After losing her father two hears ago, we noticed a steady decline in her grades at school. Applerouth created a unique learning plan and was able to connect with her on a level we never could! She is now bringing in an A- average, and we couldn't be happier. She's making friends, and is actually excited to go to school. I wholeheartedly recommend Applerouth to anyone who may find themselves in our situation, or for anyone who may just need a bit of help. Before you read, all of my comments are about 1 location only, the Briarcliff Rd location…read more It was the worst SAT course prep I have ever taken. I have never felt the need to give a negative review but I have no second thoughts about leaving a review for Applerouth's SAT course. It is the definition of a waste of money, and I want people to know what they are getting into. Here are things that happened while I took the SAT prep class: During one of the practice SATs, a cockroach crawled up my leg and obviously distracted me from my test. My teacher didn't offer to help and acted scared. I had to kill it myself while my time was running out. To add on, there was no AC in the building. Unless you are a cockroach, why in the world would you want to marinate for 2 1/2 hours in a building without AC in the MIDDLE OF JULY. All of the people taking the test were genuinely sweating. Next! I had two teachers who each taught about 4 classes, so 8 in total, and I think my knowledge may have regressed. The first guy seriously taught like he was picked off the street and asked "do you know how to add?" and then was hired. He tried to make jokes that weren't funny and he didn't have the basic knowledge to teach an SAT class. Once we were doing a problem and I got my answer, shared my answer, and he said we will see if I'm right at the end of the problem. So then the whole class works through the problem about 90%, and goes onto the next problem. I asked what the final answer was, because he never shared it, and guess what he said!! He said "oh I didn't work out the whole problem cause my knowledge stops at Algebra 1"! what I'm sorry what I honestly thought I was getting pranked. How are you teaching an SAT class and you don't work out the full problem??? I jumped for joy when I went to a class and he wasn't our teacher anymore! But my hopes were too high, because the next lady shocked me even more! She was late to EVERY class, at least 30 mins but more than likely an hour late. First of all, that is disrespectful of our time. And if teenagers can be on time to an SAT class, what the hell is up with an adult that can't?? Low bar people, low bar. She also, didn't teach well. Better than the guy, but not well at all. I was about to loose my shit when she wasn't even phased that she was late. If I was late, you wouldn't be hearing the end of my sorrys. I just don't get it, if you choose the time of the class as the teacher, BE THERE ON TIME To wrap this mess up, do not send your kid here if you're a parent or don't choose this SAT class if you're a student. I really wished I was being fooled on a prank show because I couldn't believe these people. That's it's ‍

They post videos of the kids activities every day and provide excellent feedback during scheduled parent-teacher conferences. They promote kind and encouraging behavior amongst the class and reinforce this behavior. The Director is an outstanding and communicative leader and is quick to respond. Our experience with Quad Academy has been nothing short of a nightmare. In May 2023, we provided…read morethe school with a proper written notice that our child's last day would be June 30, 2023, which is well within the required 30-day notice per their handbook. We paid the full tuition for June, but shortly after, I had to remove my child due to safety concerns. The owner agreed to a courtesy credit of $1,023.75, which was refunded to our card. However, on July 6, 2023, they made an unauthorized charge of $1,417.50 to my account despite our clear notice. When we tried to resolve this issue with the owner, she avoided our calls and emails by blocking us, leaving us with no way to communicate. Even when we attempted to contact the school directly, the administrative staff repeatedly said, "Can we take a message?" but no one ever returned our calls or emails. This left us with no choice but to move forward with serving legal papers. It's clear that the owner is trying to keep the courtesy credit of $1,023.75 by offering a partial refund of $393.75, which is far below the total unauthorized charge of $1,417.50. Despite several attempts to resolve this amicably, the school refuses to return the full amount or even communicate honestly. Additionally, the level of professionalism at this school is appalling. We received emails from the school that were sent to multiple parents in copied emails, discussing other children's behavioral issues. This breach of privacy was disturbing and unprofessional. Our child, who has always been a top scholar with high marks in Georgia, began to feel bullied and picked on by the teachers. She never experienced issues in her other academies. She repeatedly complained to us about the treatment she was receiving from the staff, which made her time at Quad Academy even more difficult. Since our experience, we've spoken with several other parents who shared similar concerns about being mistreated by the staff and having issues with the school's unprofessional conduct. It seems these problems are not isolated, and many parents have felt unsupported and dismissed by the administration. While this all took place in 2023, I am only now leaving this review because we have been unable to resolve this matter despite multiple attempts. It has taken this long due to the lack of response from the school and the need to take legal action to get the situation properly addressed. We have written proof in emails that support everything stated here, including the courtesy credit agreement, the unauthorized charge, and our attempts to resolve the issue. If you are considering enrolling your child here, I would advise you to think twice. The school's unethical behavior and unprofessional conduct are concerning, and we are now pursuing legal action. The owner's avoidance of responsibility speaks volumes about the lack of integrity this school operates with. This has been an incredibly frustrating experience, and I strongly urge others to proceed with caution.
