Save your money and time .. this place is probably the worst business I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. Here's my story. We ordered a birthday cake for our uncle, primarily based on the beautiful pictures we saw on their Instagram page ( https://www.instagram.com/theketocrumb/?hl=en). One of our group offered to pick it up, unaware of our order specifications. When she sent our group a picture of the cake that she picked up, we immediately informed her that it was nowhere near what we had ordered or expected. She called the store to request they rectify the situation and they claimed that it was perfect, but would offer a $10 refund. I then took the cake back to the store to directly show them it's deficiencies. I spoke with the eldest lady, who appeared to be the owner, and she suggested that the cake was perfect and that she had already talked to us about it on the phone. Two other employees then heatedly began to engage me. One of them even stated that they specialize in keto recipes, and not in cake decorating. I then requested that they simply add some basic decorations and perhaps try to correct the illegible writing. The owner replied, "no, there is nothing wrong with it". At this point, the other employee stated that they would have to ask me to leave the store. Feeling threatened and disrespected, I then picked up the cake, and started to leave the premises. As I reached the door, realizing that I could not see myself presenting this cake to my 75 year old uncle, I turned around and unceremoniously deposited the cake onto their floor, telling them they could keep it, and my $65.00.
I am terribly disappointed that in this day and age, customer service has become an afterthought, behind profits. More so, in this instance, it was a clear case of the customer is not always right, but completely wrong. Based on the appearance of the product, and the total lack of customer service, I dread that this cake would have tasted as badly as it looked.
