My first visit here, actually first visit to a chiropractor. I can say that I was satisfied. My flexibility and back pain was significantly better after I left the office. That was the best that I could expect and they did not disappoint. The whole experience was pretty quick, for me that works out, although I can see how some may feel rushed by this. I like the walk in style rather than backlogged appointments. The Dr was great, he took his time and did a great job. He gave me plenty of opportunity to ask questions. I don't know the name of the chiropractor I had but it was a lady and she looked like a Viking, she was very rushed I went in with pain and left with the same pain , like I said very rushed , got me out of there in less than 10 min, and tried getting me to join a "membership " for $80 a month , nope , do not recommend this place if you got a serious issue/pain. Yesterday, I visited the chiropractor and had Walker. I informed her about a pinched nerve, requesting relief without a repeat of the initial, rough adjustment that left me sweating. To my disappointment, nothing was adjusted during this session. When I inquired, she mentioned, "well, you told me to be gentle." While I did ask for gentleness, I still expected an adjustment for relief. Considering the $45 I paid, I find it unsatisfactory. I plan to call back, seeking another adjustment at no additional cost, as I believe it should have been done correctly initially. It's disheartening that they prioritize money over patient satisfaction, especially when they expect me to return and pay another $45 for what should have been done right the first time. read more

Dr. Balogun was awesome!! He told us right away what the issue I had was. He placed us in 3 positions and the popping was incredible and super loud! I have never been adjusted. So I was quite nervous but the front desk girl(I'm so sorry I forgot her name) but she was the sweetest most welcoming soul! Overall for the first time the experience was awesome! If you find yourself in need of chiropractoc care, I highly recommend The Joint. The staff and doctors are always caring & helpful. I first came in basically unable to walk without a cane. My sciatica nerve nearly had me immobilized with pain. I also have old injuries. Even with insurance, I could not afford the co-pays at other chiropractor offices. Now, I am able to afford a wellness plan. This consists of 4 treatments a month, for less than I previously paid for 1 visit. I am impressed with the quality of care and the genuine caring I feel here. I have been a chiropractic patient off & on since 12 yrs old. After doing some research on-line and of course Yelp, I decided to bring my boyfriend here. He has a condition that requires him to get adjusted on a regular basis and The Joint seems to be the best affordable route. Our visit here was on Saturday afternoon, the front desk clerk, Izzy was very attentive and explained everything thoroughly with the exception of one thing... Your first visit is charged separately, even when you buy the monthly plan! She literally mentioned it right before she swiped the card. So yes if you opt for the $69 plan, you will be charged $39 (because they didn't give us the $29 introductory visit offer either ) + $69 for a total of $108 + tax (we had to eat from the dollar menu after that :( lmao! jk) When visiting The Joint for the first time be sure to go on-line and submit your e-mail to receive the $10 discount on your first visit. For this and only this reason, I did deduct one star. Despite this, long term The Joint still is the most affordable route.l lol Moving forward, Dr McKinley was very nice and knowledgeable. He explained the condition a lot better than the previous chiropractor that we visited. I recently was in the area and out of convenience and a desire to give this place a third chance out of desperation I decided to stop by. Izzy is a great receptionist, I do however hate the doctors here. I walked in today described my ailments in detail and with correct terminology as I am a massage therapist and have worked with a chiropractor. Regardless of what I said the doctor sounded so disinterested and unknowledgeable about the human anatomy! I really wanted to give it a chance but this is an absolutely horrendous place to go to if you suffer with constant pain and want to be treated. read more

I just went to this clinic last week because I had pain along my spinal area. I have to honestly say that this doctor made me feel like he did not care about my pain because he rushed me out the office so quick after the adjustment. The pain was still there when I left and he told me to come back for more adjustments. Why just to take more of my money without a true remedy? Even if the pain goes away after getting more adjustments at least act like you care about the patient. I felt like it was all about getting money and no concern for the pain you are going through. Find another office, this one is not the one. read more

Dr. McKinley is awful. I went in with severe back pain and described my conditions (which he seemed bored and disinterested while I was explaining) and he did a basic adjustment and sent me on my way even though I said I was still in pain. It didn't help at all! The location kept trying to sell me packages to come back and I was just thinking that it didn't help at all. Luckily I know a chiropractor so I went to him and he said I had a rib out of place! He fixed it in 5 minutes and I've been feeling a lot better. Either Dr. McKinley didn't notice I had a rib out of place or he didn't care and was only interested in selling me packages- I'm not sure which is worse. Either way, I had a terrible experience and wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. read more

They withdrew money from account after I had thought was already paid for at initial visit!! I will not return for my supposedly four more visits but yet can't get reimbursement for them!! I took my daughter for the first time to this place due to back pains, the place looked overall a nice place , the front desk girl " Lizzy" I believe is her name, she was nice BUT when it came to check out and the charges, she only informed me that it would be a charge of $79 per month and It had to be a minimum of 2 months. So basically to my understanding I had NO CHOICE but to get the 2 months, so I did. But When I check my account I had a charge of $118 not the $79 as she had informed me, NO OTHER CHARGES WERE INFORMED OR DISCUSSED WITH ME AT THE TIME OF CHECK IN OR CHECK OUT, ONLY THE $79 X 2 MONTHS AT CHECK OUT.. Before calling the place, I confirmed with my daughter the charges that were discussed just to make sure she heard the same thing as I did, AND it was confirmed she heard the same thing . So I called to see why I got the charge of $118 and not the $79 Lizzy stated it must have been a misunderstanding but she was not sure what happened and that's that , I really feel like it was a ripped off ..Please Please ask ahead of time what are the charges going to be and make sure you have a witness. I have appreciated the staff each time I have came in, front desk is very friendly and also a positive experience in person from start to finish. The low rating is due to a subscription issue....I paid for two months which I believe was a total of 8 visits and I used 4-5 of those visits. I had a major schedule change at work and have been unable to make a visit for over a month, I called in today (11/4) to check my account status and was informed that I had been charged on 10/28 for 4 more visits ($80) automatically . I do not understand how there is no way for me to receive a refund by calling within 4 business days of the new cycle to cancel the subscription, especially when I have not received any services from them.... I know it's in the fine print I'm sure, but feel that this is bad business practice. If you sign up for a promo make sure you cancel on time and there is a cancellation form so plan on cancelling in person as well....... Hate being negative especially when the staff is so great, but I feel someone may find this helpful if deciding on subscription vs. paying for single visits. read more
