We stayed here for our 29th anniversary. The staff and accommodations were second to Nunn. We ate at their little West restaurant and we're treated like royalty. I will stay here every time I go into Columbus.

The Junto might just be the main character of Columbus hotels. From the second we walked in, the vibes were immaculate: modern, open-concept, and just hip enough that I briefly considered buying new glasses to fit in. Check-in: Blink and you'll miss it. So fast we wondered if we skipped a step. Room: Spotless. Like, "has anyone ever even stayed here before?" clean. Staff: MVPs. We asked for ice and it was hand-delivered like it was room service for royalty. Valet: Friendly, fast, and somehow made me feel like I drive a luxury car (spoiler: I don't). There was a wedding going on, so it was lively -- but in a fun way, like being an extra in someone else's rom-com. It added a little buzz, not chaos. Dog policy? Yes, they welcome furry friends with open paws. The $100 dog fee stung a little, but honestly, if that's what keeps the place smelling like eucalyptus instead of wet Labrador, I'll allow it. Love the little touches too: * A fancy water bottle filling station right out front (hydration is sexy) * Open bar-style lounge that practically begs you to order a cocktail and write a novel * Steps from a beautiful park and tons of walkable areas * Surrounded by gorgeous buildings and genuinely kind people (Ohio, you charming thing, you) Final verdict? Five stars, easy. If The Junto was a person, we'd totally be friends -- or at least wish we were.

My review is in reference to the holiday pop-up "Santa baby "bar @ The Junto. I had never been to something like this and was really excited to give it a try while my daughter was visiting for the holidays last week. It was a complete letdown. Awkward, uncomfortable, crowded seating. My daughter ordered an espresso martini and it came in a large glass coffee cup, but wasn't cold or warm just room temperature. The glass was only half full and very expensive. We also ordered a dessert platter called "The naughty list" which was also very underwhelming. The chocolate cake tasted like it was freezer, burnt and way overpriced at $20 for something they unpackaged and put on a plate.

Great place, food was wonderful, everything is cooked fresh, they do not even have a microwave. The potato chips are special and could be eaten all day. Service was wonderful for 3 days straight. Nice bar area that opens up outside as well.

We tend to come here when our dog wants an adventure. I know thats weird but this hotel is extremely dog friendly and I havent been inside it without seeing a someone else with a dog. The lobby is extremely comfortable. Lots of sofa vignettes and two or three longe work tables should you need to work on your laptop. The lobby has a full bar in the lobby as well as access to the restaurant "Little West Tavern". which also has a great bar and menu (a bit pricey but delicious). There is a roof top bar as well. Should you stay overnight... they have a section where you can borrow almost anything you can think of.... If I remember correctly they have bikes and maybe even a kayak. Its really a great lifestyle type of boutique hotel.

I'm not in the habit of leaving 5 star reviews but the staff here is amazing. We booked a room for Red,white and boom. It was the Artists flat and there was a separate sitting room with big picture windows in both rooms overlooking the fireworks. The staff with a special shoutout to Anthony, Cody and Julia were friendly, professional and helpful. This is probably one of their busiest days because of the fireworks but no one seemed hurried or annoyed. We didn't eat here but look forward to coming back. Pictures are worth 1000 words!

We used The Junto Hotel as our home base for a date day/night in Franklinton. It was our first time staying here and it was a really nice experience. Keep in mind this is not in downtown proper, but across the bridge on Broad Street, which makes it walkable to Franklinton, the veterans memorial, and COSI, but it is a little bit longer walk into town depending on where you're going. The Broad Street bridge and the rich Street bridges crossover into two different parts of downtown that makes it easy to navigate by foot or bike. The king suite was spacious and modern with nice amenities like refillable water bottles, Bodum pour-over style coffee makers, nifty lighting, and a cool window bench overlooking the patio and green space. It was a comfortable room, but we quite enjoyed the public spaces too. The hotels public spaces are warm and communal (if you want to be). There is a nice outdoor patio with a wood burning fireplace and indoor work stations. The Gear Garage is a great way to get interactive with the neighborhood and city, as you can rent complimentary bikes, scooters, kayaks, and all sorts of other fun games and cameras. For late-night nosh, the Poutine Window is open Thu-Sun 6-10p.

Love the vibe such a cool place to come and chill, grab some coffee and get some work done. This feels like a west village New York.

