He rides the bus to and from school everyday. They have a great system with stops all over the city. Their bus drivers are some of the safest in the country winning multiple awards over the years. It is also a very diverse learning environment earning an A+ on the Niche website. If you're considering private school in the Atlanta area you have much to choose from. I highly recommend Woodward Academy. Call for a tour! UPDATE: We're quarter into the school year of my sons 9th grade. EVEN BETTER THAN MIDDLE SCHOOL! He absolutely loves his school and teachers. They have so much time to finish assignments during the day. I see why Woodward grads are so ready for College. They learn time management early! Love love LOVE this school. (Wish I could've gone here!)

Woodward Academy Lower School (4-6 grades) is not the place to send your child. The administration…read moreis nice, until you complain about the bullying or a teacher. When you complain Mrs Bragg quickly becomes rude and dismissive. They won't honor simple requests like classroom changes or any other suggestions, regardless of the situation. The counselors shouldn't counsel a trash can, definitely not a child. Mrs Lauchlan is pretty good at accomplishing nothing. Mr Lawrence isn't certified and he has the maturity level of a 6th grader. Bottom line: Look at the test scores compared to other private schools. The kids complain about the lunch. The co-curricular and athletic options are good. Your kid will be bullied. Your kids will receive a public school education with perks. Don't waste your money.

As a proud parent of two daughters--one in high school and the other in middle school--at Impact…read moreLeadership Christian Academy, I can confidently say that this school has been a true blessing to our family. From day one, we've felt welcomed and supported by a community that genuinely cares about the academic, spiritual, and personal development of each student. The teachers and staff go above and beyond to create a nurturing, Christ-centered environment where our girls are not only challenged academically but also encouraged to grow in character and faith. Our high school daughter has absolutely thrived. She's receiving a top-notch education that is preparing her for college and life beyond, but what we value just as much is the leadership training and the strong biblical foundation she's building. She's becoming a confident, thoughtful young woman with a clear sense of purpose--and we know that's no accident. Impact Leadership Christian Academy is shaping her to be a leader who lives by her values. Our middle school daughter is equally flourishing. She's embraced learning in a way we hadn't seen before--engaged, enthusiastic, and eager to grow. She's surrounded by teachers who see her potential and encourage her daily. We've also seen such positive growth in her spiritual walk, and it's been beautiful to witness her excitement about Bible study, chapel, and service projects. The balance of academic rigor, leadership development, and spiritual formation at ILCA is truly unmatched. The small class sizes and close-knit community mean our girls are known, valued, and supported every step of the way. We're so thankful to be part of the Impact family and couldn't be more proud of who our daughters are becoming under their guidance. We wholeheartedly recommend ILCA to any family looking for a school that partners with you in raising strong, faith-filled, future-ready leaders.

The Administration/staff are supportive and encouraging yet no nonsense, which is necessary for students success. Both of our students actually look forward to going to school each day, and have established positive friendships with their classmates. While no school is perfect, the Team at ILCA are receptive to feedback and aim for greater. It takes the effort and partnership of both the School AND the Parents & Students working together to grow a new school and create a positive environment. Thank you Impact for being a safe place for our Babies, holding them accountable, teaching them Biblical Principles and practical life lessons/skills, especially now.

Grow Montessori gave my son (Heir) a foundation I'm endlessly grateful for. Thank you to Tracey,…read morethe owner, for building something so intentional... and to Ms. Taren in the toddler program and Ms. Liz and Mrs. Savannah in primary. Each of them was instrumental in his development, and the community they foster is what truly sets this school apart. The proof: my son is now in pre-K elsewhere at a school he loves, and he still talks about his Grow teachers and friends and asks to see them. When I asked if he'd want to go back, he said he loves his new school but he really, really loves his Montessori school. This is a kid who, asked whether he'd rather go out with mommy or daddy, always says "both." He doesn't pick favorites. So that meant something. Thank you, Grow Montessori, for the lasting mark you left on our family.

During the time that the school was closed to in-person learning, it was decided that there would be a virtual learning option where packets would be available for pickup at the end of the week and all materials and lessons would be in the packet to help guide us clueless parents on what to do. There were bi-weekly zoom calls with my son's teacher, Ms. Jasmine, and I appreciated all of her guidance during that time and how easy it was to communicate with her. When the discussion started regarding whether or not the school would open for in-person learning, I loved that there was a townhall meeting for all parents/guardians to ask questions and voice our concerns. We received very detailed communication about how things would look when, and if, school reopened and this helped calm my fears a lot. Now that in-person learning has been back in session for more than a month and a half, I must say that I truly feel everyone has done a wonderful job keeping our little ones safe. The class sizes are super small (of which I absolutely love) and my son's teacher is just the sweetest and the best teacher I could ask for. This little 21-month-old is a ball of energy and she keeps him busyyyyy and updates us with things that he is doing in class and I never wonder whether or not he's okay because she is always reaching out letting my husband and I know what he's doing/has done in class. The skills that he has learned in this short period back has been amazing and being someone who loved her Montessori based education as a child, I am thrilled and sooooo thankful to have Grow Montessori. If you're looking for childcare that is literally going to help your child grow, and a staff that is truly compassionate, kind, devoted to the children they serve, this is the place for you.
