Dr. Terry has been great so far, one of the most thorough adjustments the past few times I've been. Not only is he friendly but he makes sure to feel your body out to make sure you leave better than you left. I've always felt more aligned and stretched and that will have me gladly to keep coming back. Make sure you make time or call in because the past couple of times I've tried to do a walk-in, there was a waiting list. Maybe it's different in Houston but never had this problem in establishments elsewhere but I'll gladly be put in the queue to get my adjustment here. Kudos to the team! read more

I came here recently for a hip adjustment after my trainer pointed out that my hips were very uneven. I looked up reviews for a good chiropractor in my area and it brought me to this place. The good reviews are correct, Dr Terry is incredibly kind and awesome! After a few visits I am more aware of my body and hopeful about working towards correct my hips under his care. My first visit was very easy and I walked in. They saw me immediately. Upon entering the receptionist was very kind and had me fill out some forms prior to seeing the Dr then gave me a key tag for future appointments. The office is very clean and plenty of seating if you need to wait. On my first visit to my surprise Dr Terry pointed out immediately my hips were very uneven and explained to me a plan to help my hips open up and realigned. Ok so this like my favorite location in Houston! I don't say this lightly because I'm a habitual cheater on my chiropractor's, I'll go to any location at any given time. I'm a busy person so it's hard to stay consistent location and dr wise. I usually visit the Myerland location since it's closer to me but the wait times are always so long. I decided to visit the West U location since I do my eyebrows in the shopping center, and y'all I have not cheated since! Everyone at the clinic is so friendly and nice! I'm usually the walks in, says good morning, gets adjusted, and walks right out no chit chat but they are so warm and inviting I love it! They always have 2 doctors on staff and I love that because I'm in and out quickly. While all the Dr's are great I've been consistently seeing Dr. Ajay the last few visits and I've noticed an improvement with my upper back pain. He is extremely friendly and always talks me through my adjustment so I know what we are doing. I'm quite injury prone so I visit the chiropractor quite regularly for what I call "maintenance". I literally need to stay as stretchy as possible so yoga and adjustments have become my thing. I would highly recommend this clinic location if you are looking for great customer service and great doctors! read more

Dr. Terry is amazing and he is also super friendly. I have been dealing with constant neck and shoulder pain from my work. I get treatments here and there but because of schedule conflict, I can never stick to anything long term. The Joint offers a great membership of four adjustments monthly with all of their locations. The membership was doable for me to commit to. It's also great that they have a wide selection of locations. I make time to come here at the end of my week to get adjustments that has greatly reduced my pain. Dr. Terry is really great at what he does, finding the best way to adjust each patient accordingly. I have been a regular patient at The Joint Chiropractic West U for over three years. During this time I have seen a lot of benefits of chiropractic care on my health. However, It's been remarkably helpful after pregnancy. I'm a mom of ten month old twins. During the first months of my breastfeeding journey I had chronic neck, high and medium back, and left shoulder pain. My kids love being carried on my left arm, so my shoulder and back are physically stressed all day (every day). If I am not carrying a baby, I am on the floor with them (sat or laid down). A few months ago they did tummy time on my chest, and currently, we play and exercise to improve their crawl. Also, I carry and handle a double stroller, which is heavy. The thing is, it's easy to feel pain or discomfort. Every week I'm adjusted by Dr. Terry. I explain him my issue and he makes magic. When I leave his clinic I feel relieved! Wow. It's no wonder this location has the rating it does. I've since recommended this location to multiple people in search of quality chiropractic care. I have been a dancer for well over a decade and have often seen chiropractors since I was a young teen for realignment when needed. It was a Sunday morning and I'd been dealing with some stiffness and pain in my mid to upper back. I knew exactly the spot that needed adjustment and decided I should make an appointment somewhere as soon as possible. So I began to look online for a new chiropractor as one I had preciously seen was not excellent at addressing my needs. I knew someone who used to go to another Joint location and so I looked at their website for the one closest to me. Not only was this location open on a Sunday, they got me in within 30 minutes (I called at 11:45 and was able to set an appointment for 12:15). The entire visit only took about 45 as it was my initial consultation. The exact spot I needed relief from was addressed. And they were beyond professional and thorough with their explanation. I felt welcomed and comfortable. I also really like the convenience of the service they offer. It's so affordable! They give you a keycard at your first visit which you can use at any location in the country. You can also walk in without having to make an appointment. Super nice if you're busy and just need to pop in. The only side note I have is that if you do want to use the yelp discount for your first visit, you need to let them know before they do their paperwork or it will not apply. The cost is already low so it wasn't a big issue for me, but just something to keep in mind for your first time. read more

The Joint West University far exceeded my expectations. I started barely being able to put my socks and shoes on. For weeks I was stiff, agonizing in pain. Steroid shots ad pain meds weren't helping. I could barely walk when I rolled up in here yesterday morning. The Dr who worked on me let me make all the ruckus I needed. I was in some pretty severe pain. I fully intend on going in today. My lower back was so knotted up that wouldn't all adjust. I hadn't seen a chiropractor in over ten years and it sure caught up to me. I like the convenience of hours because I work in a medical office as well so the hours are generally similar so it's hard for me to book an appt that doesn't interfere with my work schedule. Was visiting Houston for five days and did something to my lower back while exercising. The Joint was the only place I could find that was open July 5th! I went in with lower back/hips stiffness and and pain. Dr AJ was great. His adjustment resulted in me not having pain while walking and I could enjoy the rest of my trip. I did go in the next day for a tune-up before my flight and I could already tell I was more flexible. Another adjustment by Dr AJ did the trick and really loosened up my lower back. The first time I went to The Joint - West U location, they told me that I wouldn't need an appointment to come back for my second visit. They suggested that I call the day of to "get my name on the waiting list" so that's exactly what I did today. When I called they gave me fair warning that the wait would be 1 hour because it's a busy Saturday... no problem at all I was happy to wait at home. I show up 1 hour later and they tell me that the wait was now an additional 90 minutes because they put three walk-ins above me on the wait list. IN WHAT WORLD DOES THIS MAKE SENSE? I love this place! I had really bad back pain and they have helped me so much! I have had two different back issues and they have fixed me right up. The staff is so friendly! They remember me everytime I walk in and are just so caring. I recommend this Joint or any Joint but I really love this one! And I read the other review about price and I have no clue what all the pricing is but that sucks that happened. I would say it does cost but when you buy a 10 visit package at a discounted rate I am pretty sure I paid 20$-30$ per session... Really around 20$... I think it is totally worth it! Due to personal preference for thorough examination at every appointment, I don't think it's the place for me.
