my regular threading lady is on vacation so i came to devi about ten days ago and unfortunately i…read moream disappointed with my experience. devi was nice but did not treat my skin gently. i came in for full face and neck. she was very aggressive with her threading and made the area under my eyes bleed and my neck bleed. she said "the faster i go the more i numb your skin so you don't feel the pain." the threading aggression destroyed my skin barrier and i am still healing it ten days later. she made unsolicited and uniformed comments about my skin like "i can tell you used to wax because of your pores" amid silence and no conversation. i told her i have not gotten waxed in over six years and she said always get threading because there are no side effects and then she gave me side effects. i had gone to my derm the day before for my checkup who said my glowing skin is progressing extremely well and then it was regressed back from this visit. it was $44 in pawtucket which is more than places in providence. and she did not mention she doesn't have a credit card machine until it was time to pay. there was no else in the salon but me and my friend watching. i unfortunately will not return. i also am shocked by the amount of 5 star reviews on google and how different my experience is based on what i have read.

If I were given just a little guidance as to where I was to go, or perhaps what door to enter (and I am not exaggerating when I say this building/complex is huge), I'm certain I would not have arrived to my first appointment a sweaty, panting, exhausted mess!!! I will take some responsibility for not doing my research beforehand, but I'm thinking that I can't possibly be the only client who didn't realize that this business was located on the second floor, up a difficult to find staircase, behind a locked door, around several corners and down a not-so-well lit hallway. Once you do find Seductive Lashes, two hours later, and after an extremely vigorous completely unexpected workout, you are greeted by an unsmiling and not-so-friendly owner (but I guess I probably did startle her with my perspiring and exhausted appearance after running around a huge building in search of her business), because who else would pop up at the doorway of their business except someone who has spent the past two hours looking for it? If I still have your attention, it is important to note that after all of the effort made in locating Seductive Lashes, the stylist never showed up for our appointment. I'm not going to mention her name, mostly because I feel like something happened that prevented her from showing up. I don't think this was a case of her just being completely irresponsible, or at least I hope not. I will not be returning to Seductive Lashes, but I hope this somehow helps any new clients find their way. P.S. Enter through the doorway directly across from "The Met." The correct staircase is to the right, and go through the grey door at the top of the stairs. The door does appear to be locked, but with a good amount of pull and tug, it will open. Once on the second floor, I honestly can't remember how many twists and turns were involved, but at this point, you are at least in the right area. Just scream out if all else fails and hopefully the owner will come and save you.

I was hesitant as I had never gotten extensions before and everyone told me they wouldn't help but Kelley reassured me she could fix the bangs. She also adjusted the price since I was mostly getting extensions in the front instead of my whole head, making it more manageable. Kelley placed the extensions right under the bangs which helped them blend and made them nearly invisible when brushed and styled. The extra hair allowed me to finally put the bangs behind my ears since they were about eye length. These extensions lasted me from September to December and I even dyed and cut them twice (at a hairdresser this time, don't worry). If you are on the fence about extentions or want your bangs gone like me I highly recommend Kelley. She is an extremely wise person that you can trust with your hair and money!
