I chose to do Young Drivers in the Kingston location for my son. I chose Young Drivers due to its…read morelong standing reputation and the claims it makes on its website. It is impossible to get a in-car appointment. My son has been done his on-line class for 6 months and he has only been able to get 6 hours of the promised 13 in-car hours complete, despite being available at any time (he is done school and not working) The customer service is just full of excuses, they even suggested that I teach my son, have him go and get his G2 and then they would finish up the lessons afterward. My comment was what was I paying them 900.00 for? Too much apathy and no empathy for families wanting to get this important step over with. My son started his course on July 5, today is May 30 and he is still not able to complete it. They also do not allow you to book any in-car until you are done your on-line, unlike other companies in the Kingston Area ie: First Drivers which my younger son is taking and we are very happy with. I have never left a review for anything before, please stay away and save yourself a very frustrating experience.

Called police , lied, cancelled the refund check for the small amount the police managed to get them to write for us. Now have to deal with small claims of we want the money back. For all 3 times i have been here, the workers have always been in a mood and very…read moreunkind/unfriendly. This would seem fine in the sense that they likely have to face a ton of abuse constantly. Except that all 3 times i was the first person in the building. Im not surprised that people get angry and yell at the workers if they treat people like this. Today, after THEIR machine didnt work properly and TOLD ME to talk to them i patiently waited a few meters from the desk. The lady started talking to me and asking stuff of me ie: "why are you here, you should be in your car after getting a ticket". And she cut me off while i was explaining that the machine told me to talk to her. Since we were mid conversation I approached the desk as that is (i thought) the right thing to do. And she cut me off agian and said "UHM NO, NO. I NEED YOU TO TAKE SOME STEPS BACK RIGHT NOW". for reference i had been (and continued to be) calm and kind. Anyhow once she finally let me tell her what had happened at the machine and then sent me back to a different on. I have had similar short attitudes with desk workers in the other past experiences. What I will say is that for my two tests the examiners were really nice and kind. This time he put me at ease with an easygoing and laid back nature. This definitely made it less stressful to perform well on my road test. Overall: machines are annoying Deskworkers are unfriendly Examiner (from my experienc) are awesome If the examiners are bad then this review would be 1 star.

So I got my G1 today (again) and I am wearing my bandanna face covering and as soon as I walk up to…read morethe entrance, the lady tells me I can't go in without a face mask ear covering. If you look up the law under Public Health, it states that any facial covering is acceptable. The law also states that they are supposed to provide you with one if you do not have one. She turned me away (which they are not allowed to do). 15 mins later I go back and I tell her I have the law on my phone from Public Health and she says it's MTO (Ministry of Transportation of Ontario for those not from Ontario) who mandates the ruling at the DriveTest Centre. My fiancee ended up calling Public Health and they are going to look into it. What pisses me off the most is that I was turned away for following the law...an amendment was made a few weeks ago stating they cannot do so, so tell me, DriveTest, where the helldo you get by acting like this? The instructor gave me feedback after every drive, and driving the mazda 3 was awesome. I am very glad to have had the personal instruction and attention to detail the drivers academy gave me. Great Yoga Studio…read more They focus on ashtanga yoga and follow the series pretty much to the letter. It's a no frills place (it doesn't have the corporation feel that a lot of studios have). The instructors are all wonderful, patient, and extremely knowledgeable! You can tell that they all really love yoga, and are keen to pass on their knowledge. There's a good variety of mysore classes as well as lead classes, and the price is reasonable!
