I've had great experiences here with both Dr. Josh and Dr. Davis. I've been going consistently for about a year now, and I truly believe it's made a difference for me. I've had headaches that lasted days completely go away within minutes after a simple adjustment. As someone who's dealt with back and neck issues for a while, that's been huge. Dr. Josh is super nice and great for a quick tune-up when you just need to get back on track. Dr. Davis is also very kind, but takes his time and really focuses on technique. You can tell he's very thorough and intentional with his adjustments. They both have different styles, which I actually really appreciate. As a bday gift, my mother and her husband paid $89 for what was represented by staff as 4 visits for $89. After the 4 visits, If i liked their services and chose to continue , I would have to sign up for a plan. I filled out the digital forms and my mothers husband used his debit card to pay the $89 fee (July 2022). I used 2 of 4 visits in July 2022 and never went back. The Joint charged my parents bank account $89/ month since July 2022 until Feb 2026. 44 months = $3, 916. We immediately contacted the clinic in Salinas , however, staff could not locate my account . Phone calls and in person visit yirlded same result, no account found in their own data base. I was directed to corporate - I left a detailed message and asked for help. Corporate never replied. This continued for nearly 3 weeks, however, when I called again a few days after leaving the message with corporate staff magically found my account in seconds and canceled this membership over the phone contradicting their own policy. Immediately I received a copy of the cancellation via email , it contained false info and a signature, not my own. The joint is refusing to refund a single cent for the reason that the membership contract that was never knowingly established was never cancele?? My parents never signed a contract, they never authorized recurring billing and now they refuse to cooperate in resolving this matter. This is a pattern of deceptive business practices evidenced by many complaints sharing many of the same similarities. A legitimate membership would have been in the database since the beginning. This is not a matter of a failure to cancel a membership that was never knowingly established this is a matter of the joint charging the bank account of a person who was never a patient there who never signed a contract and who never authorized the joint to withdraw from their account.. this clinic follows the same patterns of misrepresentation, they do not value their clients whatsoever, we were never given anything on paper everything there is digital , for their benefit. They continue to charge my parents bank account even after a card replacement in 2024. The emails I received 2022-2025 were all sales/promo related, none were receipts, renewals, reminders- The bank is investigating the charges, I filed a complaint with BBB, the FTC and DOJ are next. Im filing the forms for smal claims court today . How does a clinic charge the bank account of someone who is not a patient and who did not sign a contract with them for 44 months yet they cannot find any information or any account in their own database??? A formal investigation of this clinic is long overdue. The joint is in the business of selling membership contracts by any means using chiropractic care as a guise. They had the nerve to call me 3 times to promote sales, not ine call regarding this matter. My mother is 73 yrs old, the stress this has caused her, her husband, and myself is unacceptable. This has been a terrible experience I do not wish on anyone. The Joint gives Chiropractic care a bad name . If you're looking for chiropractic care I'd stay away from this place. Went on a wellness plan and came to my adjustments, but instead of feeling better I started to feel worse. So I stopped going and called to cancel my wellness plan but they insisted I needed to come in to speak with the doctor to see what they can do better. I didn't end up going in to talk the doctor because I had already made up my mind. I then owed a balance, and paid it off, and they continued to charge me even without me going and clearly specifying I didn't want to continue with the plan. Asked for a refund and they said they couldn't provide me my refund because they didn't do that and due to me needing to come In person to cancel when I could've just canceled my plan over the phone. I normally don't leave reviews, but my recent experience deserves to be shared. I called to cancel my plan since I haven't been able to make any sessions due to work, travel, and moving. Instead of a smooth process, I was met with unnecessary pushback from the staff. When I asked to speak with a manager or supervisor, another receptionist named Lili got on the phone. Her tone was unprofessional, loud, and sarcastic. She insisted that cancellations can only be done in person and, when I asked for a copy of the cancellation policy or to speak with someone above her, she told me there was no one else I could talk to and said, "That's how it's done, you just don't like it." That type of response is completely unacceptable. Customers should not be belittled, cut off, or spoken down to when making a reasonable request. If in-person cancellation is the policy, it should be communicated respectfully and with clear instructions--not attitude. If you are the owner of this franchise, I strongly urge you to train your staff in better customer service. A receptionist should never escalate a situation or make a client feel disrespected. Professionalism, patience, and basic courtesy go a long way in retaining clients. read more

Tried to cancel a membership that I no longer needed and was denied on multiple occasions in person and over the phone until finally they "cancelled" my membership the day it automatically renews. IVE BEEN HEALED!!! oh man my shoulder was giving me so much discomfort ever since I retired and it would make me stiff. My whole right side of my body was completely tense. Thank god my husband took me here! And I feel so much better! The discomfort is still there but it has been reduced by 50%! It's a miracle! The Joint is super accommodating with their hours. I was thrilled to be able to drive over to Salinas, no appointment necessary, and see Dr. Davi. He had worked on my back for me in the past and did an excellent job so I knew I was in good hands. It was also super affordable. He listened to me, explained everything well and was very thorough. We needed a sports physical done for my son who rides for the mountain bike team at Salinas High school & were referred here by one of the coaches. It is walk in only which is the only draw back, but we only had to wait about 30min so not enough to take a star off for. Alyssa at the front desk kept apologizing for the wait, a couple of things she forgot to have me sign, etc. There were many people checking in, checking out, phone ringing & she was pretty much alone at the front desk handling it. She was polite, seemed knowledgeable about services, plans & insurances. then she told me she was new there. So; good job to her! The doctor seemed knowledgeable about mountain biking & asked my son details about his bike, how he rode it & offered tips to prevent injuries. Told him he'd be happy to see him for any issues for falls or adjustments after a strenuous race. While I know it was a little bit of a sales pitch, my son got excited & thanked him for offering to help him during the season. We were in & out in about 40min & was only $30 for the sports physical.
