I was down in the San Pedro and Torrance area and decided to drop by on a whim. I looked it up on Yelp. This is not the location I usually go to Culver City. I was checked in promptly. Dr. David was awesome I came back sat down he ask a few questons where I was hurting and specifically what I needed. I told him I just got off a plane flying back from New York and I was sore. He was like, good. Then he asked me what else was sore. I he made the normal adjustment but when it came to my back he applied the right amount of pressure it's great felt like I was back on a sports training table. I asked him what days he was working, and he said he was coming from the Rosemead location. I am glad I caught him he today. This is one advantage of having joint locations around the country I have been to serveral around the country as well. Good adjustment. He was absolutely fantastic. Five stars. read more

So I started coming here for a rib that was out of place! Now I was in the Chiro industry for over 5 years before I moved into standard Medical Care for the next 23 years. With that being said I am an Empath, a Reiki Master, as well as having taught Trauma Management to Motorcycle Riders in the event of an emergency or accident for 2 years with Road Guardians in Tx. A single visit is $40, a monthly membership is $89 and they sell you hard on that membership!!! I did sign up for the membership as I do like to have regular adjustments. But here is my Caveat to this! Every time I walked in I was asked "What's hurting you today?".... If you are on a regular treatment plan, you shouldn't get asked this question every time you walk in! And they shouldn't be telling you that it will take you so many visits to get better! No body can predict how one's body will respond to a treatment! One person can feel better in 2-3 treatments or if it more chronic it could be a lifetime! Then since I was not Using my membership 3 times a month, I went in, April to sign a cancellation policy notice, they scanned it into my account! By August they were STILL DEDUCTING $89 from my account!!! For a total of over $400 dollars. I went in on August 29, and had a conversation with the receptionist, she told me that she couldn't to the refund as it was more that one month. She sent an email to corporate (this was on Labor Day weekend). So now here we are the Middle of October!! I am a disabled woman who has not had a job in Over 2 years! I am currently working to get SSI, and they have yet to refund my $400+. Do you how long I could make that last me!! Just alone that is my car insurance and telephone bill for the next 2 months!!! Dr Dan was great. But he is just a worker bee who gets them in and out for a paycheck. He is definitely gentle and kind, he should not be here and move on to somewhere else where the staff the services are truly appreciated. Not a Mill!!! DON'T SIGN UP FOR THE MEMBERSHIPS THEY RIP YOU OFF, AND NEVER STOP TAKING YOUR FEES ONCE YOU SIGNED THE CANCELLATION. Now I HAVE changed my debt card, and have to go back AGAIN to deal with this. I've been coming to The Joint Chiropractic regularly, and I can't say enough good things about this location! The entire staff is friendly and efficient, and the process is always smooth and quick, even when it's busy. There's one doctor in particular I consistently see....he's an older gentleman whose station is the very first one when you walk in. I keep forgetting his name (I feel bad about that!), but he's absolutely wonderful. He's sweet, kind, and incredibly attentive. Scheduled the hubby an appt w out him knowing because his lower back pain was getting on MY nerves lmao! The place was clean, the service was great (Olivia was super sweet and efficient), the Dr was thorough, kind, and attentive. What really stood out was how many clients came in and we're greeted as if they were family! Everyone really seemed to love the Dr and the office in general...that's what made me realize that I made the right choice (was skeptical because we found them on Tik Tok lol). This is my first visit to this location. I was looking for a good chiropractor but did not have such a good experience. The location was nice and both Chiropractors were friendly and personable. Dr Howard sounded very confident but when I got treatment I got hurt during the process. When I was on my stomach getting ready for a crack in my back he pushed so hard I wasn't able to breathe for a few seconds and my chest hurt after the procedure. His explanation was to see how much push back my body would give. Let everyone know I have had over 100 sessions by many chiropractor and never came out hurt/injured or knocked the wind out of me where I could not take a breath after. The rest of the adjustments were fine. So now 4 days after my session when I take a big breathe my left side has a dull pain. I hope that goes away. If it doesn't I will go to my doctor for an x-ray. This has never happened at other chiropractors so I can only say it was not done properly. Too much force on a new patient is never a good thing. Maybe a little more training by the Joint would have been helpful. read more

