I have used K-9 on and off for about 3 years now. I definitely used them almost every day when my dog was younger since he had so much energy and I didn't want him home all day. The two hour group walk is the best for the price and the excises. My dog, Ferdinand - use to get into a lot of trouble and they would call me or text me to keep me informed. Because Ferdinand and grown and I was able to take him to either work, or visit my parents in Jersey more now. I haven't used them as much. However, to this day - if I randomly need my two hours, even if I have not contact them for months, Cliff will fit me in and knows my dog. read more

Those other private half hour walks just don't help much except to let your dog "go," I used them years ago when my dog needed socialization and it helped a lot! I signed my dog up for the k9 club last year in the Soho area. Everything was great until the walker started to leave my door open. I'd come back from work to find the door wide open (this occurred quite frequently) Finally, after a few times, my watch and computer were stolen. I reached out and although the company is "bonded," you have to have proof of negligence and file a police report. Aka: there's no way you're ever going to get compensated even though they're bonded and insured. They were unapologetic and I had a horrible experience. read more

My neighbor recommended K-9 Club to me, and I've been so happy with them. My dog has adolescent energy, and came from a shelter where he didn't interact with many other dogs. Cliff and his team safely helped determine if my dog was ready for pack walks (he was), and the rest is history. My dog is relaxed when I get home, and is even picking up some tips and tricks from his fellow pack mates (ie, how to lift a leg, haha!). K-9 Club are true dog people, and I trust them 100% with my pup (and I don't hand out trust when it comes to my dog!). I used them for a long time and like them because they were very accommodating with schedules, until I started noticing a weird behaviour in our dog. Its then when I realized that he was breathing very weird and he was almost choking on TWO Choking collars, one extremely tight with those horrible spikes that poke their neck. I NEVER AUTHORIZED THIS, and wasnt aware that they use these on some dogs. I wont use them again and wont be doing large pack walks ever again. read more

I cannot appreciate K-9 enough. We've used them for almost 5 years, and from the get-go Cliff has been wonderful in orchestrating care for both dog walks (sometimes on short notice with my unpredictable work schedule) and dog boarding. Our dog is high-energy, and absolutely loves his 2-hour group walks. Additionally, Cliff helped us tremendously when our dog got heartworm, and ensured he had a slow return to activity with solo shorter walks. The flexibility of K-9 has helped us tremendously. I have a 50lb lab mixed rescue. I've used the K9 club for over 6 years now and I couldn't be more happy with their service. Cliff is great. Very responsive and tries to be accommodating. My dog loves all the dog walkers. Every time they pick her up, she runs out the door with excitement. It's a great way for my dog to socialize with other dogs and get her exercise. Because they walk her for at least 2 hours, I don't feel bad giving her a short walk when I come home from work. I've used other dog walking services and the K9 Club is my favorite. I'm very picky about who takes care of my dog. My dog is a bit high maintenance and the K9 Club has done a wonderful job taking care of her. I'm so thankful. read more

K-9 club lost our dog on a walk and somehow did not notice until he was gone. Fortunately a good samaritan rescued our dog crossing 9th Avenue off his leash before he was hurt. We will not be using this service again and lucky our dog was not severely hurt or worse! :( read more

I can't believe K-9 club has so little reviewers! Let me say I almost never write online reviews - only when a vendor was really great or really bad. That said, K-9 club is awesome! Cliff the owner and Frank our walker are so easy to work with! I've using them for private mid-day walks on an as needed basis for the past 6 months or so and have never had a negative experience. For a little bit, we had a miscommunication issue with billing, but once I noticed it and brought it to Cliff's attention, it was immediately rectified. This is a great company! read more

I called K-9 Club last minute in desperate need for a walker to take my puppy out over the weekend. Cliff was really helpful and set my pup up with an hour long walk in no time and even was able to feed him dinner with no extra fees. It was very easy and no trouble at all. The walker left a really nice note about my puppy Larry, and informed me all went well, he was fed, and he did his business. Great place, good prices, and very kind people. What service!! Was interested in the K-9 club 2 hour group walk for my 5 1/2 month old golden retriever puppy. Called and spoke with Cliff who has been very friendly, accommodating, and courteous. He spent almost an hour on the phone with me learning about my puppy and educating me on the program. Had our first "trial" walk on Monday. My puppy who is typically very hyper in the evening was pooped (in a good way!). My boyfriend noticed that a few of his nails were bleeding when he wiped his paws down after the walk. When Cliff checked in in the evening to see how my puppy was doing, we informed him and he called and spent 30 minutes discussing what was going on; he was genuinely concerned and made suggestions on how to fix the problem. We received a video the next day of the walk so we could see how our pup did on the walk. He looked so happy, and it was obvious he was enjoying himself. They even provide the dogs with water. I have only good things to say about this company and look forward to having a tired happy pup while using their services! read more

My parents and my husband and I have used the K-9 club since 1997. That's 14 years. We have had Cliff and his team care for 5 of our dogs over the years. I cannot recommend the K-9 club any higher. I recommend them without any reservation. Please read on for more details, if you are inclined. They are always on-time, professional, and accomodating. We have had to change points of pick-up day of (when we are doggy-sitting for one another), asked for boarding even the day before a last minute trip, and requested late night walks when our work schedule changed at the last minute. Cliff always, and I mean always, makes it happen. The dogs are walked by the same team everyday, who care for the dogs like they were their own. Many of them are dog owners themselves, so when the dogs are boarded with a walker, they have friends to play with. One of my dogs had aggression issues before he was neutered and Cliff and his walkers really helped us work with him. When one of our dogs passed away, our walker visited us the day before he was put down, sent us a card of condolence and Cliff was very supportive. Cliff is a profound wealth of tips and advice for dog behavior adjustments, diet and, well pretty much anything to do with dogs. My dogs have always been excited when the walkers keys go in the lock and they know they are headed out with the pack. I moved to NYC for a work, and I work long/ unpredictable hours. I was nervous to bring my pup from the Midwest (shes around 60 lbs, lots of energy). Needless to say, Cliff made it possible for her to not only like but LOVE living in NYC. She was able to go on long walks in the middle of the day with other puppies and was tired out until I got home. Cliff was incredibly accommodating with scheduling--adding her at last minute and no penalty for cancelling at last minute. No upcharge for weekend or holiday walks either! I'll never forget flying home one weekend and plane getting delayed--Sophie was waiting for me at home without dinner! I called Cliff and he was able to send a walker over to take her out and feed her dinner at very little notice. Such peace of mind!! Cliff always responds to emails/ texts within a couple hours maximum, and was able to look out for Sophie when she wasn't feeling well. One thing is that there is a large amount of turnover of walkers, but not sure how that differs from other companies and I had only good experiences with all of them. My husband and I love the K-9 Club, and so does our dog. Cliff is quick to respond and is so easy to work with. The walkers are reliable and are completely trust worthy. K9 Club is simple amazing!!! Cliff and his crew are the most reliable dogwalkers that I have ever experienced in over 25 years of living in the city with dogs. The 2 hour group walk has worked wonders for my 2 year old labradoodle, Japhy. He is extremely happy and tired. Our doorman says that Japhy is very excited when he comes down the elevator to join his mates. I feel he is well exercised. I believe that since dogs are pack animals that the group walks are a great way to socialize them and keep them that way. If you watch any of the videos that Cliff posts you can see that they all seem happy and better yet they seem to be walking together as a group and not pulling in different directions. Japhy gets a group walk every day of the week. Again, we couldn't be happier and highly recommend The K-9 Club to anyone in need of dogwalking services. read more
