I highly recommend Cater Chiropractic! Since I've started seeing Dr. Gemma, my headaches have been occurring less, and my back pain has improved greatly. I've been to 3 other chiropractors in my life, and Dr. Gemma may be the best. Not only is she extremely skilled in what she does, but she genuinely cares about her patients and their care. I would recommend this place to my best friends! read more

I can't recommend Cater Chiropractic enough!!! After visiting several chiropractors in the past, none have been able to ease my pain as quickly as they did. I regret not giving them a try sooner. The team is amazing, and the large parking area in the back makes it super convenient. read more

So this is like my 8th time visiting, and this is an updated review from my appointment today. I had a 3:00 appt and was called on time, didn't wait long for the doctor, and the front desk girls were very friendly. I'm paying out of pocket now, but I don't mind because the service is worth it. I have already recommended them to my family read more

I just couldn't continue treatment here. All I got was the same adjustment every time on my neck and had no improvement. The wait time when you arrive is terrible too. The entire office is outdated as well. It looks very 90's. The music they play isn't ideal for a place of business either. read more

My experience with this office has been nothing short of excellent. I have found each member of the staff to be friendly as well as professional. The office is conveniently located in North Salinas, and there is plenty of accessible parking in the rear of the office via Laurel Drive. Dr. Kimble Cater was able to pinpoint my problem areas with X-rays and explained to me in my initial consultation that the process would take time. Having never visited a Chiropractic office before, I felt confident in Dr. Cater's assessment and treatment plan. After multiple visits, I have been able to resume my daily activities and feel confident in doing things that were not possible with the debilitating back pain I had been experiencing. I am very pleased with the results! read more

I have to say these Brothers are the best Chiropractors I have ever seen. Once you are their patient they always get you in when you need an adjustment. They always treat you with respect.. I also think there staff is very friendly and attentive to the patients need. Thank you for your care guys.. read more

Since my last review, the doctor called me personally and apologized for my previous bad experience. I was assured that parents are welcome and encouraged to accompany their children. I was able to make an appointment for him but as he has just turned 18 he elected to go by himself. They even offered an x-ray to ensure he got the best treatment. read more

Dr. Greg is a racist. My name is Lisa, and I've been coming here for years. On March/20/2021, I came in for a neck adjustment and Dr.greg asked me if I was chinese, I said No. He then proceeded to make comments about the Atlanta shooting, and he went on about how Black Lives matter is wrong. I spoke to the manager, and they were all upset and agreed with me but then Dr.Greg threatened to call 911 on me and he sent the management home. I have everything recorded and I am still in shock,I am so upset. I will be uploading on YouTube, local news as well. read more

They give you a time for your appointment and have you waiting an hour to see you, I don't know why they put 20 persons at the same time for an appointment. Awful service of one of the receptionists. I do not recommend this place at all. read more

Dr. Greg Cater is amazing! Pulling up to this nondescript building, I was a bit skeptical, but I had read all the great reviews, so I still gave it a chance. I'm so glad I did, because Dr. Greg is the best chiropractor I have ever worked with. I have severe neck, shoulder, mid-back, and lower back pain. He examined me, took X-rays, adjusted me to the point of what my body could handle, and everything was covered by insurance. Dr. Greg is gentle, will only offer you what you need, nothing more, nothing less, he is not a salesman, he just fixes your pain. I will continue to go see Dr. Greg long term, he's a great find!!! read more

I've been dealing with some lower back pain for years now. Had previously gone to a chiropractor and I did less pain and overall improvement. A friend of mine recommended Dr. Kimber Cater and it's been three weeks now. I feel that it is helping me with the pain but I know it's also a process so I'm being patient. Their office is very efficient and friendly. Dr. Cater is also friendly and I felt comfortable with him. I will give you updates on the service but for now I'm pretty happy. read more

