The last owner, who was fired/forced to sell the business, was signing people up for a recurring 89 a month plan with out letting them know. I was one of the victims. The manager there and one of the receptionist are the ones that told me about this. New ownership took over in November and was aware about this and did nothing but continued to take peoples money that weren't even going there. They are the worst of the worst. These people are extremely unprofessional. Unknowingly to me, they created a contract before I received my first 7 treatments. I never even received the 7th treatments nor did I ever Sign any contract. They proceeded to bill me $360 over the next 4 months. I am a 73 year old man on social security so I feel that these folks took advantage of my age, and cheated me out of my money. Over many many months and numerous phone calls and emails they refused to reimburse me. The owner never corresponded with me. He just had his manager to tell me NO!!! Finally, I made them a very decent offer which stated if I receive the 17 treatments, which I paid for, I would accept that solution to the problem. What did I hear back. Absolutely CRICKETS!!! I decided to give this place a try to ease the pain of a sore back. I was told for $89 I get 4 visits plus an additional 3 for the month which then I could decide if I wanted to continue to seek "treatment ". I went for the first 3 visits and felt far worse than when I started. I figured I gambled and lost for $89. I was comfortable walking away. A few months later I'm looking at my bank statement getting ready for taxes and find they've been charging me for the last 4 additional months. I called and they insisted that I signed up for their wellness plan. I absolutely did not but did not read the fine print. I signed according to what the lady at the front desk told me. A bit of bait and switch. In no way would I sign up for a wellness plan without knowing if this would work or. It. I'm mad at myself for not thoroughly reading their BS contract but I have a bad habit of believing what people tell me. They refuse to return my calls so I'll be forced to seek professional care from my doctor then a trip to my lawyer as I'm far worse now than when I went in. Avoid this place. Their business platform is unethical and I question their talent. In my 3 visits I saw 2 different people and both said they had additional jobs in the field. You definitely get the franchise treatment. If you want to seek chiropractic treatment, do not go to the McDonald's of chiropractors. read more

I never thought I would review a Chiropractor but I am simply shocked by the immediate results. I must have strained something either on my shoulder or upper back because I had pain in that area going up to my neck causing headaches for weeks. I stretch everyday after my workouts and for those few weeks, I really focused on stretching out that area but found little relief. I called The Joint because I was desperate to be pain free even though Chiropractors petrify me. My initial visit was less than 30 minutes. Dr. Keith is very calming and knowledgeable. My nerves were gone after he explained to me what the procedure would entail and assured me the adjustment is pain free. Dr. Keith was right - the adjustment didn't hurt. I was sore after the treatment when I got home so at this time, I honestly wasn't sure if this was going to help. No, they don't take insurance, but the prices are like they say "very affordable" but if you compare it to what insurance pays for 1 visit. If you are low income, even the base price plan will be hard to scrounge up. The people working here are actually pretty good tho! If I had the disposable income on a monthly basis, this would be where I'd invest it. I think if this was something you could actually afford, presuming you made above minimum wage, you would probably be very satisfied with this establishment. If only I could figure out a way to reallocate my insurance fund to this place, I'd probably get a way better deal, and be much healthier. It's very clean, comfortable, and the employees are probably the best part. They are very courteous and kind, but with a lot of enthusiasm & energy. I've been a member of "the joint" for many years. I also travel for a living and have visited many joints across the nation. My home state is Florida and I recently drove from Seattle to Boston. When I say I'll be back to this one, I mean it! Dr Keith took his time, truly listened to my concerns and made me feel like a patient and not a number. It's because of chiropractors like him that I'll continue to come back. I have a sensitive lower back related to chronic health conditions, and it's often difficult for adjustments. However when I moved out here I hurt myself and I was struggling to find an affordable chiropractor during the weekend and it was IMPOSSIBLE. And this is how I found the Joint.
