I was actually seeing the alternative medicine doctor inside the same space, Dr. Taite, when I first met Dr. Julianne. She was very friendly, kind, and welcomed me with a great smile even though I wasn't even her client at the time! We had a great conversation about studying abroad, so I was impressed even though I wasn't seeing her that day. Fast forward to this week, I officially had my first session with her due to a recent car accident. I have to admit, I was a little nervous going in because I have seen my boyfriend's back being treated by a chiropractor before, and it just looks like...let me just say you have to know what you are doing if you need to realign someone's body like that. Every time I've gone in to see him, I've learned something new about the way my body works. He is one of the few chiropractors in the area that utilizes the NUCCA procedure. When I first heard about this method I was skeptical, but after experiencing it's benefits first-hand, I can attest to how beneficial and downright miraculous it has been for me and my mom's neck issues. Icing on the cake is that he and his wife, Mary, always greet us (and every patient) by name, have gotten to know my kids, and make us feel like they genuinely have our best interest at heart. So thankful that I have found this gem. *Updating with pics from my progress appointment* These are my before and after X-rays since treatment began. Notice that in the before picture (on the left), I had almost no curvature in my neck. Now, my body has learned to maintain a nice, normal curve. In the next x-ray, you will notice that when I first went in, my head was actually positioned a little crooked. Now, it is much straighter, all the way down into the spine. The coolest part of these X-rays is that when I had the new ones done, I had not had a treatment on my neck in at least 3 weeks, which means that my body has been re-trained to maintain this healthy new position. I've gotten an excellent massage recently I've been going to John for sports massages and he does an outstanding job, I cannot say the same for Dr. Balin. He rushes you every single appointment, he never checks up on how you're doing how you're feeling, what sort of adjustments you might need, he is always getting you in and rushing you out as fast as possible. He really doesn't care about you even if you've been going for a long time and his adjustments are all the same, they are never adjusted to what you need. It's actually quite comical how little he cares. He gives u the same 5 shitty cracks and says WOW you needed that! 90% of the time after he adjusts my neck I have to finish cracking it myself as he won't even fully crack my neck.
