like my dogs' bed and some pillows and I FELL IN LOVE with this Laundromat. The facility is clean and tidy with that amazing smell of fresh linens in the air. I've been to plenty of laundromats throughout my life but this one is the epitome of perfection. Fairly priced and a great atmosphere. You can really tell that they take pride in their store. I will be coming back again and will be recommending to all my college friends too. Big thanks to Michelle for being so helpful to those of us who are first timers.
