This could be said for pretty much any doctor I have seen at this location. I have migraines with neck and shoulder pain and occasionally some pain in my wrist, back, and hips. No matter what is bothering me I always feel some relief after leaving, and my body feels more aligned the rest of the week. If you suffer from any type of pain, then you know how much it means to you when someone can take that pain away. read more

I signed up through their discounted veteran packaged, got pregnant & could not longer make the drive to receive treatment. There only 2 providers that are well skilled at this location, which causes long wait times. Their policy is that you cannot leave the waiting area once you check in. Wait times can be 1 to 1.5 hours. The walk in policy does not work for a location with this much demand and only 2 skilled chiropractors. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Front desk staff can be rude, I have personally witnessed 2 separate occasions where the front desk staff gets into yelling arguments with patients- with the front desk staff driving the escalation.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Dr. Issac is very skilled and her care is excellent. read more

Wonderful chiropractic practice. Their Wellness Plan actually enabled me to follow through with an entire treatment plan, instead of just an isolated visit or two. The walk-in model is excellent. I've never had to wait more than ten minutes or so - extremely efficient and convenient! That's what it takes to actually keep the body accustomed to being I alignment and then staying there. I just visited the Joint & I've ever in my life have popped the way I did there. When I first arrived I was explained the process would be about 45 minutes to fill out the initial paperwork, meet the doctor & go over any bodily pain & be adjusted - all expectations set from the beginning were met. I'm a sonographer and am in pain daily. As soon as I was adjusted I felt like I had increased range of motion in my upper body. I was recommended to return twice weekly for 4 weeks by the doctor. Although my schedule is currently complicated and I can't commit to that, I will definitely return. This facility is affordable, and good for someone like me who can't really make appointments. You can just walk in at any time as a new or existing patient to be taken care of. read more

My boyfriend is a member, so I joined him in getting adjusted today. I filled in the new client paperwork and we were told it was going to be a 30 - 45 minute wait. Understandably, it was busy so we agreed to wait. I am sure the doctors are lovely as they took quite some time with each patient. I had been told this is a first come, first served operation. Unless you are an established client, they will put everyone and their mother in front of you. My boyfriend was adjusted quickly, then waited an additional 30 minutes over our projected time for me. I ended up taking my name off the list after I saw people who had walked in much after me get seen. When I had brought it up to the front desk, they were dismissive saying it was their policy to see members first. I was there for well over an hour and a half with zero communication that it was clients first. This was the second time I had tried to visit this place, and I will not be going back. I'll just have to drive into the Medical Center to see my normal chiropractor. read more

My husband and I were referred here as we were looking to get adjusted. My husband has lower back problems/knee and for me, it's my right shoulder/deltoid area. We are so glad we came as Dr. Azzam listened to our concerns and provided us with a plan/follow ups and at home things to do. The front staff is professional. Love this clinic! Being a walk-in clinic I understand the wait time can vary. That is to be expected. All the doctors I have met are wonderful! They took the time to listen to my complaints and they made sure to address those first. I haven't had a bad adjustment thus far!! The front desk staff gives a warm welcome as well. The Joint does not know what they are doing. My ribs on my left side are now out of alignment because of the adjustment at The Joint. I can't sleep on my left side. BTW: I had no issues with my ribs or back before going in. I left The Joint in more pain than when I went in. AND they wanted to charge me for the followup visit to fix what they had jacked up on my ribs. Dr. Marshall does not know what he is doing. When I propped myself up in pain after he "cracked" my rib, he did nothing to help relieve the pain and proceeded with his routine. I should have realized at that point they do NOT know what they are doing. They are like new hair stylists coming out of hair styling college: They know one routine only. If they jack you up, they will try to figure out how to fix it and CHARGE you along the way. WTH?!?!? read more

