I have been going to the lash lounge at Dr Phillips on and off for about four years now. My only issue has been retention. I have followed all the instructions, keeping my lashes clean and dry. I concluded that I have sensitive eyes--my eyes are watery during lash application. When I left the lash lounge at Dr Phillips and was getting my lashes done in LA, I noticed that the stylist applied lash bond and seal at the end; as a result, my lashes would last for 2-3 weeks before a refill. Due to convenience, I returned to the lash lounge at Dr Phillips and had Aubrey, the stylist, do my lashes. I mentioned to Aubrey that without the lash bond and seal at the end, my lashes fall off more easily. I got my lashes done on September 18. I forgot to remind her to apply the lash bond at the end, so half had fallen off within a couple of days after doing my lashes. I communicated that with the office, and I can't help but wonder, THE LASH LOUNGE AT Dr Phillips did not receive my complaint well and decided to change my appointment at the last minute intentionally. These are the exact words from the office after communicating about my lashes having fallen off: "Aubrey also mentioned that one of our other senior stylists, Toni, might be an even better fit for the specific look you're going for. Of course, that's completely up to you, and if you are otherwise happy with Aubrey, then we can keep the appointment as is!" My response was that I did not have a problem with Aubrey's work; the only problem I have is retention, and I have tried Toni and had the same issues On September 18th, I booked my appointment with Aubrey for October 10 at 12pm. At the time of booking the appointment, she was completely open. On Wednesday, October 8, I received a text to confirm my appointment, and I did. Yesterday, October 9, I got a text saying that my appointment had to be changed. I called the office to find out what happened. The person I spoke with had no idea why my appointment had to be changed, that she had to reach out to her manager, or that Aubrey was completely booked. These are the exact words I received before my appointment was changed: "Hi Guerline, this is Jaine, the manager with The Lash Lounge Dr Phillips. I am reaching out regarding an appointment you have with us tomorrow. The stylist you are currently booked with does not have that time available due to a scheduling issue. I do have another stylist, Toni, available for the same time. Is it okay if we move your appointment to her?" Again, she was open when I initially booked my appointment with Aubrey. Yes, my appointment was intentionally changed because Aubrey and the office did not take the complaint well and decided to change my appointment intentionally. The climate we are living right now- what is the motivation here- from a black woman respectfully bringing a complaint- should I wonder if I were a white woman bringing up an issue, would the result be the same? After all, Tony is one of the black stylists at the shop. read more

Once again, Kat killed it! I got my lamination done today, and it was about three weeks after the tinting, and I am absolutely in love. My brows before would barely even look full with penciling it. Now, they are naturally full and I cannot believe how much hair I have! This has been an amazing treatment and I am so happy with the results. Aubrey has been doing my lashes every 2 weeks since I started coming here and I cannot praise her enough on her skills and attention to detail. My eyelashes look phenomenal every time and they always last the entire two weeks... I receive multiple compliments on my lashes every single time. On top of that, a huge shout out to the front desk staff (huge shout out to Tasha) who is the most friendliest and accommodating person. Also the manager, Alicia, truly cares about every single customer who walks in the door and goes out of her way for them. Third time is the charm. The owner reached out to me after my previous experiences wanting to make it right. She suggested I continue using the NeuLash product on my eyes and return again with a discount. NeuLash is a pricey product but after several months of daily use, it has made a difference In my sparse eyelashes. I returned to Lash Lounge with apprehension but I saw Kat who was the stylist who took care of me the first time. Kay is friendly and patient. She again used the smallest rod and she noticed a difference in my lashes. I am very pleased with the results and am hopeful it will last for several weeks. lashes burned every single time, had to use benedryl cream on eyes after service and refills on frequent basis.