I'll definitely be recommending Cater Chiropractic to anyone I know, especially in the Salinas Valley. I've had several sessions for the pain in my middle back and in just a few weeks , my pain faded. I had an amazing experience visiting this chiropractor, especially it being my first time . First time here. Lovely little office, clean, and the young ladies behind the counter were professional and very attentive. Melissa took my daughter back and was very accommodating to a young patient. She made her feel comfortable and was very professional and still friendly. She greeted everyone as she passed anyone by. I'm big on customer service and Melissa is a gem! read more

My first time going to chiropractor was last year. I can barely walk because of lower back pain. My brother highly recommended Dr. Gemma. I called the office and got an appointment the next day. I love that they have long hours, 7am-7pm, with my change of my work schedule lately, I can make an appointment on my convenience. Dr.Gemma is very thorough, ready to listen and she make you feel at ease. I appreciate all the wonderful staff. Thank you so much! read more

I spent nearly 2 years in a lot of pain from my back and had seen a few different chiropractors and MD's and got no relief. After giving me a through examination and x-rays, Dr Cater sat me down and explained why I was having these problems, set up a treatment plan and suggested other nutrients and exercises. That was 3 months ago, I am still under treatment and feeling a 100% better than I did when I went in to his office. Dr Cater is very easy to talk to about the problems I was having and explaining how to help myself. His staff is very friendly and professional. His office is opened from early in the morning till late at night and Saturdays. I highly recommend them to everyone! Don't let the pain from your back get to be a problem. read more

I started seeing Dr Cater the beginning of the year after being involved in a car accident and had some neck and back issues after a few adjustments I noticed a big difference. Dr. Cater always has very useful information on supplements and nutrition. I was 6 months pregnant when I first came to see Dr.Gemma she was highly recommended by my friend Erika. I had excruciating back and hip pain for two weeks. I couldn't stand straight and needed help moving around, my doctor just wanted to give me meds for muscle spasms which I wasn't comfortable taking. After seeing Dr.Gemma once I started feeling better I had almost no spasms and could finally stand straight. After going a few more times I finally have no pain. I highly recommend her she's amazing! read more

After my recent car accident I used the reviews on yelp to help me decide which Chiropracter I would see. When i called to make an appt i was able to get in the same day. I can honestly say I don't regret coming here. When I arrived to cater chiropracter the receptionist was very professional and friendly. I was most surprised when she stood out of her chair to introduce her self and welcome me to the practice. The physician near the counter did the same and I automatically felt welcomed. After filling out paper work they showed me a brief introductory video which was very helpful since I've never been seen by a Chiropracter. My overall experience with the staff and physicians was more then I expected. I'm rating this facility 5stars but in reality i would give it 10 if I could :) I would defenetly recommend this facility to everyone. Stop searching and just give them a call read more

If you are in pain I'm telling you to grieve this place a try. I was so bad off 2 days ago I could hardly function. Today I am just here for an adjustment to ward off the evil back pain spirits. I am forever grateful to the doctors that work here. They truly care! And that's invaluable!! read more

What a great place to find some healing in Salinas! I needed some manipulation after some serious backpacking with a load on my back that was far too heavy for way too long! These folks were willing to get me in same-day. Upon arrival, I noticed that everyone working there was smiling and upbeat, even though it was busy, they took a moment for kindness. There was a running display about ways to improve your mindset, and as I stared at that I genuinely felt a positive shift in my attitude reading the affirmations... They got to me quickly, and I was a little nervous when I sat in the room with the xray machine because I just won't do them, but they were not pushy about it at all, and respected my wishes. Imo, this is a good sign of a high-quality Chiropractor, one who can adjust by feel and intuition. I'm sure there are plenty of folks who need xrays, for acute cases and just in case there is a fracture or something, but for my ole back with it's pains that go back decades, I am not one of them, and I was mighty grateful this didn't become an argument like with the last person I tried to get help from. The young lady who did the intake is very sweet has a calming presence and the Doctor who treated me is so pleasant and she is easy to talk to; and they both gave me full attention with the kindest smiles :) And the adjustment was great, multi-fold and provided instant relief that lasted. It is so refreshing to discover a healing place professionally run by folks with big hearts. I highly recommend! read more

