The massage was poor, only my back side of the body was massaged due to time as the used up all the time with suction cup. They do not understand English well and there was a communication gap. I was expecting the suction cup to be at the end of the massage as I paid extra for it, but they included within my massage time and did half job. The person did not know much about massaging and was just rubbing their hands over and over again to kill time. It was a waste if my time and money. To add it all they stand in your way out to get tips. Not a good experience.

That was my 4th surgery for revisions after having a bilateral mastectomy with immediate DIEP flap reconstruction due to breast cancer. When I started going to Carol my torso area was hard a brick! I was behind the 8 ball in a major way with getting my massages done (about 8 months) due to excruciating wide spread joint pain from fibromyalgia. By the time Carol got her hands on my I was twisted & knotted up MESS! Did you catch that...I WAS... Carol is AMAZING!!! I travel about 50 min to get to her & do it happily! She is worth her weight in gold! She is HIGHLY skilled & how she connects with your body using her fingers, hands, forearms & elbows as her guide will blow your mind! We are now working on scar tissue. NO internal fiber can escape Carol's hands!! She is like a medal detector. Once she gets a "hit" & her "radar" goes off, she gets DOWN in those nooks & crannies & will set you FREE!! Before Carol got her hands on me I could not, without joint pain, twist my torso area, lift my arms above my head, bend over or lift my legs. Now...NOW...I can get into yoga poses I could only DREAM of before!!! Oh yeah....she gives homework assignments. Mine was to do yoga. I communicate with her just like I would my Drs. I don't add to anything without first consulting them. I wanted to start Palaties but she advised against it because palaties is designed to strengthen muscles & at the stage I was in at the time, that would as she explained would strengthen the disfunction I was already dealing with which is the exact opposite of what her goal was for me at that time. If you are suffering in any way in your body, PLEASE reach out to Carol. Help IS out there & she CAN help! Your body will THANK YOU! You owe it to yourself to get your life BACK & to get BACK to the things that pain keeps you from. You will KNOW when you've been TOUCHED BY CAROL!

I've been coming here for years and have watched them expand their services and remodel to include private rooms instead of just curtain dividers. They offer Thai, sports, and my go-to deep tissue massages. During this visit, I opted for a 60-minute massage and a 60-minute facial. The massage included hot stones and soothing scented oils, making it extra relaxing. Phoebe always takes great care of me, appointments are easy to schedule, and the staff is flexible, accommodating your available time. If you're looking for a traditional oriental massage with professional, attentive staff in a comfortable, private setting, I highly recommend this place.

11/4/23 BACKGROUND:…read more I've done Thai massage, deep-tissue massage, Lomi massage throughout the years. My husband and I are in town visiting friends. We decided last minute to do a massage. I didn't go for the ambiance, I wanted a good massage. Walls do not go all the way to the ceiling so you can techinically hear conversations in the adjoining rooms. Not a problem as we knew everyone. There is no door on the room, just a sliding curtain. I requested a female.. Most places will ask you to remove your clothes but leave your bottom underwear on. They instructed to remove everything , but I left my underwear on because that's what I'm comfortable with. I like medium pressure because that's what I feel benefits me. Not necessarily immediately, but I feel it later. It was a 1 hr massage. I started off under the sheet as with most places. Most will massage over the sheet. This one was actually akin to skin. This is the first time I literally had a head to toe deep massage. Areas that's not the usual areas were: buttocks area, face, along neck up to scalp. I could feel knots that I didn't know existed . If you're not comfortable just say no. I was ok as I got a female. My husband requested a make, but if he had a female , he would not have liked it. A good therapist can find all the tough spots without asking. You do need to communicate if pressure is too hard or soft or if it hurts , say ow. All 4 of us LOVED our massages. It was one of the best that I've had in awhile!

Scar is so passionate about all things health and fitness, and I've been pleasantly surprised by the interest she shows in all aspects of my health journey- including sleep and stress. Scar works within my comfort zone to help me make sustainable changes. For example, due to past experiences, I am uncomfortable calorie counting, so Scar and I worked to use visual portion sizes instead to keep my food consumption under control, without allowing me to stress too much. Additionally, she worked with my (crazy) schedule and routines to find ways of being healthier each day, whether that's squeezing a walk in or a full-out gym session. Finally, Scar been my number one accountability partner, reminding me to prioritize my health even when I don't think I have time. The 1-on-1 support I've received from Scar has been invaluable, and has really helped me make progress towards my goals. My main goal has been recomp, and since working with Scar, I have noticed stronger glutes and abs, a slimmer waist, and less fat overall.
