I have been going to The Joint for over a decade, and I have always received great care. I'm not sure why I haven't done a Google review before now. Just a few days ago I went to their West End location. It was a breeze to check in, and I was told to head back to the adjustment area. That's when I first met Dr. Courtney McDorman. She introduced herself and made a point to specifically step aside from any distractions to focus and ask me how my spine/back, etc. was. I explained a rather unique pain I was having, and she almost immediately found the site of the pain. She probably spent 20-25 minutes assessing and treating me. I left pain free. That was great! Post Script. Most importantly to me, above any beyond her top notch medical training and abilities, she listening without interrupting for a long as I spoke. The power of listening is super power. WORST customer service I've ever experienced. Spent 40+ minutes filling out all their paperwork because every time I tried to submit they'd find "one more thing" i needed to fill out AND THEN they couldn't figure out how their own system worked so the front desk employee suggests giving me a hard copy of the paperwork to start over on. Umm, NO. Learn how to do your job. Meanwhile, my daughter (whose paperwork apparently went through) goes back, chiropractor doesn't even say hello, ask what she's treating, or acknowledge her in any way but just performs a couple random manual adjustments even though her profile says activator only. Absolutely unprofessional and not worth whatever "deal" we were supposedly getting. read more

Riley is literally the only good chiropractor here the younger lady that works here and the younger guy is absolutely absolutely terrible. They don't act like they want to see anyone. And they act like they hate their job. No customer service attitude whatsoever and when you ask them to pop you in a certain area that hurts, they won't do it... Riley on the other hand lessons and is attentive to everything. He's amazing read more

When I first started using this place I loved it. They didn't try to sell you anything, they made you aware of packages they had but wasn't pressured, just went in, checked in, got adjusted, paid and left. Now it seems to be a commissioned sales thing. If you don't buy a package you have to fill out paperwork, and almost scolded for not buying into the package, made to wait until all that have packages are seen... I will no longer be spending my money with these people. read more

They've been nice and helpful with nearly zero wait. The one time there was they didn't hurry me through even though it was past close when I was seen. I recommend you keep in mind which ones stand out so you can follow them/come in when they're on staff. The only gripe is the parking can be a problem especially if you have a big or longer than car-sized ride. read more

I've been coming to this location for 2 years now since it is close to my work. I'm starting to get really frustrated of this location as it cannot consistently keep their providers. Dr. Shay, Houston, Joe. Are either gone or was moved somewhere else. When you're about to get some sort of consistent routine, somebody leaves or moves. A key to a provider and patient relationship is consistency. But you are not getting that here. I might need to look for a privately owned chiro moving forward read more

I was not able to append to the review I submitted On March 15, 2024; however; the Joint was of no benefit to my neck pain. Is fact, the issue is worse than it was when I initially went to the Joint. I am experiencing constant popping and cracking in my left to middle neck area, and sometimes my lower, middle back area; this happens throughout the day, every day. They include in their agreement that they are not responsible for any adverse outcomes. Which means, if they adjust your back and you end up paralyzed, it's not their fault and you can't sue them. However, signing a piece of paper does not (nor should not) relax standards to quality care, or give you authority to exercise incompetence. On March 14, 2024, Donnie, applied excessive pressure to my back as he pushed down to "crack" or adjust the "spinal" area. He was a heavy, broad guy and should not have applied his strength/ pressure to a small frame woman as I am. I felt the discomfort and told him that was too hard on my back. But what does he care, I already signed that agreement, right? I thought I was feeling a little better seeing Jordan, but she was not there on this day. I saw Jordan 2 or 3 times after that, but I did not progress any further. I believe I left two visits on my account when the term ended on April 22. I had a series of unproductive visits, useless, and a waste of my time and resources. I continue to experience discomfort in my neck and back, popping and cracking throughout my day... daily! DO NOT go to the Joint and allow these people to disrupt your quality of life! Their contractual process with presenting consumers with a 14-page, small print agreement to sign upon your arrival, instead of providing a copy in advance, appears unethical to me. Why would a company do that, especially when someone is having neck and back pain? I spoke to Kimberly on the phone and explained my circumstance prior to my visit. Why didn't she email the agreement to me to allow ample time to read it? And their response to my survey on March 15, stating that, "Copies of these agreements, which get taken home with every new member..." -- NOT TRUE. Actually, the agreement states, "You have a right to obtain a paper copy of this document upon request." I was given an envelope of information to take home, which I thought contained a copy of the signed agreement, but it did not. So there's a LIE written in their own words!!! I had surgery on my foot and after weeks of a knee scooter and crutches my back was wrecked! A coworker suggested I go visit The Joint and I am so glad that I did. I signed up for the wellness plan and have been going regularly. My back pain is SO IMPROVED and I do not know where I would be right now without The Joint. Dr. Christine and Dr. Brooke have taken such good care of me and I am forever grateful! I highly recommend The Joint for an affordable option for back pain relief. I go to the Joint chiropractic offices in many cities, as I travel for work; but this was the best one yet! The place has gone to hell. Dr Jeffrey was the last great Dr at this location. She used to be a consistent reliable provider for multiple years when Dr Fowler left. Since then it's been 14 different Drs, lack of experience, consistency, knowledge, due care, you name it. Dr Jeffrey was recently back with a great new young male Dr for about six months consistently. Haven't seen her in weeks now, nor the young male Dr. For their most expensive location, with the highest traffic of all Joints in mid TN, you'd think the owners would keep their best Drs permanently staffed here and correctly. In addition to a poor pricing/subscription method, the owner is missing obvious moves for the bottom line and loyal following this place should have. Go private until the owners learn to listen to consistent feedback. read more