I have gotten my lashes done here for over a year and after many inconveniences with customer service and being overcharged I am finally expressing my disappointment. They charge full refill prices even if you book a mini. Charged me $189 for a missed appointment when their policy says 50% the service and some upcharges. Their manager called me off a blocked number twice when being declined. Not impressed with the way they treat their most loyal customers. read more

After the past few years of being holed up inside the house all the time (pandemic), I've decided this year's theme is *treat yo' self*, so naturally, I needed some unnaturally dramatic lashes. The Lash Lounge in Dr. Phillips is bright, clean, and staffed by some grade A aestheticians. After an excellent experience getting a full set of Volume Lashes (and opting to upgrade to dramatic) I decided to get a membership so I could get my fill-ins at a discounted rate. Jasmine was so personable and professional, and man did she deliver on my "Please help, I need to feel like a human again. Make them EXTRA." request. The next week I headed out to Mexico on vacation, taking every precaution to preserve my beauties by wearing goggles anytime I was near the water, not touching my lashes, and avoiding my husband trying to put a pillow over my face as I snored while carefully sleeping on my back. Let me tell you, THREE weeks later I was ready for a refill. The combination of Jasmine's amazing work and my neurosis was the perfect recipe. I got a refill with Aubrey as Jasmine was unavailable the weekend I made my appointment and she did a fantastic job as well! Now up for my second fill this weekend (made my appointment well in advance) and will be seeing Jasmine again. I HIGHLY recommend Lash Lounge. The pricing is on point with quality lash studios back in NY where I'm from but may seem high for the area. Let me tell you though, it's a small price to pay to feel like a million bucks and I wear a hell of a lot less makeup when I have my extensions. Win/win! read more

For those complaining about lashes not lasting, they have glue which is not as harsh but requires you not wet it for 24 hours and to not use oil based cleansers or make up. I decided to go to get lash extensions ahead of a holiday vacation and went for a trial run before my trip with Jasmine who is either a senior or master stylist which requires an extra fee. We did a classic which is the least full and most natural as it was my first time and she did not want me to be over whelmed with big fake eyelashes. They were a classic C curl which is the least thick option and has less of a curl. They were wispy and very pretty but they were little long for me and not the level of thickness I was wanting but now I know since that was just my first time. They were well done but there were a few places where I had several of my natural lashes which are a dark brown peeking through once I looked better at it at home with my magnifying mirror the same day which was disappointing because I had paid extra for a senior/master stylist and was under the impression from their website that each lash would have an extension but that the amount of strands of the fans of lashes changed depending on the level/volume you chose. Jasmine was pleasant and easy to talk to and made my first experience pleasant but now that I have done it again with another stylist, I know I prefer the D curl due to my lashes constantly touching my glasses with the C curl and I prefer a level 2 hybrid to have a more full look. My second stylist I used was Toni. I had her do my lashes right before my trip. Toni is very thorough and double checks that each of my lashes have an extension. I have had her several times and she has never missed a lash, even when I look very closely with my magnifying mirror. It takes about two hours and you lay down during it with your eyes closed so it is hard not to fall asleep, I bring my headphones and listen to a podcast but usually end up snoozing. The lady next to me this last time snored openly briefly which was funny. Toni is very good at what she does, she cleans your eyelashes beforehand, always has her nails painted and clean and done very nice, cleans the table after you leave, and I enjoy the conversation before I inevitably fall asleep. I will continue to stay with her as she is excellent at what she does and goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best set of lashes. I do not see how she is not a master stylist. I constantly get compliments on her work and appreciate how it simplifies my morning routine. The only differences are that I had to buy one if their puffed out sleep masks so my eyelashes don't get bent during the night and I use their gel cleanser. I do not really need eyeliner anymore but when I use eye liner I use their oil free liner which comes off a lot easier than my liner I usually use but makes it where I don't have to scrub my eyes to remove the liner. I do the membership where it is $159 monthly for the hybrid level one fill which includes two sets a month (they say to go every 2 weeks as you usually lose 20% of your lashes every two weeks and if you are missing more than 50% it is a whole new set which is fair). I have stretched it to 3 weeks before but it was looking a little sparse towards the outer corners of my eyes. read more

I thought it is will be $150 so fist on reception lady's should be let client to know about price difference but they didn't. So it is really unprofessional. So just 1.5 month i spend $500 , so each time $220-$224. But today during procedure extension eyelashes my eyes was really irritated and still I am on pain after 4 hours. read more