The team at Cater Chiropractic was amazing! I had a Lombard strain late Sunday night and they were able to give me treatment first thing Monday morning. My back problem was so bad I wasn't able to stand or walk, but the team was able to give me adjustments and therapy twice a day, and I was feeling significantly better within a matter of days. The doctors were very helpful and knowledgeable and informed me the reason it happened and ways to avoid it happening again. All in all I'm very grateful for the team and the help they gave me. I highly recommend them to all my friends and family! read more

Not satisfied with 2 visits. All I got was neck adjustments although my main complaint was lower back pain

Cater Chiropractic is an excellent office with upbeat, friendly receptionists and knowledgeable doctors who utilize a multiplicity of manipulation techniques as well as electric impulse diodes that do a great work on tense muscle tissue. I will be going back to Dr. Cater for periodic adjustments to maintain optimal health. There are a number of excellent chiropractors in the Salinas Valley, though in my view the Cater Chiropractic professionals are among the elite, very best available in Salinas. read more

I had to leave as they play religious music. I had asked them do you always play religious music? I felt like was in church. They should let you know that this is a religious based office. Not comfortable for me as I am of the Jewish faith.... added due to reply from below. I had asked the ladies upfront. One of them was incredibly rude. It's interesting, when I called and spoke with another young lady, she was nice. I called back to get info for a massage as well and the same mean lady picked up and said sorry that's a different number, I can't connect you. So, again, when asked to hear different music, the reply was rude and no. I left. read more

Cater chiropractic is a family run business with over 50 years of combined experience in health care. Aside from chiropractic, they have massage and therapy services and hold weekly Vibrant health workshops (totally free). My family has been patrons of their office for over 15 years and we have never had a problem with treatment or care. Their advice is always solid and unbiased and I never feel pressured into returning for care. I highly recommend Dr.Greg, Dr.Kim and their friendly staff to anyone that should be in need of proper and efficient care. No matter what is ailing you I am absolutely positive that they can help!! Thanks for reading. read more

I have only been to two visits here. That being said, Dr. Kimble Cater was able to reduce the pain in my lower back significantly on the first visit. Today I am also completely pain free. I have a few more visits to go, and I can not wait to see the end result. The staff is friendly and has a great attitude. I definitely would recommend this chiropractic office! read more

I called here based on a friends recommendation. First time ever seeking help from a chiropractic...Once I spoke to the receptionist to see what a consultation entails, she was some what rude and very matter of fact with me. Her rudeness changed my mind immediately. I'm sorry I'm not chiropractic literate, just to put it out there I believe her name was Ana. read more

I reluctantly came here from a referral. I gave them my medical history that indicated I should not have any type of "spinal manipulation" and no twisting due to sciatica and other problems. Although the staff was friendly and helpful, during the so-called therapy in which I was saying was painful, Dr. Carter continued and aggressively twisted my back. He obviously did not look at my intake paperwork showing this should not have been done! The procedure caused me extreme pain and a headache. And he couldn't even prescribe anything for the pain he caused. Their so-called "therapy" might be helpful for some patients but there are some medical conditions that were clearly on my intake form in which spinal manipulation is completely inappropriate. read more

Before I went to Cater Chiropractic, I could not sleep because of my back. I went only after I had read in a book that chiropractic care was helpful for many back related issues. Dr. Gemma took x-rays and did an evaluation. Then I went through a month of rehab with Dr. Greg, 3 times per week. It took a little while to get better, and it happened gradually, but I did get better eventually. I did not have insurance at the time, so I had to pay for the treatment myself. It was hard, because I was not working at the time due to my back and also tendonitis in my hands, but in retrospect, I would say that is the best investment I ever did to for my back. I believe now is has been 11 years since I started going to Cater on and off for maintenance. read more

Very knowledgeable staff but I felt like cattle being moved in and out so quickly. I tried to explain issues I was having but the chiropractor was more interested in getting me treated and out the door. I also tried to explain the neck popping was not helping and it hurt. I endured it anyway until they finally realized that my neck was stuck and needed to try something different. I am thinking how many patients do you need to see in a day? You are not giving quality care this way. I am bummed because I heard good things for years about this place. read more