Doc didn't even take the time to figure out what was wrong with my back. Not a single question or concern. Tells me to lay down and just goes to town shoving my back where it was painful over and over again. Nothing cracking, popping, or moving. Just hurting it to the point that I had to tell him to stop. After that he proceeded to give me a sales pitch on membership. When we were done he told the receptionist "He's feeling much better". Never said that I was. Especially since I walked away in pain Now my back is definitely worse than it was when I went in and I'm going to a private practice this week to fix what he messed up. Dr. Fowler is amazing. I started going to The Joint to treat my chronic migraines and right away she spotted my problem areas and worked to correct them. The wait time is virtually nonexistent, the cost is totally manageable, and for the quality of work and convenience, it's a steal. I can be in and out of the office in ten minutes max. As far as the care, I've noticed significant improvements with each visit. I sleep better, move better, and feel so much more comfortable in my body, not even noticing so many things that were weighing on my spine and making me feel so off. As someone with a chronic, "invisible" issue like migraines, it is incredible to walk into a place of medicine and feel immediately validated. Dr. Fowler does that. If you're looking for a quick adjustment, the joint might be your place. I signed up for monthly membership (good deal), but quickly realized that my needs weren't really being met. I'd point out spot's that needed attention and would get the same adjustment as the next guy or gal in there. After enough time to give them a chance, I cancelled. read more

Super convenient! I had just flown into Nashville from Pittsburgh and my lower back was jacked up. I walked in to the west end office, and was greeted by a friendly face who quickly got me processed and in to see one of their staff. He had some good questions for me and an examination and pretty quick he had me on my belly and working my back into shape. I'm sure if I could go back a few times, I'd be back to normal, but I was traveling and without a way back to the office for a follow up. If I lived close to a Joint, I'd so sign up for a membership. read more

Don't get roped into the membership! You have to go back to the clinic you signed up, (no phone calls!) to cancel the membership and there are no refunds! WTF! What if I moved? What if this was put on an unmonitored HSA and you're unable to go to that clinic? Then it would simply continue to deplete your account. There pitch was this is how they keep the price low. This place is an absolute lifesaver! Dr. Fowler is so friendly, sweet, and knows exactly what she's doing. She takes the time to listen to where I'm in pain and tries to get me back to health. She's the only one I'll see! The prices are very reasonable, $60 for four treatments on a monthly plan. $60 is what I used to pay to go to one treatment at a different chiropractor so this is definitely a great deal! I've been seeing Dr. Fowler regularly for close to a year now. I love being able to walk in without an appointment and being seen right away. The plan at the Joint make chiropractic care here much more affordable than dealing with my insurance and co-pays. I've referred several friends and family, not only to this location but because the national model is so convenient. I was in Nashville last week and in a lot of pain. I desperately needed an adjustment. My preferred method of treatment is with the activator. I called the office in Brentwood only to be told that their doctors do only manual adjustments. Not being one to take 'no' for an answer, I called this location on West End Avenue. The receptionist, Hannah, explained that if the activator is needed before the manual adjustment, the doctor would accommodate me. Imagine my surprise when Dr Fowler told me that she would very happily adjust me with the activator as well as do the complete protocol that goes along with it. And on top of that, she's a graduate of Logan in St Louis. That's my regular clinic! Dr Fowler did a fantastic job. I can't recommend her highly enough! read more
