There were some fixes needed during our stay. The management and maintenance team responded to our requests in a very timely manner. For example, There were two ceiling fans that makes weird squeaking noises in the house. After we reported the issue they immediately contacted the property owner and brought two brand new fans for installation. No hassle, no extra charge, no back and forth arguments. We are very glad that we chose this company instead of renting from a private landlord. I think they are very professional and have a high quality of customer service.

Maintenance requests do not get done until couple months later, and even if they come over to fix the said problem, I can't tell that it was properly fixed. I honestly can not WAIT until I can move out of this house. EDIT: Bijan (the landlord) and I had a conversation. We came to the consensus that there was quite a bit of miscommunication on both sides of the party. Bijan definitely cares about the tenants' well-being. Once a distinct & straight-forward maintenance system is placed, I have no problems with this management company.

It took almost three full days to get a response. They made a counter offer. We made a counter offer within an hour. That was Friday at 5:30pm. No word Saturday. No word Sunday by 4:30pm. I called my agent who called Mr. West. The reason there was no response was because he had yet to submit our counter-offer. No excuses, just he had not gotten around to it yet. I asked about my recourse and was told there is none. Today, that is just not true. I strongly recommend staying away from Patrick West as he clearly does not represent the best interest of his clients. You make up you own mind about Keller Williams of Greater Columbus, as they claim he is one of their best.

They are straight forward, prompt with maintenance repairs and professional. Everyone who works in the office is great. They mean business though. Rent must be paid on time (or within a 5 day period) or you will be charged a $25 late fee. It has to be mailed out to their main branch in Cleveland. They also have the option of automatic withdrawal every month for rent as well. One thing that I will say they "lied" to me about was that water would be included in the rent. This is not true for the place I had on Kenwick. Water is a separate bill through Guardian. It is not included. You do pay all utilities (Electric, Gas, and Water, obviously) and Internet. The good thing is that WOW, At&t and many other companies can setup connections in the area if you hate Time Warner like I do. The place itself: A nice 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment with a historic feel. My apartment was renovated and I was the first person to rent it. Central heat and air conditioning, as well as a carport with a grage opener are what sold me on renting the place. There is also a designated laundry area in the basement, which is shared. It was a nice find, as I do have a washer and dryer. There is also extra storage space in the basement as well. I loved the apartment itself. The kitchen and bathroom are a bit small, but for a single girl living alone, it was quaint. My neighbors were very nice, except that I could hear pretty much everything from my neighbor below (however, I think she was just loud by nature). Overall, a great experience with Wallace. I will say that the apartments in the Bexley are do go rather quickly, as Capital is not that far from it. If possible, get a newer/renovated unit. Some of the older ones are a bit shabby looking.

There are a lot of agents in the Columbus, Ohio area to chose from, and some are probably alright, but NONE can hold a candle to The Wheelers! I was house hunting when the market was smoking hot (much like Lacey and Audra...and this is coming from a gay man!), some houses were on the market for hours before being sold. I was frustrated that I wasn't going to find anything but they stuck with me and I was able to find a great place and they even negotiated a great price for me. Look, if you want to take a risk and gamble with some random agent who would just as soon sell you a place that is an active crime scene, go right ahead. Maybe you'll get to keep the crime scene photos to frame for your walls. Or, you could pick the two BEST agents who will find you your dream home. I promise you will not be disappointed!
