One doctor said I had nerve damage, and another doctor said I was having seizures. I went from one doctor to another who just put me on one drug after another. I spent my days in pain and drugged up and loopy. After much recommendation and insistence from friends who used him, I took myself to Dr Polley, who ordered a full battery of tests on me. I was really not excited about his aggressive regimen of coming in at least twice a week, with it slowly weaning down to once a week or once every other week in order to deal with my neck pain. It's hard and difficult to commit to a regimen like that when a pill might solve anything. I committed to his regimen and after 6 months, I was a new person. The pills went into the trash, and my neck felt better than ever. Being in pain is so frustrating, and finding answer to your medical problems is priceless! Dr Polley is an amazing doctor with a phenomenal bedside manner. He staffs his office with people who are just as caring as he is. Simply put, your health is important and means something to them. The office is very clean and you never have to wait too long to be seen most of the time my wait is 5-15 min I go in get treated and leave in about 30-40 min tops. I never really wanted to try chiropractors in the past because I was so scared of how bad it would hurt. I couldn't even get a lower back rub with mild pressure because of the pain it would cause. I was on 4-5 medications just to help with the pain and take the edge off. Now I am only on one as needed. In the past i even tried physical therapy but it just made things worse to the point i couldn't get out of bed without being on steroids. Its like night and day now. I'm not perfect and I know I'll always have some kind of lower back pain but its more manageable than it has been in years.