I came in with severe lower back pain. (Come to find out it was a slipped disc) The chiropractor here at the Joint treated me with kindness and care. He popped my back back into place on both the left and right side. It was explained to me that I needed to come back several times before I would start to feel relief. My back was in complete knots! I really struggle with hip, back, and shoulder pain so going to a normal chiropractor once a week can get pricey. I was very exited when I saw a subscription (without hidden fees or cancellation nonsense) for chiropractic care. I am really happy with Dr. Jackson's care in particular. Your front desk clerk (African-American Lady) at the Alamo Ranch location made me want not even bothering to sign up. She is mean, flat out NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. I come there in pain, she hands me 8-10 pages of paperwork to fill out and tells me there are 3 financial options, we will only see you if you pick the right one. What is this some sort of game? I ask her which one, I want to be seen. I'm in pain. She says I cannot tell you. I then ask if she will explain the options in more detail (I'm in pain and don't care to read all the legal stuff), she says I'm sorry I cannot help you. I'm like WHAT? I ask another question and like a parrot she repeats the same stupid answer with the same stupid look on her face. I've been a manager for over 40 years, managing billion dollar businesses, I see a person in the wrong job. I took a day off to walk in here and be treated like dirt by two completely unprofessional front desk girls and their attitudes of not wanting to be there and hating their lives, you are losing business because of terrible front desk service. I didn't believe the other reviews that mention this front desk attitude but I strongly suggest you find better help that wants to be there if you want your business to grow at the rate that it could be. A bull ring nose piercing should not be allowed at the front desk of a doctor's office. And neither does the kid wearing it. A customers experience starts once they walk in the door, always remember that. read more

On November 28, I called this Alamo Ranch location close to home, around 3pm and was told they take new patients at 6pm. My husband was in pain and could barely walk due to back pain, so he waited till 6pm that day for his first visit, but he just was turned away by the Receptionist. She said they only had 1 chiropractic working (but they close at 7pm) and that he would have to return the next day. There was no customers in sight. How does that make sense?? We were given wrong information over the phone to begin with. We just walked out and went to another location that is about a 25 minute drive, we made it right before they close at 7pm. This other location took good care of my husband and they told us that the Alamo Ranch location is known for doing that!!! (Turning away customers when it's near closing time). Well, we know that's is a true statement!! I'll never go to Alamo Ranch location and I will not recommend anyone to go there. especially when it's almost closing time (unless you want to test them). TO ALAMO RANCH LOCATION: please do not apologize with your lame excuses, which I don't care to know about. This other Joint location proved to us that you don't care!! You should not have a practice open if you don't want to see new patients who are in pain come in!! read more

So this was my first time ever at a chiropractor, and it's just not for me. It didn't really fix anything, so maybe that's partially why it's only 3 stars. Also- the concept is great, but...if you think you can come on your lunch break, you're wrong. I would come and a new client had just started a consultation and I'd end up waiting 30 minutes IF I was the next in line. So if two other people are in line, you might as well forget it. I did buy the 2 months of 4 visits each, but because of how busy I am, I found it hard to get there 4 times both months. The staff is really great, I'm just rating the business itself. Canceled my membership and won't be coming back. But hey - some people really Like it, so come and figure out if it fits your lifestyle. read more

walked in as a new patient today and got stared at by other patients as if i didn't belong there for one. second of all, i walked up to the counter only to get ignored by some snobby young woman until i had to say "hello?" and she responded to me very snappy and said "we don't take new patients after 2", which is fine but i could have gone without the attitude. the least welcoming place in Alamo Ranch that's for sure! If you like false advertising, long wait times and to pay for a service you can't use then this is the place for you. They have multiple signs that say something to the effect of just ten minutes out of your day is all you need. It doesn't matter what day or time you show up the wait times over the last few months have jumped from 30 minutes to way over an hour. I showed up 9 times during the last month of my membership all at different times and days and was quoted over an hour each time or even asked to come back later. It's about 45 minutes round trip to the nearest office and I can't wait hours to be seen. I spent $69 and wasn't able to get one session in. I canceled my membership with confirmation it was in enough time and received an email indicating I would not be charged the next month and they still charged me. The chiropractors just get you in and out and don't listen to your concerns or why you even came in. They need a better check in system or app to help people decide if they want to waist their time and gas first. The concept of this place was good but since they now have an influx of clientele they don't know how to properly manage the constant flow of patients. read more