I was told that my Honors Member rate would be booked for the full stay. At check in, the reservation I made was not even for the correct number of nights. I booked for Wednesday thru Sunday but they only had my block of rooms for Wednesday and Thursday. We were told to come down and check out and check back in the following day. When we came down in the morning to take care of this, that front desk person said we should not have had to check in and check out and move rooms even though this is what we were told upon arrival. We then find out that our rate has gone from $187 to approximately $500 a night for the remaining stay. Of course we are shocked. We went to speak to the manager and he was not willing to meet us in the middle to find a solution. He gave us a hard no and said you won't find another hotel in this area for the remaining days. We found another hotel, three rooms left and did not stay and found other accommodations. I think there were enough issues with our reservations and being told a different story depending upon who we spoke with that the hotel. It is unfortunate that they seemed to not care to loose guests and two rooms. I am truly floored by the switch and bait and also that management/staff really seemed to not be bothered. We might only be 6 guests total but they just lost customers who that will never book with this hotel chain again.

Is the food great? No, but it's freeeee so quit your complaining. Everyone likes free even if it's just kind of average. I will say, the cocktails are pretty good. And if you have kids, you can make the free food and drinks your dinner and save some serious money dining out. By the way, the hot dogs are steamed and are wonderful. Really. The hotel was asked if there was a conference or meeting room we could use for the day! The answer was Yes! One room was in the second floor and the other one was a meeting area in the lobby next to the library. It was between the Starbucks and the front desk. It was out in the open but we weren't discussing anything confidential. Very few people came by us as most people waited closer to the front desk if they were waiting for someone. This led to a quiet atmosphere where we could hear each other without difficulty. We used a delivery service for lunch because The Keep's kitchen was going to close in 20 minutes. The staff was plentiful and kind, but no one tried to follow through on anything. It was great having the hotel and the convention center being connected without having to go outside. I found the hotel in good condition with great hotel rooms, great food options, and great service. The cost was also quite reasonable both at the conference rate and general Hyatt member rate. I also used status to get some nice perks at the hotel and was pleased overall with my experience. Prior to arriving to the hotel, I used a Suite Upgrade Award to receive an upgrade from a King Room to a 1-Bedroom Suite (King). When I arrived at the resort, I inquired about a further upgrade using my Globalist status, and after confirming that there was a VIP Suite available, they were able to provide me a further upgrade even though they acknowledged that this was based on availability and that Globalists typically only receive upgrades to standard suites. I really appreciate the flexibility the hotel provided at that time! I ate breakfast each day at the Market Stand restaurant where they had a buffet during the weekend and items could be ordered from the menu on other days (including the weekend). I also ordered drinks and dinner one night at the Big Bar on 2, which also hosted several receptions and socials during the time I was at the hotel. I also received two cards each good for a free appetizer and free non-alcoholic drink, which I used on the last day of my stay. Again, great service and tasty food and drinks. The housekeeping service was good even though I sometimes needed to inquire at the front desk about daily bottles of water. The room was in good condition with the exception of ants that were appearing from no where (and that I didn't drag in with me). They were only noticed on the last day and were in the corner of the bathroom and kitchenette. Otherwise, the suite was large and very spacious! They also brought me a birthday pie/cake since they knew I was celebrating. Otherwise, everything was top notch. If you are staying at a Hyatt Regency and have Globalist status for staying 60 nights at a Hyatt over the year, you can get bonus point accrual, early check-in, late check-out, upgrades at check-in based on available (to suites), free breakfast in the hotel restaurant (in this case the buffet at the Springhouse Cafe), elite check-in, and free parking (if booked on points) among other benefits. There are also occasional challenges where if you stay 20 nights in 90 days, you can get Globalist benefits for the next year. If I am traveling back to Downtown Columbus in the future, I'll certainly plan on staying here again. I certainly recommend it!

Very nice upscale hotel…read more Location is good, near lots of shopping and lots of food options!!! Also near the Crew stadium and just down the street from a super cute little quiet park with lots of walking paths. The only bummer is the club directly across the street that was bumping profane music, which was kind of annoying. DON'T park in the parking adjacent to the hotel in the liquor store parking lot. It looks like you can pay to park but the church reserves the lot for Sundays so you WILL GET TOWED if your car is in there overnight. We didn't realize it said 3am, not 3pm, so both our car and my father in-law's car got towed. Luckily the tow lot is just .9miles down the street so just a walk away. I guess we'll just valet and stay in the hotel parking lot next time, would be worth it. Cute rooms! Very nice, clean, tidy, well laid out with lots of little amenities throughout for how compact the room is. Big bathroom, which is nice!!! LOTS of outsets and USB outlets for charging. Definitely no view in the room we had though. We could just see the cement ceiling part of whatever hotel structure is below us. They could possibly put some decor or something low maintenance out there just for some sort of view. The room coffee was decent! I appreciated the two creamers included, some hotels don't include any creamer, which it at that point the coffee is pointless to me. Luckiy my fiance drinks his black so I was able to use the creamers. I appreciated this little detail. I also do like the full size shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the rooms, as sometimes those tiny little things don't even have enough in one for my hair alone let alone anyone else that is staying with me. We had these rooms on points so value for the price I'm honestly not sure. But I definitey wasn't dissappointed by any means!
