The decor was casual, comfortable, and we thoroughly enjoyed the long weekend. Our room had a toilet and sink, the bathroom, and shower was down the hall. The Inn was spotless and delightful. I would love to go back. We only live across the bridge in Virginia Beach, but the get away was just excellent.

Overcharged and tried to steal deposits Had bugs…read moreeverywhere, kitchenettes have no dishes or pots or pans. Spilled some chocolate milk on a doiley, they took a $250 deposit. Rented two nights, no customer service and we're constantly being harassed by staff. Old man next door had a room next to ours with a door on it. My wife did not feel safe, knowing the man could just open the door and walk in. The foreign Russian made harass my wife and I as we were trying to check out. I feel like they just pick on tourists.

I feel so strongly about sharing my recommendation to stay here that this is my first-ever (and possibly only) Yelp review. The rooms, property, restaurant quality food, and service were impeccable. Sherry, Ridge, and Sara are so kind and will go above and beyond to ensure you have the best stay, even communicating months in advance to see if we had any requests. The unlimited ice cream and snack bars, speakeasy and all-seasons room were our favorite amenities, but the list is plentiful. Our room had a private patio with firepit, heated bathroom floors, a soaking tub, and so much more. It was beyond clean and comfortable! The icing on the cake: they are pet-friendly, and even provided organic dog treats to our corgi. We came in March for my birthday (they gave me flowers, a note, and a gift) and are already planning a trip back in the summer to utilize the heated pool, kayaks, bikes, and other outdoor activities.
