Dr.Todd and Dr. Nguyen are fantastic and have been taking care of me for 5 years gps maintenance adjustmens. Today I went in for a visit and Dr. Nguyen took the time to go over my X-Rays. He explained each issue he saw in the multiple angles with great proficiency. This expert analysis allowed him to fully address my spine health. We talked over a home care plan to help support the in office visits. I'm not sure why people still think Chiropractic is fake medicine as it's supported by decades of medical journal reports. 02/19/2026 UPDATE: They are still awesome. $89 for 4 visits a month + $10 for each add'l appts. I end up going 2-3 times a month sometimes but it's still worth it. And they sent out an email prompt if I am underusing my credits. I came and told Dr. Nguyen that I had tension in my shoulders and neck. He asked if I had a headache--which I did! The place is clean, spacious and well set up. The docs are very friendly and helpful on explaining what's going on in your body and how to fix it and for how long. I ended up signing up for 3 months with $89/month with 4 visits per month with complimentary for 1st visit. I am very torn on this review. I came in (in pain) on a Saturday. I had slept wrong and the whole right side of my upper back and neck was terrible. I was thrilled to find a place that was open on Saturday and they had a $29 First visit special, which was amazing. I walked out of there sore but already feeling better. Here is where the stars go down. Though the doctor cured my pain that day, he left me with weeks of residual pain in the form of a bruise to my ribs. Dr wasn't a big guy, and I'll admit that I was tense. So after not getting a good resulting crack after the first two press downs (where I was on my stomach, prone) he really went in with force on the third and did a little damage (though still with no good crack- those came later in the upper back and neck area). I do think he realized he went too hard because he didn't continue those and quickly moved on after I yelped in pain. Though that hurt my chest that day, I didn't even realize I had a bruise until probably four days later as my rib really started to ache on the right side and it became hard to breathe. It is still hurting today, two weeks later So as I said, I am torn. I am grateful that they were open that day and happy they were able to help with my original issue, but I hope this review serves as a reminder to exercise a little more care with the full weight press... read more

I have had back issues for years but could never afford medical care. My back literally gets shifted to one side whenever it spasms and Tylenol/ibuprofen/yoga/stretching can only do so much. Dr. Tim Nguyen has been adjusting my back for at least 1 month now and I see a huge difference. He answers all my questions and does his best to go above and beyond. My husband and I joined the monthly membership and decided after a few months that we weren't using it so I went in the store and signed my cancellation paperwork. The following billing cycle my account was charged the $89 membership fee. Even though I had canceled it in the store a few weeks prior. I called the store to inquire about my cancellation and why it was still charging, and the gentleman looked into it and said that whoever processed my paperwork didn't put it in my profile so it wasn't canceled. So he said he was able to cancel it, but wanted me to redo the paperwork. And I said well why didn't you ask the guy who was working the day that I came to sign it because I specifically came in to cancel and did it all in person. And he asked me the name of the person that was working and I thought well why don't you just look on the 18th and you tell me who was working. Not like they have 12 receptionist they only have one. Anyway, just seemed a little frustrating that I have to redo the paperwork even though I specifically went in there to do the paperwork so they just really are disorganized, and still charge you even though you cancel your membership. read more

Dr. Todd and Dr.Dana are truly incredible. I was experiencing a lot of pain in my hip and neck, which led me to the Internet to find the best deal.. I found an incredible walk-in deal for about 30 bucks for a first time patient and because I was desperate and in pain, I decided to just go for it. From my first appointment it was with Dr. Todd and I was so happy about it that I got a membership on the spot that very day. I have now been going for two months. I really want to give Dr. Dana extreme credit for how amazing and gentle she is as well. She is only there on Mondays..and it may just be her female touch,but the way she does things is truly incredible so relieving and so comfortable. I just left an appointment with her JUST now and I was so satisfied and relieved again that I had to come on here and make sure I put a review. And it's for both Dr. Todd and Dr. Dana, but Dr. Dana definitely stole my heart with this I had one negative experience here and sadly it was with Dr. Nguyen. He's probably great! just not the one for me. After my appointment with him, I was left in pain for about a week and a half and refrained from coming for a little bit because My two favorites weren't there every time I would go in for a few try's. He could be great for others, everyone has their own style and way of doing things... It just wasn't for me and I felt worse after going to him specifically with how he does the hips. DO NOT COME HERE. THEY WILL OVER CHARGE YOU AND SCAM YOU FOR YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. I was over charged for 5 months of payments after canceling my monthly policy. I had records of bank statements and emails trying to contact them and get the issues resolved I even asked if i can just get credit so i wouldn't be scammed of