Rather than making a new patient feel welcome, she made the process much more stressful than it needed to be. Customer service is especially important in a medical office because many patients are unfamiliar with insurance or may already be anxious about seeking care. They told me that it was cancelled and I was good to go, only to realize in February that they had still been charging me! I contacted the office, the wellness coordinator that attended me did not sympathize or apologize for anything and quickly tried to dismiss it. She told me to fill out a cancellation form, a form that I was not given in October. I filled it out and thought that would be the end. No. I check my account again this month and realize that I had been charged AGAIN for March and April! This time I had proof and emailed the office to refund these charges. The wellness coordinator this time was not as dismissive and she told me that they would but she did not apologize for the mistake that this time I had proof for. The lack of proper customer service is frustrating. Honestly, don't want anyone else to experience this so please be careful.
