I believe the business is now Orange Grove Coffee House, their coffee is AMAZING. I had no idea they were half a mile away from me, I'll no longe the supporting Starbucks, I'll be supporting this guys! So thrilled to find this place, with the help of my smartphone, a little patience, and a lot of driving! But it was well worth the trek. We needed to find a spot with WiFi so my husband could catch up on work e-mails, and things weren't looking good, with the nearest Starbucks about 20 miles away. So when Siri recommended this place, we were hopeful, but it exceeded our expectations as soon as we walked in. Comfy and homey with overstuffed couches and quaint decor, it has a warm, welcoming vibe. There is indeed WiFi, along with assorted gift items, a delectable bakery (yummy muffins), and perhaps the only espresso machine in a 15-mile radius. It's a little oasis of civilization and we'll certainly be back next time we're in that neck o' Texas! read more

My best friend and I were in desperate need of some place to work with wi-fi for a few hours before my bridal appointment at Suki's, which it turns out, is literally next door to The Jumping Bean. We settled in to a comfy couch after ordering our drinks, only to find the wi-fi wouldn't work. After 3 or 4 different requests to staff about the password, etc., they reset the router and we were good to go. Sisters run this place or at least work there together, and we enjoyed hearing them chit chat about this and that. Their brother or maybe one of their husbands also came in. Ahhh small town. My pregnant BFF couldn't do caffeine, so she ordered the strawberry smoothie. Usually this would entail real strawberries in a cafe, but they used a strawberry syrup. After trying a sip of hers, I was hooked. I ended up drinking half of hers because it was just that good. It was hard to get a lot of work done given how much chit-chatting was going on and feeling like we were in someone's living room, but overall, it's a cute little place. I also saw one of the kids from LCM come in and buy his significant other a Valentine's gift from their selection on the shelf. read more

Iced Coffee by definition is 'coffee served cold'. So, you can imagine my shock as I ordered an iced coffee with sugar free caramel & sugar free chocolate flavoring and I received this. I asked what was in it & the girl working said 'the sugar free flavorings you wanted.' I said, 'Is there coffee in this at all?' She said, 'You have to ask for it.' Now I'm completely dumbfounded because I ordered iced coffee so I look at her like she has two heads & she said, 'Well, we get a lot of kids so we don't add it. But if you want coffee, we can add it. Its 95 cents extra.' Y'all, IM PAYING EXTRA MONEY FOR A SHOT OF COFFEE IN MY 'iced coffee'?! So I said, 'Ok, but what's in this cup?!' 'Milk and the flavorings you asked for.' So, I paid $5 for flavored iced milk. I have no idea what these people are thinking but GOOOOOD LUCK lasting as a 'coffee shop' if you have to special request coffee when ORDERING coffee. Completely makes absolutely zero sense. Oh, and side note, the guy working behind the counter kept offering my daughter a change to 'sample' all the flavoring syrups by 'dipping her finger in them.' So, how many fingers have been dipped into the syrups before they make it into my cup?! Not a fan. Super disappointed actually! I love supporting mom & Pop shops but COME ON. Please stop calling yourself a coffee shop if you're not even serving what's advertised. And for the love of sanitation, please don't let people dip their fingers in your syrups. read more

Best coffee shop in Orange! Great seating and inviting atmosphere. I had the spiced chai tea latte and it was wonderful. The cake balls were moist and very good! Cute boutique inside the shop, and obviously family owned. Used the wifi to do some homework for a while and drink tea. Would love to go again! read more

The staff is very friendly. We are always treated like family when we walk in (or go through the drive thru). Their muffins and their drinks are great! They have assorted treats and lunch items as well. The vanilla chai is our favorite! If you need a quiet place to work or study, this is definitely the place (free wifi). It's great to have this little bit of serenity nearby. read more

The hours listed on Yelp are wrong. We just drove 20min out of our way only to find the place closed. Seriously aggravating. No hours were listed on the door, (hours sign was not on) so I don't know what the actual situation is. If time is an issue you might want to just keep driving. Loved this place, the owner knows Coffee. My daughter and I stopped in for coffee, and got so much more. The coffee was wonderful, but our visit with owner was the "lagniappe" she is a wonderful spirit filled lady that followed her dream. Some of the richest Texas Pecan Coffee I have ever had. The atmosphere is very nice and comfortable. The baristas and staff are very friendly and welcoming and the pastries are really good. The lemon bars are the only reason I stop here anymore. However, this isn't a business it is a hobby. On two occasions, I have stopped at this coffee shop during the hours that were posted on the door only to find that they were closed. On one of these stops, I walked in and there were people sitting at tables and hanging out, but they told me that the place was closed and that they were just some friends who were hanging out. When I have ordered coffee drinks, the barista was not knowledgeable on how to correctly make certain drinks and the coffee used was either stale or low quality. The low quality coffee drinks certainly weren't something I'd have expected to find in a "specialty" coffee shop. In the future, I will go find coffee elsewhere. read more

Getting good espresso or cappuccino is tough in a small town in east Texas. When I first found the Jumping Bean, their coffee was quite good. I like a strong espresso for my cappuccino, but lately it has gotten weaker and weaker, and the last cup I had tasted like dishwater. I wish they would go back to how they were making it a year or so ago. read more