The wife needed to get adjusted and has been wanting to go to this place for a long time so we finally went in. the people working were really nice. We filled out all the paperwork after they explained everything to us . It was a nice clean office space. the doctor we met with was very nice and Professional. He explained everything to us what needed to be done and what could be done . she got adjusted and was happy how she felt after. The price for it was about normal for other places we've gone so she decided to buy the monthly package not sure how long we will keep this going. Horrible service/ experience I made an appointment yesterday and when I get there and talk with the gentleman he informed me that I was not scheduled and he couldn't look in the system mind you I had a conformation email and showed it to him. How do you know I wasn't scheduled if you couldn't see in the system. However I believe it was a little racism. I held a box incorrectly the night before and was in pain all night til now. I thought maybe seeing a chiropractorwill help so decided I'll see one in the morning when they open at 10. It is currently 10:32am on 12/31. When I walked in the chiropractor was working on a client/patient so I checked in and waited. A gentleman walked in and followed suit. Then he asked to use the restroom. The client was done and went to the front desk. From the waiting area you can see the long walk path to the restroom. I saw that the gentleman was walking back abs stopped where the chiropractor was. I couldn't hear what the chiropractor said but I heard the gentleman said he'll be back. The chiropractor said something because there was a pause. Then the gentleman said isn't she here first and looked at me. The chiropractor poked his head out to take a look and saw me abd went back behind the wall. Again I couldn't hear what the chiropractor said but I heard the gentleman said in a lower voice, "Yeah, if you help me real quick I'll appreciate it" and he proceeded to take off his sandals and keys down. After seeing that I walked up to tge front desk and said, "didn't that man come after me?" She said, "yes" and went to check. She just walked back abd gave me a "i dont know look". Nothing whatsoever so I just said, "I'm leaving thats just rude." I rather be in pain than give my business to this kind of unprofessional establishment! read more

My first time here or at any joint chiropractic office and currently typing this review in my car. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by the receptionist who had a great demeanor about her, was knowledgeable and walked me through all the steps. The establishment is clean, open, and the doctors were wonderful. I had Dr. Standifer who was really helpful, took his time in understanding my concerns which I very much appreciated. I had stiffness and sharp pain in my neck and all down my back. After my first adjustment....it's amazing how much motion I have and the stiffness and pain in my neck virtually disappeared! I've had this for a few weeks and have gotten massages, did heating and ice packs, stretching, all before I decided to get back into chiropractic care. So glad I came here and excited to be coming back! Also, their pricing and packages you really can't compare and they have great deals happening right now! Out of all of the Joints in South Bay, I'm actually glad I started living closer to this one. Dr. Standifer the best Dr. that I've had so far. He really makes sure my adjustments last for at least a week. He's very personable and always has an awesome attitude. I highly recommend getting adjustments from him. He's in from Weds-Sat. There are new doctors since Dr. Yamamoto left, but he was also the other great one. I'm not sure how the new doctors are because I'm very happy with Dr. Standifer lol. Depending on the time of day, you may have to wait about 20 mins. They often get new patients so those take awhile. Just make sure you time your adjustments during the non-busy times. read more

Walked in for a quick adjustment with my husband and was evaluated and treated by Dr. Yamamoto. He was great. I've had lots of adjustments before and he has great technique. He is passionate about getting people better. He adjusted basically the areas that needed it and even used some stretching techniques, activator and the drop table to while working on my husband and I. #1 I had an appointment today on 7/22/22 @ 1:pm, however, I got there just a little bit late, not too bad. They refused to treat me after I spent my personal time and gas to drive from 3 cities away because both chiro adjusters headed for a 2hr Lunch. That's not very conducive for a business like this. But seriously, who treats new patients in this manner, seriously? They should have paid me for my gas and wasting my time... Smh! #2 Btw, the girl at the front desk was not very atentive or listening properly when I spoke to her as she kept asking my date of birth three separate times, and I responded three separate times. I just went to this location and they told me that the chiropractor didn't show up to work and they didn't have a back up person so I basically showed up to my appointment for nothing, they could have called me to let me know not to show up. I didn't make it a big deal because they offered to century location in Inglewood on the same day. I asked them to call the location to let them know I was on my way and they said it was not necessary. I show up the the location in Inglewood and the chiropractor said that his receptionist didn't show up to work and he was not accepting anyone....what a waste of my Saturday the Joint clearly doesn't have it together. read more

Let me start by saying this was my first time going to a chiropractor. I was always too afraid from hearing horror stories. I finally gave it a chance because my neck and lower back pain have been terrible. I was warmly welcomed as soon as I stepped into the office. I LOVE how clean and beautiful it is in there. I filled out the paperwork and went back the next day because I arrived too late. That was my fault. The next day, I waited about 10 mins, and the doctor called me in. He asked me a few questions about my pain etc. He was very friendly and did an amazing job at communicating on what he was going to do. Walked me through how to breathe when he was doing the adjustments. That was my first session, and I immediately felt relief. I got their wellness package, which is $89 for 4 sessions per month. I think it is a reasonable price. especially because I work sitting down 10 hr a day. He also told me it would be best for me to go twice a week for the first 2 months, then decrease depending on how I feel. Definitely recommend to try them out. read more

I was recommended by my sister about this company. The fact that they have multiple locations even in different states is awesome. Dr. Yamamoto is very knowledgeable. He did my consultation and first treatment. He explains the treatments and what he'll do to help you get back to your normal routine. After 1 session my neck and back felt amazing and made a difference. They have different plans and first time special. Wow. This was my first adjustment ever. I was feeling some discomfort, so I called for a same day appointment, I was able to get in same day! The check-in process is super easy. The Doc was super nice and explained everything he was doing. He gave me some exercises to do at home also. Great experience. I will for sure be back.
