The way he pours the beer into the glass, clears the foam off, and dips the glass so its all nice and perfect for you. Such a pro. You can even taste a sample of the different craft brews if you are indecisive or your palate is feeling a little picky (aren't we all sometimes). Their selection of artisan beers is not overwhelming, there is a little bit of everything, and Ale will tell you what is good for you if you tell him what you like. They have my precious Cider! Don't judge me. There is no sign outside, easy to miss but worth looking for. It's not a huge place but it's very open inside. There is a small patio with a couple tables outside. I'm finally growing up and sometimes i wanna hang out and actually have a conversation and hear each other without having to yell out loud, ha! This is the place. Located in a city surrounded by wine makers, Archea Brewery is knocking it out of the park. They are an independent craft brew pub founded in 2012. They have a combination of house made beers and other artisanal beers focused on Italian producers, but do have others from across the region. We had two of their beers, which were extremely flavorful, and two beers from other craft breweries. We made a quick left turn and saw a line of people waiting. We weren't necessarily sure what they were waiting for until we inquired. Most people were waiting for sandwiches - SCORE! We decided to get in line and realized how quickly the line was moving. Traffic was being moved by their workers who were assisting with menu suggestions. We quickly got up to the front of the establishment and realized how tiny it is inside. It was so cool to see an actual Italian deli in action. From what I heard, they source their ingredients from local farmers, too! I ordered the La Rosa and my husband ordered the Gregorio (in honor of our friend Greg!). We waited outside for a few minutes while they prepared our order. The sandwiches were absolutely delicious and the bread was surprisingly crispy. The sound of the crunch of the bread was the price of admission right there. The ingredients all tasted amazing, but the paper thin sliced turkey and spicy marinara really stood out to me the most. If I have to be really nitpicky, I did think that the bread doesn't have longevity. Could be that my sandwich was so saucy, which makes the bread soggy and gummy sooner than other other types.

I bought a red "Morello" that was amazing for only €3 here. Unlike most wine stores in Florence, this store also carries a wide selection of artisan beer. Though there is no beer on tap, their prices for bottled specialty beer are not extraordinarily high, so it's easy enough to come and try a couple from their selection to find one you really like. The owners are very knowledgeable, so if you are unsure of what to try, just ask them and they will help you select the perfect wine or beer to fit your tastes. If you are in the mood for something bubbly, they also have prosecco on tap, how amazing is that?!
