I was told 300 and called them up to confirm and for an explanation of what to expect. The not so friendly Renee told me the 300.00 included 1 month of lessons for 45 mins each and 1/week reherersal. Fine. How do I pay I asked? "Ummmm..... well you can just send me your info in an emai.....l I guess....."WTF? okay..... No thanks, I will just pay in person when I come. When I arrived Renee wasn't there and apparently neither was anyone else who could process my payment. Not only that -they were not ready for my daughter either and suggested that I take off and that she "hang out" there for about an hour and half with them. She's 8!! ok...... Surely they mean that there are some other kids perhaps in the same situation and they have some activities planned for them or something along those lines. I quickly figured out that was not the case as I watched the instructors skip out to lunch. Since no else said anything else to me I decided to sit and wait with my daughter until they returned and made time for her....A few days later I checked my bank account only to find that school of rock had charged me double. #$%^&*(. And when I called and spoke with the owners Mike and Renee, they cheerfully responded with sarcasm and reassured me again that "WE DONT GIVE A SHIT!!!!!" AND just to make sure that I got the message Mike sent me a cheerful email..with all exclaimation points..that he PERSONALLY DOESN"T GIVE 2 SHITS!!! . My next issue with these assclowns. After talking to my daughter I realized she was not receiving the private lessons I was paying for....so I emailed the owners. Who again treated me with zero respect. Ok, i get it. You are in a prime buckhead location, making money hand over fist and DONT GIVE A SHIT but really...that's just not cool. I emailed Mike AGAIN for my refund and this time he didn't respond with all all excamation points!! hey! Christina! We don't give a shit!!! So maybe I will get my well deserved refund. In the meantime, all the instructors seem nice and my mini me likes coming here..which makes the fact that owners don't care about customer service all the more incredibly frustating.

He is not really a comedy guy at all, but he nailed it. So I signed for the class next day. I wasn't sure.. someone can teach me to write a joke, but as time pass by in Jeff's class, exactly 6 weeks later, I had my 5 minutes comedy routine to perform on stage. It was kind of magical. I didn't just learn how to write jokes but also worked on delivery, study different techniques, practice, had enormous help from Jeff's team, his feedback and support. I met new friends.. who were on the same page with me and created amazing memories on working with them on stage and off stage. Taking Jeff Justice workshop is an amazing experience and can be helpful to anyone with sense of humor or not. You don't believe, try it yourself! :)

In addition to the super professional service, they are nice--genuinely so...helpful and actually care about your audition and your satisfaction. Add to this that Compass offers great rates, discounts for SAG actors and great deals for repeat customers and they get my business every time. When I first saw the first YouTube video of Pure Financial Academy something really resonated within me. This is Psychology and Nature in it's truest form. If I can give you an analogy and if you can understand it than learning how to trade using Pure Financial Academy's approach will make perfect sense. I have Baseball cards from 1990 that I have been trying to sell. I am not able to due to the fact that people learned that these cards might be worth something in the future so people stopped throwing them away......thus creating a large supply of card from that era, but if I had cards from the 40's-60's I would be able to sell because there is large demand, as back then everyone threw them away or put the cards in their bicycle spokes. After class one day at the studio, my mentor introduced me to a Live Sound Engineer that owns a…read morelocal sound company that needed a extra guy to help out around the shop, come to gigs and help wrap cables and do tech work. After a few weeks of doing grunt work I started to mix some shows and he realized that I had a good ear. He decided to hire me as a Lead Engineer for a 10-piece band that he had just taken on. After working really hard and getting more Live Sound experience and gigs I was able to quit my full time job at a big chain music store and work full time doing live sound. I found out that live sound suited me better than Studio work. Live sound is very fast paced environment and I get to work on different gear in different rooms, with different situations every gig. After graduating from the Recording Connection I've been working with a Live Sound company and I have gotten the opportunity to mix Monitors and Front of House for a variety of National Acts like, Ambrosia, Chad Smith (RHCP), Eddie Money, Edgar Winter Band, Fuel, Firehouse, George Lynch, Jason Bittner (Shadows Fall), John Waite (Bad English), John Corabi (Motley Crew, Ratt), Johnny Rabb (The New Deal), LA Guns, Little River Band, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas (Motown), Robben Ford, Simon Kirke (Bad Company), The Three Degrees (Motown), Victor Wooten and many more. Depending on if the band travels with an Engineer depends on what I do on that particular gig. If they bring an engineer I am a Stage Tech, if they don't I'll usually end up behind a console. I've been very lucky to work with big acts and I've gained more experience than I ever thought was possible in such a small amount of time. Along with mixing national acts I have also been privileged enough to work behind the console for high profile speakers such as Steve Forbes, Governor Ed Rendell, Mayor Michael Nutter, Merrill Reese, and the head coach of the Eagles Andy Reid. I've been so busy with work, I went back to my mentor and taken a few Recording Connection students and graduates to provide them with on the job experience to assist me with gigs. Without Recording Connection none of this would have been possible. I'm living a dream of mine and I'm glad I decided to leave traditional college and work to become a Professional Audio Engineer.
