Having said that, I found that they offered a seasonal pumpkin flavor which could be ordered as a swirl, and doing that got me as good of a flavor as I could have hoped for. In addition to a subtle pumpkin note, it was thick and rich, and the price for the portion will suit a hungry traveler or a local. And you can eat outside with a view of some farmland and mountains nearby. It's not far from the highway, so potentially worth considering for many who travel through the area. I sampled the vanilla, chocolate, and a limited daily flavor called blueberry cheesecake. If I was ranking flavors I'd say: first blueberry cheesecake, then chocolate, and then vanilla. I ended up getting a brownie sundae $9.81 and small blueberry cheesecake cup (with a cone) $4.69. The blueberry cheesecake was good and unique but the brownie sundae dropped the ball for me. It was decent (taste wise) but the portion size was significantly smaller than what I was expecting with a near $10 price tag. I'd hope next time that they fill up the bowl a lot more instead of shorting me but it is what it is. Even though I was really disappointed with the portion for the nearly $10 sundae, this is still a solid ice cream spot that I would be open to returning to (especially if they have a cookies n cream custard flavor available).