my money but they refused. The receptionists know what's going on they apologized to me many times for their management not calling me back. I took a year and a half for the Manager to finally call me and basically tell me to F off. Check Yelp, MANY people are going through the same situation. Came in a few weeks ago to see if getting adjusted could help my body and I couldn't move my neck for 2 days.. the person who adjusted me didn't even do the basics things a chiropractor should do!!! He didn't even tell me to breathe before cracking me and my body was so tense... I was too shy to say anything..having an old friend who was a long time chiropractor and used to ajust me I was pretty shocked on what he did to me.. I still bought a package thinking I could request a different person next time but then was too sore to function for days.. The girl at the front desk was a very good salesperson and was very nice so I decided to purchase from her without really thinking about it.. I can't go back as I am now scared and although I didn't use a single use in the package they won't refund me and I had to talk to a chain of 3 women who sounded and spoke like teenagers and were extremely rude. I have tried to reach out to corporate with no return phone call. The apparent manager did call and let me know they were keeping my money and I was no longer in their system. At least they can't scam me out of more money.. Worst yet I can't even tell my bank about the phony charge because I thought I could trust an apparent reputable company with cash... they know this or I would have been refunded by now. Go to a private place not this chain of unprofessionals. They told me it I want to get a refund to bring them a doctor note? Are you going to pay my co pay and for my time to go see my doctor because I want a refund for a service I have not received ? I paid for something and did not receive anything from what I paid for ? Why would you be entitled to my money? This seems very illegal and I will be looking into other legal routes I can take now because it's not even about the tiny amount of money it is about respect. I just had the best chiropractor experience in my 10 plus years living in Orange County. I've tried multiple different chiropractors in the area but nobody was quite like Dr Nguyen. He has was able to identify exactly where my upper back pain was AND he instantly adjusted my neck where I can look side to side again. This is our first visit to The Joint Chiropractic. No appointments necessary! We were greeted by the receptionist. Dr. Todd Cunningham is amazing! He adjusted my husband and I to up-keep our wellness. He adjust my husband's neck, hip area and tugged on his legs. For me, he adjusted my neck, shoulders, hip and lower back to release trapped gas within joints. This was an immediate satisfaction! My whole body felt loose and free from pain. I notice as soon as I sat in my car, the stiffness came back. I am aware going to the chiropractic isn't going to be an overnight fix. I was told to come back 2x a week for two weeks and then return once a week. I think I'll do the monthly plan and see how this can benefit my body. It is $69/month and two months required. I really don't know what Yelp reviewer Duwee is talking about below.. Sounds like a misinformed individual. First off, it's Todd not Toms. But more importantly I've been with The Joint for a few years and have visited several locations. This would be one of my top 2 locations (Dr Gallo at the Anaheim location would be the other). Dr Todd and his staff are pleasant, personable, and safe. There are hand sanitation bottles at the front and back of the office. Dr and staff are masked properly. The tables are all sanitized between each patient. I know because I actually have to wait for the sanitation process since I have my preferred table of the 3 in this location. The monthly membership is for 4 visits in the billing cycle so I'm not even sure how my fellow Yelp reviewer feels it's a scam and lost hundreds of dollars unless he never used his visits. Is that really the business's fault? You have all the freedom in the wold to use up these 4 visits. There are hundreds of locations. Plus you can cancel any time or even pause your membership if you're out of town or whatever. The Joint has been the best thing for my acute scoliosis. I feel so much relief to my back pain after each visit. I can always ask for more focus in certain areas if needed but each doctor has always been pretty damn on point with my pain points. Take it from a regular patient and not from someone who doesn't even know how a membership works. You have to actually go, my friend. This review is to address the poor customer service and discomfort I felt in my most recent visit to cancel my membership. I came in a few days ago to cancel my monthly membership because I didn't need to go 4 times a month anymore to manage my scoliosis. Also, my insurance at my job covers chiropractic care with other doctors so I decided to cancel to save some money. I came into this location and Dan was working the front desk. I've seen Dan plenty of times during my visits here and he's always been a positive and friendly person. However, when I came in and said "I'd like to cancel my membership", his face went from a smile to a stern look. As he was printing out my cancellation paperwork, I started to ask about how much time left I will have to complete my final visits at The Joint. But before I could finish that sentence, Dan shockingly shushes me and said "Shh! Don't say anything right now, there's a lady waiting over there and I don't want her to hear any of this". I was completely in shock and responded with an "ok". I was so uncomfortable because Dan had implied that there was a lady sitting in the waiting room waiting to be called in by