I visited The Joint Chiropractic and was originally charged for4 sessions. However, I only attended 2 session. Today, my account was charged again for services I did not request or authorize. I went back to the location to request a refund and resolve the issue in person, but the staff gave me the runaround and refused to help. Instead, they dismissed me and gave me an email address to request a refund. I am still waiting for a response to the email I sent. The customer service at this location was very disappointing and unprofessional. Based on my experience, I would recommend being cautious when providing card information. If you choose to use their services, consider paying with cash to avoid unauthorized charges. read more

I went to The Joint and was given a tablet at the front desk to answer a few questions. She also said there will be three options and I would have to choose one. She also said she couldn't tell me which one to choose. No problem, I answered the questions then got to the options. Upon reading, option 1 mentioned Medicare and that I wanted them to bill my Medicare insurance company but if they didn't pay I would be responsible. The other two options were about paying out of pocket. I chose option 1 because my Medicare does pay for chiropractic care. After I submitted my choice it immediately closed down. When I asked the front desk about that she said once you hit option 1 they can't work with me. I told them I was open to paying out of pocket, but was told that was not possible now because I chose option 1. I was so confused. Option 1 talked about billing Medicare and was never told either by the front desk or any of the options that they do not accept Medicare. I again told them I was willing to pay but they said all they could do is recommend other chiropractors in the area that do accept Medicare. I walked out. I've never heard of anything like this. read more

This is probably the best Chiro spot my husband and I have found. We moved here from NY in search of a good Chiro and were completely striking out. We heard a number of people recommend this location, but to be honest I was VERY skeptical. The first day we came we met John who was very detailed and paid close attention to my concerns. I struggled for years with sciatica and I was almost losing help. I don't know what John does but I haven't had issues since coming. I was so pleased with their practice that I even brought my mom when she was in pain, and she walked out another woman. If you're looking for a good Chiro I would HIGHLY suggest this practice. Not willing to help me after filling out paperwork and providing additional information on my symptoms. I did not want my neck adjusted and wanted to have my back adjusted. After filling out paperwork including extremities that bother me from time to time, I was refused services. Complete waste of time! Go somewhere that is an actual chiropractic clinic! This is a joke and don't feel the chiropractor had the level of experience or knowledge to work on my back. For anyone with shoulder issues, go somewhere else as I was informed they only work on the neck and back! I've never been refused services in my life and highly discouraged and dissatisfied. Seeing as I was only able to get into this office for two sessions, my review is mostly based on the experiences I've had with the office and the overall process of membership. Upon starting my membership after "the new client" special, any time I came back I was waiting at least 45 minutes to see the doctor. When I signed up, I was not told about wait times exceeding 30 minutes and even when I did try to come back to see the doctor and walk in (per their process) I was not given adequate wait time expectations. No one in the office is wearing a mask, and with the spike in COVID, and this being the only place I came in the timeframe, I tested positive 3 days later after my last visit. I asked about canceling my membership and was told that I had to be a member for two months before being able to. So, I was stuck paying for two months regardless. This is not the best experience at all. Save the "discount" jargon, go find a better chiropractor who could take insurance possibly and be seen during an appointment that's specific to your needs and your schedule. read more

A complete and utter disappointment. I've been a client at the joint chiropractic for a long time. I just moved to the area and this was my first visit at this location, first I saw Dr. Ian and only question he asked me is how come I haven't been in a while when he went to adjust me there was no strength in anything that he was doing let's just say my cat could have done a better job I have never in my life gone to a chiropractor and they don't crack/adjust anything. I was so disappointed I actually asked to go to the other chiropractor that was working there at the end of my visit so then I saw Dr. Nicole. While she was able to adjust to areas, same thing, there was no force or strength and anything that she was doing. I actually feel worse now than when I walked in and when it came to the neck portion, I was literally scared they were they didn't know what they were doing. I go to check out and the young man at the reception desk with brown hair had no empathy for my situation at all and offered no resolution at all. He just wanted to collect payment and to be honest I should have not been charged $45 for this visit at all it was a complete waste of money. I put a note on my slip to have a manager call me back and I want a refund. I will be reporting this business to the BBB. I want a refund and I will have to find A joint chiropractic that knows what they're doing because this one does not what a waste of an hour out of my day to drive all the way over here read more

Great experience here. Easy to get in and out. For the month of August you can get a free exam and adjustment for their Grand opening. They have great wellness packages as well that are much more affordable than most chiropractic care. The staff is super friendly as well! read more

Dr. Paul at the Brandon location is great. I really like the convenience of having so many locations to be able to drop into. Some chiropractors are definitely better than others. I think it takes trial and error to find the ones that you're most comfortable with. read more

The Joint Chiropractic in Riverview is amazing! This is the clinic I visit most! Dr. Megan is the clinic director here and she is the !!! Love, love, love her! I primarily see her for treatment but all of the doctors here are GREAT! I would not be where I am physically without Dr. Megan! She's always positive! I love leaving the clinic feeling motivated and feeling well! The one thing I would like to tell prospective patients is that each doctor is independently based and specializes in something different in regards to chiropractic medicine. Be sure to ask about their specific specialities because one doctor may fit your medical need better than others and that's okay! The doctors are very detailed to their crafts, personable, and professional! You walk into the Joint Chiropractic as a patient but you leave as family! The front desk staff is absolutely amazing! They communicate extremely well with the doctors ! Yeraldine, Analise, Milly and Johnathon are all fantastic! Personal story and transparency from me. I had a lot of financial difficulties this year due to taking the bar exam twice in addition to having other medical expenses. Financial troubles can be embarrassing. The staff here was always professional, knowledgeable, and quite helpful to be honest. I definitely encourage prospective patients to listen more carefully when it comes to knowing what contract or plan you are signing up for! I've sought out other chiropractic services for better prices and quality service. The Joint Chiropractic is UNMATCHED! From what I would have paid in a co pay fees by going to a doctors office for chiropractic treatment would have been roughly the same or if not more than just coming to the Joint with an affordable treatment plan that fit my financial budget. The Operations Manager in the Riverview FL location is as dishonest as they come. Beware of this companies policies. I was signed up for a 6 month program and 15 days before my program ended I was forced to go into a Joint location and sign a cancelation form. They say it is because HIPA doesn't allow cancellations over the phone. It is a piece of paper, that in my case was either lost or thrown away on purpose. So, instead of a cancellation, I was charge, out of my HSA account for 8 months without my knowledge. When I inquired, they state that they had no cancelation on record. I ask them, how can that be, I went in on this date, at this time. I filled out and signed the form. They only say sorry, but we will give you free adjustments? I said, that I wanted what was fraudulently removed from my account returned and the Operations Manager Cory Leppert said no, they would not approve a refund. Total scam on their part and total mistake on my part for not looking closer at my HSA account. There are too many other places for this type of service, don't waste on your hard earned money on a company that teaches and promotes deceit and dishonest business practices.
