I injured my shoulder and was thinking of how to fix it (surgery was on that list). Before I go on that irreversible path (surgery) I wanted to see a Chiropractor first. I'm a 37 week pregnant mama and discovered my baby was a complete breech a week ago. I knew this was coming as my previous child was also a complete breech. I was very stressed and despondent and hopeless until I had my first appointment with Dr. Megan. She was able to listen to my concerns and offer up suggestions for exercises, tweaking the exercises based on my specific needs and issues. All adjustments were safely catered to pregnant clients. This place is a stone cold rip-off. I went in to sign up for 3 pre-paid visits just before COVID hit. The girl in front told me that's what I was signing up for and instead gave me a contract for a monthly fee service that I then could not use because everything was closed for COVID. They then billed my credit card every month they were closed. This is my fault for trusting a salesperson and not closely monitoring my account. Where do I even begin? I made my first appointment with Dr. Megan when my son was 1 month old. At 1 month PP we were both miserable. He had torticollis, a lip tie and a tongue tie. I had pain everywhere from a rough birth. I could barely get out of bed. Breastfeeding was a nightmare. After one visit with Dr. Megan I felt like I could walk and breathe again. She's the first one that actually listened to me about the lip tie and tongue tie and recommended we get it check out by a preferred provider. Dr. Megan put us both back together, literally. Dr. Hoffman and Dr. Cox get to know you personally and they take the time to listen to your problems and concerns so they can treat you effectively. I feel that my wellbeing is their main concern. If I need 30 minutes of work, they spend 30 minutes with me. I am not just another patient lying on a table for an adjustment that needs to get in and out the door in 5 minutes for $50. I had been avoiding finding a new chiropractor for years, since my previous doctor stopped practicing. Extreme pain forced me to go on the hunt for a new one and I am glad I did. Both Dr. Hoffman and Dr. Cox have such comfortable and charming personalities, it is hard to not instantly feel at ease. Although I hobbled in that Monday morning, I walked out in far less pain. I just can't even say enough wonderful things about Dr. Cox. Not only is she an amazing chiropractor but she listens. I came into her office in tears unsure of what was happening to me. I was feeling dizzy, lethargic, having migraines, and all together off. I knew something wasn't right! I had never felt like this before in my life and now after seeing every type of Dr, having every test and imaging done was left feeling like I would just have to live like this for the rest of my life. Dr Megan is great. The staff there is always friendly. Dr will perform a typical adjustment but will take time to focus on your specific needs. Dr. Cox is an incredible Chiropractor. I came into Adjust Katy with some prior stigmas of the practice. I had friends who had bad experiences with their Chiropractors. Lost a lot of money, never healed or saw any improvement after so many visits, and you could tell it was just a business for them. But wow, Adjust Katy is the complete opposite of that. Dr. Cox is so friendly, and takes the time to listen. She does a thorough evaluation and hears you out about your problem areas. Getting adjusted could be an awkward thing with the wrong Dr but not with Dr. Cox she is so trusting and makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. She really worked with all my problem areas and even found ones I had no clue about. By the end of the session my body was so loose and relaxed, all I wanted was to take a nap. I'm really excited about finding this place and so excited to continue to come. Making appointments is so easy, they're so flexible and even willing to adjust their office hours to take you in.