Dr. Jaime so he doesn't want her to hear me cancelling my membership? I didn't come in with any complaints about The Joint. When Dan asked me at first why I was cancelling, all I said was that I didn't need the membership anymore. I've never had any negative things to say about The Joint and Dan literally shushed me because he claimed that would threaten the integrity of the business. I was about to speak up in that moment of discomfort but I wanted to hurry up and get my cancellation processed and get out of there. I've never felt so disgusted by the actions of a representative of a business. **Let me just emphasize that I've been to several Joint locations and have seen many front desk ladies do their job while in the waiting room. Everyone has been great, friendly, and not intimidating to work with. My fiance and I got a membership to the Joint a few months ago when I pulled my back in Vegas. We are local to the HB location and we are so happy that we are because Dr. Todd is AMAZING! We always look forward to seeing every week because even though the adjustment is quick, he always makes sure to ask how we're doing and I love that he gives a personal aspect to it. Anyone can be a chiropractor and adjusts you but it takes a special kind of person to make you feel important, quality human interactions are so rare these days and I'm grateful I get that here at the joint with Dr. Todd. :) Dr. Jaymee is amazing too! I have been in so much pain down my left side that I finally went in to get an adjustment. I'm normally a 1 and done type of patient, but this time I've decided to see the treatment all the way through.. today was my second visit, and I'm in so much less pain than when I went in earlier this week. I have sciatica pain going from my hip to my ankle, and I have plantar fasciitis in my left foot as well, so walk, standing, laying, sitting... I'm always in pain.. but now with the consultation that I had and explaining where I'm still having issues, we are able to work on certain parts at a time. I left feeling great. With only slight pain in my ankle and foot. It's so important to follow the plan, I promise, it's worth it!! I have been going to different joint chiropractic offices for a year. This office and Dr. Tim Nguyen have been by far the best offered in the area. Dr. Nguyen is professional and reliable. He works Wednesday through Saturday. I go out of my way to make sure I see him. He is predictable and always does the same gentle manipulations. Starting with going up and down the spine then a shoulder adjustment. Another back adjustment and then the best cervical mobilization I have had compared to at least twenty other doctors. He always begins by asks if there is anything that needs attention. When I had a stiff shoulder he spent another five minutes on that particular area utilizing pressure points. This is a quick and easy way to prioritize yourself and the health of your spine! I haven't thrown out my back since keeping up with my four visits a month. read more

I've been seeing Dr. Todd Cunningham for awhile and he's been saving me for all these years. He has always fixed my problems and his work is amazing. Recently I was recommended to see Dr. Tim Nguyen and had a session with him when Dr. Todd wasn't in and I'm so glad I've met him as well. I've been having the the most stubborn pain on my right shoulder that ran through my arm and thumb as well. As a massage therapist, I usually can pinpoint the problem, but this one was unusually difficult to fix. The second he read my issues, he found the pinpoint on the dot! The person told me she could put it on a 3 month hold and they would call about reinstating. I told this person I was having a medical eye procedure and did not know when I could return. To start off I came in to this location at the beginning of the month because I tweaked my back so I wanted to see if an adjustment would help. It did not help, but that was not the problem I have with this business. And actually the chiropractor that adjusted me was excellent so this is not about him. This is about the fact that I've worked in gym sales and sale in general for over 10 years so I know when they ask you to sign up for an extended plan instead of doing just the one time visit which questions I should ask. So when I was offered a deal to do 7 sessions for 79 dollars I asked if it's a recurring charge or is it end after the month. I was told it was a recurring charge and then I asked okay if I want to cancel after this month because I knew I wouldn't need it long term. How many days in advance do I need to give notice. I was told two days notice. And was told as long as I cancel by March 1st I won't be charged. I thought it was fair so I decided to do it. Now when I called today to see if I could cancel on the phone since I was working. The young lady who is the receptionist in the front told me she could email me. She pulls up my account and says oh you can't cancel you are committed to two months of payments. Which I was never once made aware of and if I was then why was I told if I cancel by March 1st I would not have to pay. That's not even the worst part. If I want to hear back from a manager in time for me to cancel and not get charged I would have to wait till Friday or Saturday cause she only checks her emails twice a week. When I asked if there was any contact info or a way I can get in touch and get this resolved asap she said no. She was unwilling to try and resolve the issue. And for that reason is why I only give them a one star. It's shady and scammy tactics like this that make people not want to agree to long term plans with establishments like this. If I could give them zero stars trust me I would. I wouldn't recommend this business. Hopefully they make necessary adjustments but I doubt it. read more
